GOT Season 1 Episode 1 | Winter is Coming --- Social media stuff: allmylinks.com... Gaming Channel: / @legenbarrygaming --- Outro Song: Ellie's Song - Through the Valley --- #reaction #highlights #Gameofthrones
I can already see your reactions are going to be very entertaining. Is it too presumptuous of me to expect multiple reactions per week for this series? Ideally 1 every other day or at least 2x per week. 😁🙏🏽
I appreciate that! unfortunately I can only manage 1 episode reaction every Saturday. In the future if I get an editor, I will for sure increase the upload frequency
u know what funny is there some incest in this show but the worse part is that the lanniser who was doing the dee with his sister are fraternal twin they literaly are twin wtf . and also danerys is going be ur favours character and by the way it not the first time wee se some insect like it so normal for them esecially for targaryen that will be h important bcause they use to married their own sister, brother , uncle , cousin, even two sister wife so @@LegenbarryReactions
@@Tvhurdghit4fhi6rr it really is... if he wanted to go in not knowing anything, that's ruined cause he just said - the lanisters are twins - targaryens have done incest throughout the generations - targaryens had multiple sister wives
You struggling to keep that crown on might be the greatest metaphor for this show I've ever seen 😂 Especially once you start accusing young boys and puppies as untrustworthy 🤣🤣
To be fair in the book brand is an absolute monster. What he does to hordor in the book is so much worst and he describes it as breaking him like a dog. That’s why making him the king made zero sense and clearly shown the lack of thought the show runners had.
@@jaelynn7575 they didn’t put it in the show unfortunately. They really didn’t do much with brand or the rest of the stark children. They do a lot more in the books
ok i’m at 25:41 and i can tell this is going to be one of my favorite reactions to this show ever. Please don’t ever hesitate to pause, we love for reactors to take their time and really figure out what’s going on, especially when they do so while not talking over the show
@@TimL-nr4hrBut then they miss important parts of the conversations & are confused or misinformed for later episodes. If it was just ‘I’ve seen the show,’ why watch someone react? I want the reactor to actually understand why something is important, making the reaction that much better.
It depends on which audience matters more to him. On RU-vid edited reactions, pausing is good. For full-length watchalongs, e.g. on Patreon, pausing is mortal sin because it makes it impossible to sync your copy. So if his RU-vid views are more important, he should continue like this. If he intends to monetize his full-length reactions, pausing will make that impossible.
PLEASE, by all means, get immersed and involved and have all the fun you want. Us game of thrones fans LOVE for someone to pay attention and do their best to figure out and understand the story, characters, locations, history and lore, etc. I’ve watched probably 50+ reactions to this show to completion, and one thing that the best reactors often do is take notes as they watch. Not saying it’s a requirement obv lol but it will help you keep track of all the initially confusing information earlier.
I always tell new reactors to pay close attention to conversations, as there’s virtually zero filler. It all means something & it may turn up a season or two later. My other recommendations are to pull up a map & use captions to get a better idea of names & place names. Another recommendation that came to me not long ago is to take a quick look at how the feudal system of government works, cause I think many people aren’t very clear on how that layering of power works. Once you know that, the overall story becomes much clearer, especially the first few episodes.
@@goldenageofdinosaurs7192 King at the top, then lord paramount's/Warden's that rule a large amount of land, then the lords that follow them, and at the bottom the smallfolk aka the poor people that have nothing.
"Their 'fits are fire." 100% agree. But, fun fact, all the furs are made out of rugs from IKEA. The costume designer was on a budget this first season, but they looked so good on film that she used them for her entire run.
@@mannymushies5241 SPOILERS IN REPLIES BELOW End of S7 is imo when the plot starts to lose itself. Some things in S5 and 6 don't make sense, but at least the plot is there.
