I Watched the LAST EPISODE of a Show I DROPPED (ONCE UPON A TIME edition) 

When did you start losing interest in the show… if ever🫣

Man I love rewatching the beginning of this show over and over and never getting farther than I did when I stopped

The thirst for Hook is neverending. That man was FINE 😩👌 (And I also just love him as a character, in any version)

I think my tolerance for this show was a bit higher than many--I didn't mind the Frozen stuff for starters. I quit because Gold failed too many chances of being good, and it felt like he was trapping Belle in a deceptive marriage.

Can we talk about how Regina literally got what she wanted at the end of the show.

OUAT is my ultimate comfort show of all. Whenever I watch it, I feel like I’m home. It feels so nostalgic and comforting, especially the first 3 seasons. I kinda wish they ended the story with the 6th season. I mean they could’ve just transported the whole Storybrook to the Enchanted forest, cause it always felt like at the end all the characters should return to their homeland. Season 7 felt so wrong, and I was confused half the time. In my imagination they managed to teleport the whole Storybrook to the Enchanted forest, so we never got the older Henry, Rumple is happily married to Belle and they’re raising a son, Emma and Hook soon will become parents to baby girl Hope, the Charmings are raising Neal and rule the kingdom alongside with Regina, all of the characters meet occasionally (for example, Ruby often visits Snowhite, etc). This is the perfect ending for me. But even though for me season 7 is non-existent, I can rewatch the show annually and I enjoy it every damn time. OUAT will forever be a part of me❤️

This is my favorite show of all time! I absolutely love this show so much! Of course season seven started out kinda rough but I genuinely got good about half way through the season. And the series finale was perfect. I sobbed through the entire episode since all the OGs were coming back. And then i sobbed for 2 hours after the show ended cuz I couldn’t believe it was actually over.

seasons 1-3 were great, after that it mostly went downhill (tho shoutout to the scene where belle makes gold leave town bc that was PERFECTION). also props to robert carlyle (who plays gold/rumple) for his acting through the entire show even when the writing for his character got pretty bad (i really like all the actors, especially lana parilla who played regina, but he stood out bc he had no reason to go that hard but he did)

To answer your question about whether or not Regina found someone else after Robin; she was actually with Dr. Facilier for a bit. But they didn't really do anything with that. EDIT: It's also super refreshing to see someone else who likes both Regina and Hook. So many people seem to hate one or the other because of shipping stuff. I've always been partial to Swan Queen but it's like ship and let ship.

Ok so… lemme explain. There are only two Henry’s. In the beginning of season 7, young Henry just graduated and goes through a portal to a new realm with Tiana and the bunch there and becomes older Henry. Only two. Alice’s father hook is wish realm hook but made to appear younger via blood magic. Understand now?

As someone who watched all of OUAT as it came out, it def kept me intrigued (even if I didn’t like a particular storyline/arc). Also I believe that the first 3 seasons are gold, and seasons 4-7 are a bunch of mixed bags with plenty of beautiful moments with not so great moments. I would, however, say that watching the entire show (bad parts too) was worth it and extremely satisfying. I think it helps that even if it was a bit bumpy, all the characters got their just deserved and satisfying happy endings. It started fantastic, kept it up for a while, hit some valleys and hills, but ends on a fantastic note.

See THIS is why you stick with the story through and through. It's like skipping chapters of a book. You don't get the full content and you end up asking questions. I can understand why people stopped watching the show. But at the same time, you're missing out by not taking the bad with the good. I'm glad I stuck through with it cause even though it wasn't perfect (What is ANY show really?), they did the characters justice and had a beautiful conclusion.

There were two versions of Hook. Seattle Hook was from a different realm. That hook had a daughter, Alice, with some other woman. In his realm Emma never existed so they never met or fell in love.

OUAT season one is an excellent show. everything connects together, everything makes sense; i think a lot of people (especially the younger audience, like myself) dropped OUAT after a while, it got so complex and plot-hole-y in later seasons, so i don't blame you 😅 also I AGREEE rumple and regina solo. love this video :D !!!! definitely subscribing ❤

Let me lay it out for ya. The beginning of the final season had Henry go off to explore other realms after graduation. Years later he gets Emma, Hook and Regina to join him to help with Cinderella of another realm. Wish Hook shows up and tries to replace the Storybrooke Hook, but is found out. Emma reveals she is pregnant so Henry makes her and Hook go home. Regina stays and Wish Hook joins Regina and Henry for the rest of the season. So the Hook you’ve seen with the cursed heart and daughter is the Wish Hook. (This bit is a little vague for me because I didn’t watch every Season 7 episode). But there was another curse that sent Wish Hook, Regina, Henry and Gold to Seattle, but in the past (set between Season 6 & 7). The coronation scene at the end is the present of Regina, Adult Henry etc. because Emma has had the baby by this point. Like I said, it’s a little vague because I didn’t watch the entire season. But I hope it clears up some of the confusion and someone will probably be able to refine/correct me where needed. Hope any of this helps.

