I misinterpreted this as watching movies that were on the dark web, and was wondering just how you got thirty minutes out of what I assumed were snuff films
I thought the same thing, though having seen some actual "dark web movies" before, was going in more expecting a bunch of really shitty homemade horror movies or compilations of creepy video clips grabbed from around the internet. Guess the first of those two was still kinda true 💀
I'll probably come back and watch this video later, but I just thought I'd drop in and compliment you on the good thumbnail! Hope you're doing well GG!
I was so sad when it stopped. But then I wondered how he'd be able to do Hitler's verse without it getting really sketchy really quick Lol Probably best that he cut it where he did 😅✌️
I’m not even sure how they can pull off a true dark web movie without making it one of the goofiest things possible. I’m sure there’s a way, but it’s hard to see one lmao
I think something more mockumentary style that stays true to what actually exists in this world would be far more effective that, "Ooooo, spooky website ghost!" Nothing beats reality
I think you could make a really interesting mystery horror movie with the dark web. Maybe something like a dude discovers a real red room and finds out it's someone he knows being held there and has to go hunt them down to save them using all the spooky dark web services.
"Do you have another gun?" "No, but I have this!" *Procedes to open drawer that clearly has another firearm and hands him a pocket knife.* I haven't watched this movie (and probably won't). But Shadow Monkey is a treasure.
08:30 I also love how "distorted creepypastas with random footage" translates to "1920s and 1930s movies with after effects filters... specifically Freaks and Nosferatu"
GG, this is a serious idea. YOU should make a horror movie. 100%. The reason they are so plentiful is because they are cheap as shit to make, and they almost always turn a profit. That new Exorcist movie turned a profit before it even opened in theaters due to selling streaming rights and such. And given the quality of your writing and editing in your videos... yeah, you could absolutely make a profitable horror film. I'd hit the theaters for it.
I think "Talk to Me" was the exception rather than the rule when it comes to RU-vidrs making horror movies. Although I would of course support GG if he did try to make one, I would never hold my breath on a RU-vidr movie being any good, no matter who does it.
@@mGigix Yes, although I was not talking about RU-vidrs making movies but about RU-vidr making actually successful good movies. And of the top of my head there is only Talk to Me that falls into that category. Correct me if I am missing a good RU-vidr movie, please.
My experience with the deep web was a lot of bordem and confusion. I don't understand why people suggest its scary or traumatizing. Scamming is a huge thing but thats literally never acknowledge by these RU-vidrs. H&R Block gave me more awareness of it than any RU-vidr covering the topic
Yeah, the deep web really hasn't been a thing since they invented burner phones that the FBI can't trace. Now if rich people want to order more crimes they just call up their buddy, with no reason to put on their nerd-gloves and interact with the plebs.
True for the most part you're not going to see a lot of the more degen crap unless you know how to find it (not redrooms they're FOS if you found one it'd be more like a fedroom) but rockspiders do use it to share disgusting crap. Just not openly for obvious reasons.
It can be. It was more crazy back in 2008-2015 but once silk road 1.0 was taken down, things are not as creepy. It's mostly just just drugs and hit jobs.
The only scary element about the last movie is the dude being called Griffith Edit: GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRIIIIFIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIITH
I kinda found it scary when G here was like "Why is she freaking out, why does she care?" I wish I could be so desensitized. "Not pleasant to look at", that's a cold ass take 😅
Damn I was actually hoping for a full length rap battle when you started going in like that. I think that could be a sick way to introduce a surprise guest they just bust on the set and everyone goes nuts. Maybe you were right for not having the hitler, but in some other context that would be dope as hell.
These movies always fall on the same mistake, getting into the red room bs. To clarify: you can't watch or stream video on the dark web, doing so tracks and leaks your local information (thus beating the whole point of using TOR for anonimity)
11:42 no one asked but thats an axolotl. they come from a single lack in Mexico and they are basically a permanently premature salamander. They are endangered naturally but they survive pretty well in captivity so there big in pet trade for something "exotic but simple "
Just to expand a bit (no hate I love seeing axolotl appreciation!): It didn’t use to be on e lake but unfortunately due to the expansion of Mexico City Lake Chalco was drained. Now they only reside in Lake Xochimilo (not really a lake) but are still under a huge threat due to pollution in the water and invasive species. Also unlike other salamanders they are neotenic, meaning that they retain some juvenile traits into adulthood! As far as pets go they aren’t simply, they’re actually quite complex and can require a lot of maintenance. They do make great pets though, they tend to have a lot of personality!
There are so many interesting stories you could tell with a well researched, well written dark web horror movie. But it seems the main thing missing is motivation, and ANY level of realism to anchor you to the plot. This is like "hacking into the mainframe" level of bullshit.
@@RyvrStyx To be fair, the dark web is easy AF to access, but you're on the dark web... so while you may be able to order illicit substances, or log in to torture porn... You have no idea how much of your information is being traced back to you unless you 100% know what you're doing. Or if you're just getting scammed if you decide to pay for anything. There are somewhat trusted repositories of "safe" dark web sites, but safe is relevant on the dark web.
