the fact that the whole camp cancelled mitchie all because she simply lied about her mom’s job was the textbook definition of overdramatic. they acted like they never lied before. and it was so stupid for shane to get mad at mitchie when the lie had nothing to do with him

the fact that billy said in the beginning (2:16) "okay don't tell me she's gonna be the missing piece to help clean up his act" and literally shane sings to mitchie "you're the missing piece i need"😭

Bro, as soon as Billy said he liked “I Gotta Find You” I was ready for that final song so he could go wild and sing his big headed heart out. Loved that song as a kid and still do even though people clown on it now, the simplicity makes it stick in my head.

13:06 Fun fact from a voice teacher! The reason her tongue looks like that while she's singing is because it keeps it flatter in the back of her mouth, so it doesn't block her throat on the high belt notes. There's more space for the air to escape without as much effort on her part, and it keeps her from squeezing the note out and tensing her throat, thus keeping it nice and relaxed and open for the breath to comfortably move through. By squeezing/tensing, your breath can't be used as effectively, so the note will have nothing to ride out on. This audio in this scene is very obviously not edited the way most of her other songs are, and it really shows off what a technical vocal powerhouse she is and will grow to be. If you're ever trying to hit a higher belt in your chest voice (speaking range/not falsetto), try lightly pressing the tip of your tongue to the back of of your bottom teeth on the open vowel, and open your mouth around that vowel as much as you comfortably can. I still have so much Nostalgia for the movie that most of the songs are still good to me. Camp Rock was literally my whole childhood and I'm not even ashamed lmao😭💞

If this movie taught me anything, it's never to disown my family for the sake of friends. They did too much in this movie, but the message got across me as a young child. It had me in a choke hold.

The Jonas brothers were signed on Columbia records and did limited cds but they promo for it on nick and Cartoon Network but after the producer left they got dropped and then later signed for Disney and made it big and the rest was history 😊

I haven’t watched this since it first came out , not as good as I thought it was like 10 or so years ago but for a Disney movie it’s still not bad. Joe Jonas (the leader of the band) and Demi’s character was probably the best part of the movie . They did have good chemistry, especially when they was singing the duet together at the end. But funny how when they was first started coming as a band in the late 2000s early 2010s, Joe was the leader but nowadays Nick Jonas is the most recognizable one lol
