if you want the weirdest criminal minds episode, you can watch any single one that is directed by Matthew Gray Gubler. he knows how to pick his scripts, and how to pick and direct his actors. :)
We couldn't binge back then. Lol. We had to wait every week to tune in. Lol. There's wasn't even a way to binge. We had to watch reruns on ion if we wanted to rewatch any. Lol.
@@ashleydavis2124 lol it was rough. You'd forgot what happened and ion would play random episodes where you had to try and figure out wtf when it ended on a cliffhanger. Lol. Tough times. Now I wait til the full season or 2 is out cuz I can't wait. Idk how I used to lol
@@Valerie-co8th rlly? I remember watching a random ep soo young it stayed with me forever until I watched it all before the pandemic 😂 i barely got lost I haven’t done a rewatch in a while I just never remember the ep numbers and names that’s for any show for me 😭
@susannariera I know he is all of those things, but still, the fact that in the 15 years this show was running, almost all of the best episodes are either about him or directed by his actor is an insane statistic, almost improbable.
This is one of the toughest episodes to watch and one of the best! The creepy woman who was abducting the kids is played by an actress named Beth Grant. She is an amazing actress with over 400+ credits to her name. She plays creepy, freaky, uptight and sometimes religious characters incredibly well! And she's an absolute sweetheart in real life!
13:13 the episode name “Mosley Lane” is based off of a lullaby Do you know the Muffin Man. Fun fact about that lullaby in the early 18 or 19 hundreds, children sang a song about a muffin man that lived on Mosley Lane to warn other children of him because the story goes that he would kidnap kids, kill them and bake them into his muffins. back then most lullaby’s were warnings for children and most of them were made as warnings against Serial Killers but now they’re all cute and friendly.
Another one that could be interesting would be Soul Mates. It's a simple plot, but the way the episode is structured makes it really interesting! In the same vibe, A Shade of Gray is also an interesting episode to watch!
I recommend season 4 episode 21 called ‘A shade of Gray’ ( the ending will have your jaw in the floor). As many others have mentioned, season 3 x 5 called 7 seconds is a great suspense one. Also seasons 7 episode 22 called ‘ Profiling 101’ (it provides a great depiction on how they build their profile to detain the Unknown Subjects or Unsubs).
Some of the most exciting episodes for this concept are 2-parters (season finales/premieres) that would be required to watch both for the full story and sometimes have little to do with the show’s main characters’ storylines
Columbo, in the 1970s was the first series famous for not being a Who Done It. It was presented in a 90 minute format showing the murder first. Then Columbo worked the case. So it was How's He Gonna Catch 'Em? Almost all the episodes were self-contained so a random pick will work for your channel. Columbo was and still is immensely popular, as Peter Faulk was given fewer yearly episodes with higher budgets to make sure he wouldn't quit the series altogether. The murderers were A and B list celebraties of the time and guesting on it was about as prestigious as a TV role could be.
Hopefully you’d react to the most popular episode of the show Aka the 100th episode where shit hits the fan and you’ll about to see why, Also Fun Fact this episode was actually directed by Matthew Gray Gubler the actor who played Spencer Reid and this was his first episode to direct for the show
I think to experience the full emotional weight of that episode, he would have to have gone through the seasons and gotten familiar/close with the team
@@xtraitorjoex but you need so much more than just omnivore for context, he doesnt only appear in omnivore but also later on before 100, also being attached to characters is a huge part of 100,, for example he has not even met two important characters there so i still don't think its a great episode for a random watch
If I remember correctly, this ep was directed by fan favourite Matthew Gray Gubler, his vision definitely added to the depth of the already profound script.
man, i would love to see you react to Bones too!! I feel like you could really vibe with the team in that lol I really like the Man in the Fallout Shelter, The Double Death of the Dearly Departed, The Graft in the Girl and The Knight on the Grid Honestly it has so many good episodes!
I just watched your part 1 for the first time a few weeks ago. I wasn’t sure if you’d ever post a second one. Of course the second part is my favorite episode!!
If you want a CM episode that is not about kidnapping kids, try Minimal Loss; it's really good. If you want a whole show dedicated to solving missing victim crimes, watch a random episode of Without a Trace (fantastic show that no one ever reacts to).
The Lesson is another good episode. Although I agree with others that some of the best episodes are two-parters...I highly recommend watching the Part 2 episode after the previous episode you watched where Garcia was shot.
omg an episode that is absolutely COOKED that would be good for a reaction is the lesson, season 8 episode 10. i got my sister to watch that episode bc it’s just insane 😭
Its the fact that there is no clear, concise reveal as to why the abductions began/continued that has haunted me for years. I was about 10-11 when i saw this episode. "He was alive yesterday?" absolutely destroys me every single time, no matter what.
And, for a truly heartbreaking episode which is also a standalone story without spoilers on the main characters, watch season 4/22, "The Big Wheel". Alex O'Loughlin is absolutely spectacular, I cry every time 😢
If you want a funny episode, I would watch season 7, episode 4 called “Painless”. But if you want to stick with shocking episodes, I would say season 3 episode 5 called “7 seconds”.
I hope he knows he doesn't need to joke his way through serious shows like this. He can just relax and react. This show has funny moments, but mostly it's intense, and we fans like it that way. He is a funny guy, though; very likeable.
Bro........ I've never seen your channel before. For some reason, at 4AM on a Thursday morning, this shit got recommended to me. Somehow, when you were dancing around saying the comments and your sister recommended this episode to you, somehow my mind immediately said "Mosley Lane". What does that say about me?
Season 4 Episode 25: "To H3ll... And Back, Part 1 (To H3ll) Season 4 Episode 26: "To H3ll... And Back, Part 2 (...And Back) when i think criminal minds this episodes it's what i remember first