@@BazookaGamingGirl yeah that’s true I think Arya being stabbed and being completely fine was where they lost me. There’s still good moments in season 5-7 one of my favourite episodes is in season 5 I think the problem with 5-7 is not necessarily the plot itself it’s that some of the plot points are so boring. Like dany in mereen Arya in bravos the high sparrow plot line dorne and the iron islands. I just found them so uninteresting.
Pause as much as you want. So much better than when reactors talk over the dialog and miss vital information. And yes, even rewinding to make sure you understood something is just fine. Everyone watching these reaction videos has probably seen the show before, some of us multiple times, so it clearly isn’t like we mind seeing things more than once. It is fun to hear newbies reacting and speculating about the whats ant he whys. But it is also a bit infuriating when reactors base their speculations on incomplete information because they simply were not paying attention. Also, always remember that unless you personally witness a character doing or saying something on-screen, you have no idea if that actually happened or was said.
OHHHH this is gonna be dope 😂😂😂 this show is gonna knock you right out so many times. Reactions bring a lot of superfans, and GoT ones can be... overzealous. This is a huge commitment! First season can be very overwhelming, take notes if thats your thing. But don't get stressed by people who may feel like you should know more than you do. Excited to watch you on this journey sweet summer child! We'll let you know when you graduate to a Man of Winter ❤
Not gonna lie.... This gotta be the best reaction to GOT ep.1 I've ever seen !!! The observations, the commentary, and most of all the hilarity. Also, never apologize for pausing to better understand! Most people who watch GOT reactions begggg for people to pay that close of attention and I am one of them. I can't wait to see your next step in this journey.
Seeing reactions to the end of the first episode is always gold. Because from that moment you know you’re gonna be hooked. I don’t think I’ve ever seen such a well executed pilot
This is the show that really kickstarted the reaction genre. Some absolutely wild and ground breaking shit happens and there will be tons of people trying to spoil shit. Be wary in the comment section
You are an amazing reactor. That speechless pause after that horse line of Viserys' was amazing and I laughed so hard when you realized Jaime and Cersei were siblings at the end.
Subscribed! I think you'll find that most of your GoT reaction viewers are pleased to see you nerding out and going back and checking things and really paying attention 😊 The only thing I would say is that particularly in these first few episodes, not a line of dialogue is wasted, so sometimes it's better to pause to talk like you did a few times here. I'm sure you'll pick stuff up in editing anyway. I'm really excited to watch your reactions, love your energy and enthusiasm!
I've seen this show maybe twenty times watching reactions. You're made for this, reacting is your thing! I'm so glad there are always new people enjoying this amazing show.
I came here cause the algo put your 3x9 reaction up on my feed and I watched like 2 mins and already knew I wanted to watch you from the start. I love how the show/books just throw you intro the middle of all this and expects you to keep up. It's a great work of fiction that treats you like an adult. I'm loving how invested you are and you've made me laugh several times this episode alone. I'm stoked for this.
I love the fact that you're actually so into the show. Like how you're going back, pausing, re-watching parts. Too many reaction channels seem like they miss half of what they're reacting to.
Really loving how you rewound back to the intro to see the map of Westeros again. That’s a fun quality in a reaction video! Excited to watch you watch this! Ahah
You are exactly the sort of person I love to watch react to this show... rewind, understand, nerd out! You're the only person I've seen backtrack to figgure something out. I'm here for the ride!
Best fucking Game Of Thrones reaction I've ever seen. Man you made me crack up, and you caught so many things others have missed, on their first watch. The Wall was build, thousands of years ago by Bran the Builder ( A Stark) The sigil of house Stark is The Direwolf, they rule the biggest of the seven kingdoms, The North. The area north of the Wall is not part of the seven Kingdoms, it is inhabited by the Wildlings. The Wall is manned by a brotherhood, called the Nightswatch. John Aryn the former hand of the king, was ruler of a kingdom called the Vale, in the east. His sigil was a falcon. He helped raise and train Robert Baratheon (the King) and Ned Stark. Robert is a Baratheon, their sigil is the stag. they are the rulers of the Stormlands. Robert wanted to marry Neds sister, but she was taken by the Targaryens, this and other events, you will still lern about made Robert, Ned and others, rebel against the crown and kill all the Targaryens. Daenerys and Viserys escaped to Pentos. The Lennisters, sigil the lion, were loyal to the Targaryens but changed sides in the last moment, as a reward, and because they are the richest house in the Seven Kingdoms, Robert married Cersei Lannister. Jamie Lanister is head of the Kingsguard, he is her twin brother and secret lover.
