Yes and also remember in times past how we slipped on banana skins with lesser teams and showed up like we should when facing City or others toward the table's top. So, in a way, our record thus far makes a case for us having dealt with this past weakness and correct me if I'm wrong, we rarely if ever get handed our asses by a City or the Gunners even when we draw or lose. Plus, think of it this way too...having this easier than expected start, it's sort of like extending pre-season to get ready for big games.
I think that the whole 'lesser teams/banana skins' thing is somewhat of a false narrative though. Most of our dropped points last season were to decent sides. Aside from the derby, which is always something of a roulette experience, the only loss that we had against a rubbish team was Palace. In terms of draws, it was only really Luton. 2 draws with City, 2 draws with United, a loss and a draw to Arsenal, a loss to Tottenham, a draw with Chelsea. That's a lot of lost points, mainly against top six sides.
I misswd this video when you published it (hate the phrase dropped). Our defnce is 2nd to none I never thought we would be watching Konate week in week out for us. He has been like a new signing for us. I have always know he has quality & an incredible abilty but to it & him in action every single game is a testament to & his backroom staff. Konate is playing alonhside imo the best centreback in the world & he is watxhing learning & producing game after game. I am finding it hard to see any team scoring more than 1 goal against us. We are so difficult to break down & we are not giving up many easy chances & when we do it is normaly from a mistake that we have made. Enjoying your content so much. 97

I'm flabbergasted that someone seemingly thought that even with our reasonable set of 1st fixtures, that City and Arsenal would be down on 13 points and we'd be 3 points clear 🤔 City are usually projected to take maximum points from practically every game.
they come into their own second half of the season unless you're ahead by 7-9 pts and matching them. then they fall off like 19/20. title is won mid feb onwards.
xGPhilosophy is worthless twitter garbage though and their model has been shown to be flawed. Their "expected points" table is worthless. That's not to say that we haven't had a good start under Slot. Just don't read too much into that table though.
Love your channel. Red is the most beautiful colour. At Feyenoord we have put a little white with it but still...... Slot as a manager can inspire players to function differently than before. Moderate players at Feyenoord became material for the National Team. When the opponents get stronger, Feyenoord became better.

You can lose against 2 or 3 title candidates. BUT, you have to win against lesser opponents. Most top teams drop points here and there. I believe that Slot can let Liverpool win the PL. But, now everyone is surprised. Give the team and Slot also credit if they lose some games. He's not God, cause that's me.😉
