Hi Paul I think your room was quite nice. It seemed to have everything that you needed with the exception of the USB sockets. You seemed happy with the bed and bathroom and they looked okay to me. The lounge area was spacious with nice armchairs. You said the staff were nice and helpful and that's good. I think the cost actually was okay in my view.
I've stayed there once, prior to getting an early pick up for a coach break to London, also had pre theatre dinner there and have also attended a Christmas function. Nice, central hotel. Glad it didn't let you down
It looks like a lovely hotel even as it stands now , it will be fantastic after a refurb , breakfast looked great , not a bad price, I would definitely stay there , thanks Paul for a lovely video .
This is a brilliant review, lovely to see a bit of Liverpool, I love it there and it has a vibrant art/music scene. I absolutely loved the Liner hotel I thought the nautical theme was tastefully done (cute portholes) shame there was no one in costumes I love a man in a naval uniform! The room for that price was great a bit of wear but nothing to write home about. I envied your brekkie I could almost taste it. The en suite was really good. Thank you Paul wonderful as ever 😊x
Hi Paul. The room you stayed at the liner hotel looks quite nice actually close by to Liverpool lime Street station and also the theatre. Next time I'll visit Liverpool I might try there for 1 night. Always enjoy your videos
Stayed in the Liner couple Christmas’s ago… very nice, friendly, clean, quiet, although the lift confused me, got in & ended up in the service one & came out in the bottom next to the kitchens & laundry 😂 I’d stay again though great hotel
1.51 Henry makes an appearance 😂😂great editing BTW Paul. 👌 your t-shirt matched the curtains (I know😂the little things in life) what a fab review yet again. Thank you x
Hi paul hope your well. In your home city of Liverpool. I've heard of thus hotel paul so pleased your checking it out for us. We're thinking of visiting Liverpool soon. Ann in Cumbria. 😊😊😊.
The hotel is basied on a liner ship hence the name. My wife and I have stayed here several times and it doesn’t disappoint us. Staff are always friendly in fact they will do anything for you.
Nice hotel, good central location, price ok, but a bit on the higher end but its city prices so guess average, i liked the bathroom for not being all white, liked the shape of the sink unit, different, and the colour was warm 😊
I've found with those card slots that any store card (or card with a magnetic strip) also work the card slots (they do in Premier Inn, not tried other places though). Just saves any potential embarrassment of forgetting your card when leaving the room. Obviously you only then need to remember your store card (or whatever card you've put in) when you leave.
Hi Paul, This hotel was very good, nice and clean. Great customer service makes all the difference. Would definitely stay there. Price was okay. Thanks Paul.
0:47 14:56 That's a great hotel 🏨 , it will be so lovely to go back when they have done a fully refurb, and do another review for everyone else Paul , the breakfast looked ever so nicely presented as well , the price it fabulous as well, Thank you Paul for your wonderful reviews about this central hotel, it's in a good area for lime Street station, And the cavern club area as well as Liverpool one shopping area , many Thanks Paul ya friend Rodders 🤘🎸👑😎😁
Thanks for showing us around Paul. not stayed here, but many years ago, I came to a Christmas office party in the function room and had a brilliant time. It reminded me of the Marella Discovery cruise ship we went on last year. You will have to go back when it's had the refurbishment. It's not bad for the price you paid, but it will obviously go up in price when it's been done up.
The hotel does kind of look like a ship and yes it does look dated but I would stay there as it looks really clean. Great video Paul, keep the great work up...
Did this used to be called The Gladstone, Paul? I think it did. Great value for money for the city centre. I’d definitely stay there. Thanks for another belter. Best wishes. Neil.
Never been to your lovely city yet but looks cosy and comfy if u were going to a show or concert your jokes get me everytime with the hair dryer and bodybuilding shampoo xxxxc
The only problem you have is no PowerPoints if you're going to charge any anything up you're going to have to unplug the kettle and do it that way maybe they're going to install some after the refurbishment
hi paul used to stay there in the 80,s when i worked at lever industrial at port sunlight .the chairman had his annual dinner/dance there and paid for everything ,great place and a cracking party, forgot what is was called back then .do you know
Looks like a nice hotel Paul. Reception looks really bright and welcoming. Bar looks nice too. How quirky are the function rooms! Thank you for the video.
We stayed there 2 nights great location theatre. Our family room was ok bit scruffy needed tlc. Pipes in my sons room that made a very loud noise constantly. Would stay again but different room. If your room at front near conference function room you can hear noise late on if there do on. If your at back you get noise from train station. There was only one lift working out of two really slow when we were there. We had a lot damp wall marking too. No plug points side of bed pain.
you would think ,if a twin room for one person was 79.oo, then for two, it really should be the same. there would only be an extra towel, hopefully, and another set of sheets.
Even though we are from Liverpool and still live here,me and my mrs have stayed at the liner a couple of times when we have gone the empire and have made it extra special by booking a room.we have booked again next year when we go to see only fools and horses the musical, touch wood we have enjoyed our stays and hope it's same next time.only thing i didn't like was the yolk in my fried egg at breaky,it was hard it has to be soft😅
Please do not take this the wrong way as we are Tourists my friend is traveling from the UAE to visit Liverpool as he's a big fan of the club but is concerned about racism as one of his friends was abused in London when there, is there anything he can do to not cause any abuse or stay away from?
