Hi thanks for the great video! Would you recommend this for a sit down youtube video? Do you think the distortion is flattering for your face or prefer it without?
Thanks for the reply! I want to do a lot of sit down and don’t mind sitting close to the camera. Do you have experience with sony zv1? I want something that is flattering for my fave and was wondering if you could recommend one
Nice vid sir. I've never been so excited about a camera. 4K 60 and 4K 120 are enough for me to upgrade from the ZV-E10. Also the better rolling shutter and 10 bit. I'm also very curious about the crop in on active stab. I hear it's much less than the ZV-E10 :) Since the ibis is better as well active stab should work better as well. Can't wait. All the best sir.
Great lens ! I didn't think about the AF noise that could be recorded by the mic (as with the Sigma...). What mic did you use in this video ? Thanks for sharing your experience.
@@fredericlangeron9321 it’s a great at what it needs to do considering it’s size. It comes very close to my friends NTG. I really like it I apply FCP’s built in noice reduction filter.
@@tomorrowmonday2011 I’m going to Thailand in a couple of weeks. I know they had some stores in MBS that I could sell my gear to. I’m planning on moving from Nikon and want to offload the gear there and pickup the FX30 and some lens. Would suck to have to carry around both.
@@waynerm002 good call. Yup those stores are still there on the top floor of MBS. Do look up the prices of it in Lazada and shoppe. You might find a better deal.
Does anything crop this lens on the FX30? Like, 4k 30fps or stability, etc. Unless I am going crazy my A7c does not crop this lens outside of the initial 1.5 crop. Even stability is 0 crop.
I believe A7C doesn’t have an active stabilization mode. The regular IBIS stabilization wouldn’t crop into the image. In fx30 if you use the active stabilization modes it’ll crop into the image. Even 4K 120 has a heavy crop.
Thank you for the video! I just picked up the zve10 and I'm bit conflicted. I have the 16-50 kit lens and I am debating between Sigma 18-50 f2.8 (which overlaps my kit but has a bit of everything) or the 11mm 1.8. I am looking to do some vlogs, but mostly insta/tiktok food reels, and street. What do you think? Thanks!! subbed
If you are doing vlogs definitely pick up the 11, you won’t regret. I’ll make a video about 18-50 f2.8 next week stay tuned for that. But so far it’s been great.
I'm seriously looking into this lens for my FX30. I have the sigma 18-50mm and am thinking of getting the 11mm instead of the 10-20mm Sony or the Tamron 11-20mm. My thinking is that the clear image zoom functionality can make the 11mm into an 11-16.5mm zoom lens. What do you think?
Depends what you shoot. Vlogs? 11-20 would be great. That small versatility will come handy. Need to add a little spice? 11mm would be perfect with that blur. Landscape or real estate? 10-20mm
Depends on your use case. I think Sony will release an other APSC camera which would be in between these two (hopefully with mechanical shutter). I think that will be the sweet spot.
@@tomorrowmonday2011 I’ll use it for freelance photography work and travel vlogs. Yeah i hope sony does that, a budget 10bit apsc with mechanical shutter would be sick.
Bro should i buy sigma 16 mm 1.4 or sony 11mm 1.8 for travel vlog....sigma bokeh looks better and sony have more field of view...what u think i should have? I m gona use a gimbal for stabilization..my cMerea is zve10
Sir I want to buy a Camera for youtube videos and family phoshoot... I am confused between fx30 and a7 iv....Mostly for videos i want to buy camera...should i buy fx30? Also lense 11mm f1.4?
If you can get past the fact that fx30 doesn’t have a mechanical shutter for photos, definitely fx30. Since you are going to be using it mostly for videos I would say totally go with fx30. Please just call me Anan* haha
