The only big problem that this movie introduces to the franchise that I immensely dislike is the marketplace right next to Alan Paris’ hut. He was stuck in the Jungle of Jumanji for 26 years, seemingly having no contact with civilization whatsoever in all this time in the first movie, but there were lots of people living nearby? The fuck?

Oh, that clears it up! I was so confused since Nat was credited for Paper Towns and Fault In Our Stars and Alex for the Jumanji movies on Google but he kept calling him Nat. 😂

Apparently Zathura is a "spin off" of the OG Jumanji bc it's a game but space. But yes fun film!

@@JackieWarner13 zathura is based off a book by the same guy who wrote Jumanji. It's often treated as a rip off or sad attempt at remaking Jumanji, but it's its own thing. The guy who created jumanji created zathura. Definitely could be called a spin off. I don't particularly like watching it, but it's well made in my opinion. And with an impressive cast.