The absolute worst thing about GG videos is while watching them ill bust out laughing and say "this is what im gonna comment on" but then I keep watching and you keep raising the ante that by the time I finish the video I cant comment on any specific thing because it would be a dissertation. Thanks GG. Fave channel without a doubt. 😂
Love the live reactions GG, and excellent work on the video as a whole (as per usual). I'm pretty sure that fish from the first movie might have been an Axolotl. Could be wrong about that though. And, from what I could gleam, the Murdershow clowns went after people because Dark Web. That's it. They evil, therefore just main everyone. Are we really expecting a whole lot from a Tubi horror movie like this?
That whole idea of having a RU-vid channel made by a character in a movie was actually done pretty hilariously by a character from the show What We Do In The Shadows. It's a cool Easter egg for the show .
"-although I don't know who would be cooking hungover." People who *were* drunk and are *now* hungry lol. We've all been there. Always excited to see a new upload from you, especially during spooky season! Thanks for a fun watch!!
That last movie 100% was written by AI I guarantee it The way the sentences were structured with their "aforementioned afterparty" and "telltale signs of a police investigation", ain't no way that's actually written by a human
That would also explain the weird "I forgot to mention there was a video called 'Murdershow'" line when she said the site was called 'Murdershow' already.
It still kills me you wear the same glasses I had in 4th grade. I am an old man. It's a whole thing at my age. Your editor is killing it in this episode. No lie. That little jiggle jiggle slide in at the opening of the "iceberg", nicely done. But placing memes in the monitors and shit? Dope. Love it. Wendigoon and SOG in the same video, with at least one in the movie itself? Yes. Wait, that's it? That's the end? Dude eats an axolotl and just...pauses? Fuck off movie.
The idea that people have of the dark web being this spooky place where you can hire hitmen and watch torture livestreams will never stop being funny to me. I used to think that when I was like 16 before I actually went on the dark web and realized it's 90% just people looking for some drugs 💀
Bro, first time viewer here. Your editing, jokes, and your script are amazing. I literally LOL’d which is rare for RU-vid channels to do for me. You more than earned my sub🎉
I thought about it some more, and... I feel like the Wendigoon movie will probably start out as a generic deep web movie about a youtuber who does that kind of content, and just be full blown John Wick by the final act.
The production value of this guy videos are amazing. I'm honestly impressed with how much you grown as a content creator my dude. Much love from Brazil.
21:45 I don’t know the name of the guy who plays shadow monkey off top of my head but he’s in a lot of low budget horror films with generally not fantastic acting, and he’s honestly delightful, usually saves the scenes he’s in a little bit, I don’t know, he just has a sort of naturally funny delivery (a little exaggerated in this movie but you get the idea lol).
Got to love that murdershow's ending takes place in broad daylight outside in what I assume is some sort of parking lot. Don't know what could go wrong there
Tim Burton included these Russian dog experiment videos in one of his special edition versions of Nightmare before Christmas. Which also included a live action version of Frankenweenie. These are the things I watched as a kid😅
Was just thinking to myself today “I feel like it’s about time for a new GG review.” And sure as the sunrise, my man delivers. Bro’s faster than Amazon out here.
I love that you haven't dropped the Kung Pow: Enter the fist siren cry! Also, I think a mystery box movie where everything is haunted would actually make an okay movie.
"what comes to mind when you think of the dark web?" That time Mista GG roasted an entire RU-vid trend with his video exposing the "mystery boxes from the dark web" videos lmao
God the gag of going "No I don't have another gun" then blatantly showing the other gun and STILL giving the other dude a knife instead was much funnier than the movie deserved or should've had for the mood
WAIT!? THAT EMAIL FROM PAYPAL SAYING THEY OWED ME 1K IS NOT REAL? HMMM MAKES ME WISH I HADN'T GAVE THEM ALL MY PRIVATE INFORMATION! I HAVE THE VPN SO THANKS NORD
GG my friends and I watched the original Suspiria last night and I don’t think you’ve reviewed it before but we were crying laughing at how 70s campy it is. It does have some great moments (the scene with the blind piano player was unsettling af) but my god we were screaming at the goofy acting and the nonsensical storyline. 10/10 recommend for a fun watch and impeccable vibes. I definitely want to watch the 2013 remake and see how it compares.
I think a pretty good idea for a deep web movie is having it where a drug dealer tries to make it big on a marketplace site, all the while law enforcement are on his tail. At least it's way more plausible (as it's happened before), but can still be just as action packed and not nearly as goofy as trying to use red rooms at this point. Points to the last movie for Shadow Monkey though, I have no idea what he's going for but he's at least entertaining til the end.
It's a win-win because we know the whole goal of social media is hey doesn't matter if it's bad or good as long as it gets attention all attention is good attention even if its bad attention trying 2 get good attention at the end of the day its all about attention
Don’t know if or how often you take recommendations, but I’d be very interested in your take on “Landmine Goes Click” (2015). It’s a great concept that was questionably executed. Thanks for the continued great content!
THE DARK WEB By Yasir: On this beautiful evening, Yasir turns on his PC to work but he seemed to be baffled when clicking on Chrome. The whole page blinded his pupils with sharp white color that stung his brain so he quickly went to the C O G W H E E L E in the corner and turned on dark mode. Fin.
"People who have accessed the deep web have suffered severe traumas, great depressions, and even gone as far as commiting s**cide' - Hard cut to Muta's latest video looking at the new COD and saying it looks like dog cheeks.
