@@PleasantGreenpls sir I have being trying all my possible best in reaching u, I don’t no maybe my messages are even getting to u at all buh I pray I reply me one faithful day, I have a lot to share with u
so, wait, let me get this straight. if I want to get a pay increase from my employer, I should not attempt to blackmail them? what a crazy world we live in.
NO! YOU MUST APPROACH THEM WITH EMPATHY AND KINDESS AND BE - CLEAR AS THE COLOR! CLEAR! CLEAR. It was to be all 3, or it will spiral. I did this at work 2 weeks ago. Litteraly today. It's fine again. You are right......but flip it around. Polar opposute what you think. If you do it that way. basically they don't even had me the last 2 days on the schedule, because now THEY have no idea what to do with me. No one listened to me. They are now. Please. Listen to me.

Or it could be out of desperation due to the lack of jobs. The poverty rate for India as a whole was at 55% per capita. I am not condoning his actions, but when you are starving, people will do almost anything to eat.
I don’t think that’s the moral of the story here, I think the moral of this story is you should build strong relationships and not lie your way to success or think your entitled because of one good thing
Just looked up how much a train ticket in India is after you said Train tickets don't cost that much($30) in India, and it's $10 USD for a normal ticket and $16.50 for an Executive ticket. So you are right, you taught me something new today! 😀
The way that the ransom price kept decreasing shows how he followed the scammer attitude of trying to get any amount of money, hence if he detects the victim isn't willing to pay up, he lowers the price. I admire how resistant you were to the gaslighting.
This dude isn't a former scammer lmao. He works in a coffee shop. He's probably a viewer who Ben recruited to just go snap pictures of things and text people and stuff like that.
Amazing how this guy became friends with Ben, learned to trust him and saw how easily it is for him to spot scammer lies and agreed to help him, until he decided to scam for easy money. Which is when Ben spots the obvious lie. Talk about burning bridges. It true. One can turn their life around, but when you return to the mud, you typically only get dirty, not rich.
If only he had behaved in a decent manner (impossible for a scammer), he could have had a regular income, what a shameful waste. Once a scammer, always a scammer, they can't see their way out.
Be wary of anyone who tells you about an emergency situation that wants you to volunteer money quickly. I believe some bad manipulators use shame and fear to get you to do what they want you to do.
Uncle Kev: Ha! I wish you had been with me when I loaned $50k to a friend, of 40+ years, in need. Things are not good anymore and I may never see money again.
@@macforme Have you ever heard we reap what we sow? Some people may call it karma. Whatever we do, we will either get rewarded or punished for it. In a sense, our actions return to us. If your intentions were pure when you gave that money to the individual, I believe you will get rewarded for it. You probably already have. That so-called friend who scammed you will get what they deserve too. Which they probably already have and still are going through. I have been scammed before too. It is a horrible feeling. Some people will use your empathy against you. Probably thinking about profit. We all will reap what we sow. We just have to try to forgive these people and move on.
@@Bibleinformationandhelp You have good advice.... I will try to forgive.... but the wound is still too fresh to just forgive and forget. I don't think this person started out with the intention of never paying me back. The problem is they refuse to give me contact information in case anything should happened to them and I would need to approach the Estate. I could get a lawyer but I would end up with a big bill and I would still not get my money from this "friend." Thanks for taking the time to share words of encouragement. 👍
@@macforme Jamaican acquantance said to me "When you loan money, you lose the $$ and lose the friend." Tangent; banks only loan $ to people who do not need it. There are a lot of good comments, but I am not reading all 597. Some of us are too trusting because we would not scam and would pay back $$. Sadly, we probably have not learned our lesson.
That was funny. "I'm a Cop, you need to speak to me about who kidnapped your Sister so I can help her out!" The Scammer,"Uh, we found her! She was at her Friend's house! 😰🤣
Even better that the "friend" scammer certainly saw this video and saw that someone else, doing legitimate work, got the 4,000r that he was trying idiotically to scam for. I absolutely love that nothing infuriates scammers more than seeing other people have or get money. I hope he is still seething in this self loathing by basing his own self esteem comparing his shortcomings to others' successes.
These guys are like shapeshifters. You never know who they really are from moment to moment. They take on multiple roles in an ever-expanding play, and they are really good at it. They could all be in Hollywood making really good money. But there is little loyalty. Their ability to plan for their lives is very limited. Insight is almost nonexistent. But they do have some good script writers, I'll say that. Especially for romance scamming. Thanks for another good video!
Lynn Proctor: Shapeshifter is a great description of these kinds of people. Unfortunately when they do the SHIFT...they can't take their soul with them.
