Saw it on Dolby last Saturday then the 70mm IMAX in a city one hour and half bus ride away. Going back next week😂 I would say Dolby has best sound and chairs vibrating makes the impact of the Trinity test unforgettable. But the 1.43:1 AR is a must see in70mm IMAX!

Yeah I saw it in normal 70mm film had to drive to another city to do it but it was worth it, visually it was amazing, but obviously it was screened in a standard sized movie theatre so I was missing a bit in the sheer volume and imapct of sound. This video basically convinced me to go see it in my local "liemax", can't wait to rupture my eardrums!

Yeah the use of sound overall in the film was amazing and so immersing. Those ripple sounds that play in his head throughout the film were so disturbing.

Agree that this is his best film made but not sure if it’s my favorite. Still have mad love for interstellar and the dark knight. Is this movie your favorite from him?

Yea sure it can be easy to go IMAX when you live in the US. But when there is only 1 IMAX cinema in your country and its located 220 miles away from you Its a bit hard to justify traveling that far just to see a movie. Not to mention all of the seats for the next 14 days are already taken. Also pretty good video for how small your chanel is. Good luck blowing up :D

It's only 220 miles dude. You're lucky. For me, nearest 70mm IMAX located 1734km away from me... And it's horrible don't to watch this film in that cinema(.

Well wiki says there are 3 i Kyiv. But they probably dont exist anymore or are just not working rn. Other than that there are venues in Riga or Krakow which should be closer to you but thats still a long way.

I watched last night at 5pm in IMAX, this movie was incredible. It is however a slow 3 hour run time.

@@thebrockoppside the only criticism I had was the time jumping. Oppenheimer and Eternals had the same problem too much time jumping makes it a little complicated to follow at times. Was that a problem for you too ?

@@tim27mc50There’s a lot going on and it can get hard to follow sometimes but I believe that the time jumping is the most effective way to tell the story because it involves investigations and a lot of the characters have to reference certain scenes

"Incredible" and "slow runtime" are usually conflicting opinions in my experience. I never saw where this was going to be an action movie. Assuming historically The bomb is only detonated one time

Watched Oppenheimer then straight to Barbie. Wasn't in the mood so I walked out after 10 mins. Walked into another screening of Oppenheimer instead 😂

Just go see it in regular screening. I watched it in IMAX and it made no difference. 90% of the scenes were courtroom drama and the explosion was extremely underwhelming. There's really no scenes that demand you to watch it in the big screen, unlike Interstellar. Don't fall for the IMAX hypes, the film was a huge let down.

I cannot understand why everyone saying this is Christopher Nolan‘s best film. I don’t agree with that at all. I think Steven Spielberg should’ve done this film thing so much better. It was three hours of dialogue with one nuclear explosion which was shit and it’s focused way too much on him losing his security clearance. There was so much more. I wanted to experience of Oppenheimers life, and who he really really was, and it was just all choppy. Nothing flowed properly. I absolutely loved the musical score. Of course I love the story of Oppenheimer and I understand it loved Albert Einstein loved Emily Blunt. She was great as Kitty in the end was fantastic that made me leave the movie with dread. It definitely is not as cool as it could’ve been way way overrated

Well, I kinda don´t think at that point in history diversity was that big, or woman´s rights for that matter. So the "all white male" heroes make sense in the context of the time the movie is depicting (especialy since it is trying to be historicaly accurate). But then again, I remember critique of a game saying that there were no black people. The game was set in 14th century central Europe.