here is just some non spoiler lore to help you understand. 1, the Iron throne is the name of the throne of Westeros, and what the king owns. Under the king or the Iron throne are the Nobles with the wardens of the different areas being the most powerful nobles. The Starks are the wardens of the north. 2, John Aryan raised Ned Stark and King Robert 3, the Targaryen's used to be the rulers of Westeros but were overthrown by Ned and Robert in a rebellion. 4, the Targaryen's were also super incesty 5, the Nights watch deserter went south of the wall to get caught 6,Magic is a real thing and as such magical versions of creatures exist, like dire wolves. While magic is real, is is greatly diminished and very rare in most of the world. North of the wall magic is more common and as such mystical animals like dire wolves are more prevalent but not south which is why is so strange to find dire Wolf pups south of the wall.
The Direwolf is an abnormally large and thought to be extinct creature in northern Westeros. It is also the sigil of House Stark, the ruling family in The North. Belonging to the family of wolves, direwolves are very intelligent, fierce and loyal creatures, and can grow to enormous sizes.
New subscriber. Amazing reaction... This is going to be fun ...I love reactors who take the time to understand the story ... This a show that demands your full attention because the dialogue is very important. Great job at keeping up.
I can already tell your reactions are gonna be fire haha. You look super invested and attentive. I'm telling you man, this show is gonna change your life. Literally. Enjoy the journey sweet summer child haha
There's alot of information overload at first but it will repeat alot and catch up to itself so to speak, so don't worry about being lost or confused. Everything will be explained thoroughly.
Love to see a reaction of a dude, that already catches a lot of things. Even tho there is no shame in not understanding anything the first time you watch GOT 😂
John told Bran not to look away when his Father passed punishment by be heading the the deserter. You just missed that part. He wasn’t just staring because he was fascinated.
GREAT reaction and yes get immersed! Pause and rewatch all you want. I can tell you're going to be a huge fan of this series and I'm here for it!! Love that you're paying attention and grasping it so well! Nicely done!! Subscribed
I’ve seen so many channels react to this show… this is by far the funniest reaction. I was dying at you talking about kicking Vicerys in the face 😭😭😭 I had to sub immediately after. Looking forward to going on this journey with you!!
My then 21 yr old daughter asked me to watch "just one episode" because she thought I'd like it. It was midnight! I wanted to go to bed! Lol, I was hooked immediately and we stayed up until dawn watching 1-5.
Your prophecy telling abilities are unmatched. “Look at him, he loved it! He wants the taste of blood!” The last words in Bran’s final chapter in the books is “… and Brandon Stark could taste the blood.”🫣
I can't wait to see more reactions! This show is incredible! It will enrage you, make you cry, get shocked, awestruck, and everything else there is. No joke.
Dude I'm gonna binge this and catch up, it's wild that you don't have more subs. high quality, background music and everything. And you're reaction is way better than a lot of the big channels (no shade lol).
you're the first reactor I see going back to vods of the show to double check your sources hahahahaha this is going to be a good adventure to rewatch along side you.
By the way, i think the pausing is cool. I love it when people actually think and talk about the show they're watching. If you like pausing, I say pause as much as you want. It's just more fun for me :)))
I’m so happy to have discovered your channel, I’m excited to relive the journey as you live it for the first time! And thank you so much for your service!
I can't believe it. This is the first time I see a reactor, and I have seen many reactions, wondering about how the deserter got from the north of the wall to Winterfell.