Once again your responses to this guy were so correct. You gave him a few opportunities to come clean but he refused, mistaking your decency for gullibility. I watch lots of scambaiting videos and as entertaining as some are, yours are in another galaxy! You're one of the most caring, sensible and straightforward people on RU-vid. Your family and friends are indeed blessed to have you in their lives!
I tried to hire a graphic designer from Africa you featured and he never made the thing I paid him for. Im just glad I only paid half up front! Just shows that no matter how many chances you give some people, some will take the easy route instead of earning it.
If they really were honest and hardworking do you really think that Africa would be in the same condition that it is in right now ?? You're soo naive for falling for that , don't you have graphic designers where you're from ??
@Dont_Tread_on_me Of course... I was trying to help out someone who was seemingly trying to better themselves. You can't write off a whole continent because some, even a lot, or even if almost all were corrupt/bad. Everyone deserves a chance individually. However, I'm not stupid, so I only gave him half up front and we are only talking about an amount I spend on snacks at a gas station for my family, not some huge sum. That is worth it to me to see if someone wants to prove themselves or take advantage. I've been to South Africa and met some of the hardest working people who live in what we would call a shed, but would still give it to you if you needed it. However, due to corruption in the government and a poor economy they are not able to pull themselves out of poverty. The only people who truly get ahead in Africa are the ones who are corrupt or work for western companies. The schools we visited were single room shacks with campfires for kitchens. If the entire next generation were honest hardworking people, it would still take them 40+ years to turn the government around. So I'm not going to blame one individual for how his country is ran.
I am sorry that you lost a person you considered a friend. The point of your video is very true, especially with some young people today. That want everything right now. I worked a lifetime to be able to retire. I am not rich but I have a roof over my head and do not worry about money. Great video, Ben. 💓
Sir, you are helping a lot of people in the world my grandmother sees your video's and someone tried to do a facebook type of scam but she remembered your words and hung up. Thank you
Always about the money. Do these people ever sleep? Its seems like all they do is make up another scam. Its sickening at what lengths they go to for the money. I guess it never occurs to them that legitimate jobs pay real money. As always Ben, thanks for all the hard work you put into catching these scammers.
Yeah, but here's the problem with that. Employer's make you do back breaking labor for an unhealthy amount of hours each day. Bosses can are rude, powertripy and the working conditions are unsafe. The pay is also crap and well below what we deserve to be payed for.
Imagine admitting to lying about something- and then immediately turning around and trying to continue the same story. They're not even creative enough to come up with something other than what they just admitted to lying about.
What caught my eye was that " they " were blackmailing him in English and not in Hindi. All in order to make a screenshot for you to understand, so he don't need to translate you.
I guarantee you that he did NOT learn a lesson other than to be sneakier the next time because their mentality doesn't allow introspection, nor find faults within themselves or their actions..
This is an amazing way to get this across to your future potential partners - he was so deep and trying to sqeek money out of you he couldnt see it at the time, but now that he can go back and watch this video time and time again to remind himself of what he lost - and what he could have had like the 'IPS' agent friend of yours has. Great video, and killer content as always!
Dude had a golden ticket and just threw it away because he got greedy. Nothing better than putting away people who are ruining other's lives and getting paid for it. To the informant: you reap what you sow. Good riddance.
it baffles me how these scammers make up these elaborate but poorly orchestrated stories and really think someone will just accept it as truth without a second thought
Congratulations on 1,000,000! I’ve been here since like.. 40,000! Awesome to see, love the content! Where do we submit scams? I keep on getting calls from Google to “confirm my business account”.
I did something similar to what he did on the old IMDb Messageboards when I had two socks, Karice and Chone Wilson. Chone was an Asshole and a Jerk and Karice was nice and sweet. 🤣 I stopped posting as Karice for a couple of days, I think I said something like,"I'm going on vacation for three days." I still continued posting as Chone. After the three days, I started posting as Karice again. A Poster asked Karice,"How was your vacation?" CHONE WILSON responded,"My vacation was good, thanks for asking. 😀 The Poster responded,"Uh, Chone, why did YOU answer the question I asked KARICE? Oh crap! I forgot to log out as Chone and log back in as Karice. Other Posters also noticed this. I made up a VERY lame excuse and claimed I got Karice and Chone Wilson mixed up. Posters were like,"Chone, how could you get Karice and yourself mixed up? And besides, Chone, you didn't go on vacation. You've been here all along!" Other Posters agreed. I finally came clean and admitted to being both Karice and Chone Wilson. 🤭🤣 Posters had a good laugh out of that one! 🤣🤭
Wow Ben!! Now I understand your comment to me. It is crazy how people double down. Even AFTER they are caught..TWICE! Nice work spotting the insta mistake. He wanted a fast pay out, so fast that he forgot to cover his own tracks! It is a shame people are not up front, This could have gone very differently for him and you. Much love, it is going to be a good year!
