With the next Smash Ultimate dlc character being confirmed to come from Arms, the more I thought about it, the more I was like "wait that edgy green-haired lady that I like actually has a decent chance to make it".
Dr. Coyles her name. Had to look that up initially because I forgot due to me being a fake gamer girl arms fan, but shhh that's a secret.
I had somewhat of an understanding of Coyle's place in the arms lore before this but Sarcasmus videos really help clue me into just how much Arms lore there is, and I would have been much less confident in my assertions if I hadn't watched them

FINALLY ! Another culturated individual that wants Coyle in smash. Lets be honest she would be quite unique with that invisibility and floating, also ye she is pretty much the only one that having the Headlock boss atached on would make sense

Exactly. Plus, what better character to represent ARMS and the fact that "this fighter is unique for their extendable arms" than the character who *can literally punch with 3 arms at the same time?*

I agree but do you realize how much invisibility is a stupid idea ? The invisibility has to be fair so the other player can see you and see yourself. In return, the invincibility will be so bad that the other player can easily see you with some practice making it in result, a useless move

Well i think back in arms you could still see coyle but not completley. Point is invisibility can be really hit or miss in fighting games. A good exemple would be Arakune form Blazblue, you can still see it but you can't easly tell what move is he gonna use

There's a problem with the villain choice. As far as I know, all villains in Smash have had to have their franchise's hero/protagonist in the game first. But who knows, maybe this'll be a first.

Wish this would be correct. But my prediction is that they will announce ARMS 2 with a new protagonist in order to promote the game. That will be the new character. .

I completely agree, I feel that most people that have played the game know the amount of potential and absolute power Dr. Coyle would have in smash bros and with her inclusion she would be the very first female villain in smash bros besides Wendy-O-Koopa I guess

I heavily disagree with that, I believe Assist Trophies, Mii Costumes and Spirits do have a chance now, I don't think they could've planned that far ahead who would be added in the future while taking into account the 1000+ things they were putting there. I could believe it for the first pass, but not so much the second onwards Except for event spirits and DLC Costumes... Since they're being recently added, that does seem to be because they aren't becoming playable any time soon...

Here are my 5 predictions if anybody cares: 1. Porky Minch We need more villains, we need more mother reps (who aren't ness) and the mother series soundtrack is kicking. 2. Shantae It may never happen but it would be lovely if it happened please let me have my dream pick. 3. Phoenix Write A massive series which has been on nintendo consoles since the beginning, and the first visual novel rep. Wacky movelist interesting with many possibilities, a easy stage and hundreds of tracks. 4. Travis Touchdown With the new game, and a really interesting moveset. This would delight fans and be a truly left-field pick. 5. Rhythm heaven rep Any of the would work though i do want karate joe, make his moveset a hodgepodge of all the rhythm games similar to game and watch. Tones of stage potential, and one of the best soundtracks. Please make it happen.

Interesting theory, tbh I feel you could be right tho I also feel Max Brass feels like the “Arms Guy” I mean the lad has a fist on his head, tho the dream could be a duo of Coyle and Max Brass where it can be a tag team where Brass does the major force while Coyle would be more methodical with more craft attacks maybe using some of her creations and stuff

i dunno about her tbh, she's a good idea tho, but like, i think of the arms characters, she might be one of the most different of them all and might not be prefered by sakurai to represent the game itself i guess

If I had to bet my money on any character to be in smash, it'd be porky mitch from earthbound and mother 3. He's a very important character/antagonist to the series, and he his lair (lack of a better term) pork city is a stage in smash. Plus he's the only space emissary boss that has NO spirit or boss appearance, and no the capsule is not it, it's the device itself before he went inside. And that seems strange to me, except the fact the last two characters revealed as DLC have been 1st party reps, so I truly believe porky has a shot.
