I'm guessing that there is an limit of people that can activate the bounty at any given time, and that the number isn't shown. By doing one more run he wasted too much time basically. It definitely had to do something with time, because he blamed his "one more run" on it, so it can't be him changing title and game to League before activating the bounty for example.