Never feel bad for any scammer. I who cares if they are scared of someone. Should of not started scamming people. Its's no ones fault but his own if something would happen to him or his family
Good grief! They just can't help being scummy scammers! That flip of the chat, it showed up in court, AH/JD case, it was hilarious when the defending attorney drew attention to it!
Yeahhhh!!!!! Love that you gave the 4k to your REAL FRIEND, and your ending comments -- because your other "friend" likely watches your videos still. Great response! Sorry to hear that greed has cost all this unnecessary drama though. 😞
A lot of people deserve second chances, but definitely not a third chance. I live the baseball "Three strikes," rule philosophy, not the "Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me," philosophy.
I actually had something like that happen to me 2 yrs ago. A girl whom I met on snapchat we became fast friends, but after a month I started to catch on to certain things, she was a scammer. She is someone who would ask for money saying it cost $30 then she'll call 2 more times and say she keeps getting the price wrong and ask for more money and item that cost only $30 was now $100. When you question her about it she'll start screaming at you because she hates being questioned, in reality she knows your on to her B.S. She lives 8 hrs from me, one morning I got text from her saying she was there in the city I live in. But she wouldn't tell me where she was at and every time I would ask where she was at she just say "OMG this place is the devil". Then she said someone was going to text me and don't get the Police involved, I knew right there and then it was another one of her B.S. things. Long story short the person text me saying shes been kidnapped and they want a lot of money for her but, if i can get him 1K he can sneak her out. I knew right away it B.S. They said dont called the cops because they scanners on and they know and they'll kill her. I straight out told them I don't believe this crap and so find someone else to scam. The person got pissed and cussed me out and bunch other stupid stuff. I just blocked them afterwards. And of course she blocked me on insta, snap, and my phone number afterwards. One way I knew it was B.S. was because her name is Ivette and the who text me spelled correctly, anyone who would of just met her would have spelt her name Yvette.
I loathe to say it,but some people are irredeemable because they cling to the pursuit of earthly possessions and perceived power. Backstabbing seems to be the narc/sociopath attack of choice. Just wicked, twisted souls on the mortal coil. Let's be our best to counteract them as Ben does as well as his colleagues and equals, by being lovely quality humans. What a pathetic "life" the scammers and thieves lead. Be well everyone, and thanks a million Ben lad.
I thought that this was gonna be a video about how people's messenger apps got hijacked asking anyone in your friends list a few questions that help them hack their account. Happened to my mom recently but she was surprisingly witty enough to realize something was suspicious and she contacted me (I'm basically the family's "tech" guy)
@@IHaveBadWiFiBro Oh, been answering a few in the past? Now they've got you on their list, to sell to other scammers. Try not to respond to spam, scam, scummers.
All scammers are snakes. I have had my own scammer friends turn their back on me after nights out partying and paying for everything. In the end, it was best just to block them and do my own thing even if it means I have to party by myself which saves me a lot of money and gives me less headache. It's best to stand by myself rather than stand with snakes 🐍
It's amazing how much scammers will quadruple down on their lies. Such as swear to a god, shame you, cry, etc. There is no low they won't happily dive to.
Dude got bit by the greed bug. Maybe he figured he could become a scammer like the ones he helps take down, but I don't think he realised how sophisticated those scammer operations are (because they mostly seem quite stupid).
Thank you Pleasant Green, Your channel has made me aware of many types of scams that people will try to pull on us, A scammer was trying to impersonate one of my Facebook friends, and thanks to your videos, I knew almost instantly it was a scam, Thank you :D
The fact that you don't click bait, don't ask people to like your videos and subscribe and most important don't support shady company like Aura for easy money easily makes you my favorite youtuber.
I love Pleasant Green, but he did support Established Titles briefly, so him not supporting shady companies isn't exactly true, but I'm glad he doesn't anymore. Edit: And he was sponsored by Aura in his latest Illuminati video.
@@gaaraxnaruPleasant Green does make mistakes, but when Posters are like,"That's actually a SCAM that you are supporting, Ben listens and stops supporting that scam and apologizes. 😀
A sociopath is always a sociopath. Research shows once you pass the stage of brain development for a "conscience"; you cannot develop it. Notice too, how he chose a quick scam over a long term steady income. Glad you were able to spot his scam.
How disappointing. A boss who is from India once told me a saying they have "You give them a finger but they want your whole arm." Or something like that & sadly it's true. Your heart was in the right place. I'm just sorry they tried taking advantage after all you did for them 😔
Ben is probably one of the most wholesome people in the scambaiting community and it kinda hurts to see him being scammed. Let Pierogi finish him for good
You meant to say let Pierogi finish the scammer for good, but the way you write your post makes it seem like you're saying that Pierogi should finish BEN for good. 🤔 You might want to edit the post. 💡