I’m literally rewatching season 3 (I’m on the last 2 episodes of the season) and on the episode I’m on Regina and Robin are talking about the timing of their relationship and now I’m in tears because they had so little time together all thanks to Emma, Zelena and Hades 😭

I was also obsessed with this until I dropped it and never finished it !!! i begged my mom to pay for a netflix account just to watch it and she binged it with me, it was so much fun

I think the first time that I saw this show was when the first 2 or 3 seasons were put on Netflix. I used to love this show but I haven’t seen all the seasons still probably stopped watching it in season 4 I think. This was actually one of the shows that I lost interest in to. But seeing it again brings back so many good memories. Love your videos!

This show was always super special to me and it still is. Everyone hates the 4th season but personally, it's one of my favorites as well as seasons 1 and 3. I also enjoyed season 6 cause I loved watching Regina fight against her evil self.

Omg, thank you for this because I just couldn't bring myself to watch after the beginning of season five. Nice to know it at least wrapped up with my Queen in her rightful place. And of course Emma was there, swan/queen forever

if we're honest, seasons 1-6 are the only ones that matter lol season 6 was kinda meh, but the last episode would have wrapped it up perfectly. nothing will ever beat season 1 though!! 💚 + yes; hook, robin, + the mad hatter were THE eye candy on this show hahaha charming is just classically handsome! + yeah i bawled at the end lmao

The whole reason I started watching was I caught a glimpse of Rumple when my sister was watching and I immediately fell in love. I stopped watching in season 4 when Belle banished Rumple from Storybrooke because it broke my heart that they broke up. I bought all the DVDs last year because I just had to know if Rumple and Belle ended up together in the end and I was not disappointed. Love this series so much.

Was slowly having a fall out by the Neverland era and it was a little bit after the Frozen era that I gave up completely with only watching some clips online throughout the remainder of the show every now and again. Didn’t help that my network wasn’t showing it anymore tho lol. The first two seasons are my absolute favourite to watch even now. It’s a guilty pleasure.

No other show will ever have such complex, great and beautiful characterization and stories for its characters. Everyone was flawed up to a point but they all got there in the end, it was a crazy journey. I love Hook, Emma and Regina, with a special place for Rumple, they are my all time favorite characters and Emma/Hook are one of my all time favorite couples, their journey was everything I ever needed, they broke through any preconceived conventions of what love is, and their story wasn't just like that of Charming and Snow, it was more difficult, and there was never much speak of "true love", it was much more dosed in reality than all the other stories, because, technically, Emma is a 'real person', who grew up in the real world, so it made sense that she would have that kind of story, don't care for all the haters that don't like this couple, they can hate away, but for me, they were one of the best television couples I've ever seen, and for the most part, they are the reason I rewatch this show as often as I do

Girl, I feel you so hard with your love for Hook. I literally have a lil hook tattooed on me because I used to love him so much :') and I do not regret it one bit. Every time I see him again I feel validated in my sneaky Hook tattoo, bc that man is FINE!

While the show did get repetitive, I'd love for Disney+ to revive it and explore more characters and worlds, going beyond forests and small towns that we saw in most of the seasons.

Omg j didnt know u watched this show! When i was younger i watched all 7 seasons atleast 4 times! I felt like i was special because i didnt know anyone that watched it this is so cool!

Old Henry is the same Henry as the "graduation" Henry; after graduating, Henry left Storybrooke to go explore the magical realms, which is where he met his wife - another version of Cinderella (hence why he calls her Ella) in another realm. Because time is weird and because curses (I can't remember the EXACT reason - it's been a while since I watched S7 - but it's along those lines), to the inhabitants of Storybrooke, it hasn't been very long since Henry left and they still see him as an 18-year-old. So they are one and the same. There's only 2 Henrys - older Henry and Wish Henry. As for Hook - Seattle Hook is from the Wish Realm, he's different from the Hook that Emma gets together with ("Guy-liner" Hook). "Guy-liner" and Emma have a baby girl called Hope, while Seattle/Wish Hook had a brief thing with the Wish Realm version of Rapunzel, and had Alice (who is Alice from Alice in Wonderland).

For me it would’ve been a great ending if Rumple Belle and Neil all came together went to Regina‘s coronation but only Regina could see him for a split second

The REAL MAIN storyline was Rumpelstiltskin becoming someone who needed the dark curse, him finding/creating Regina to be the curse caster, and the fallout of those actions. That is the overarching story plot that tied everything together. They weren't just everyone's favorite characters who carried the show they also ARE THE REAL MAIN CHARICTERS. And neither of them really had what I would concidered to be a satisfying ending at the end of season 6. Only the surfice main characters (Emma, Snow, Charming & arguably Henery) pluss a few extras (like hook, geppetto, ect. ) had gotten thier happy endings. So although at first I thought like you, I ended up realizing they NEEDED season 7 for the real main characters story lines to have a chance to get truly earned Endings too.

Season 7 - Henry went his own way, got married and had a daughter. Some people from Storybrooke ended up in another curse so that's why she didn't age.

I had the same reaction to the whole "I'm cursing every realm so they all "get to" live in ours" idea. I thought it was soo presumptuous.

I'm glad you got to enjoy these last two episodes. While I don't think the last season was the worst of the show, it certainly wasn't the best. The last two episodes really were great, though, even if just because of all the nostalgia cameos.

I think I stopped around the Frozen Arc or the Oz arc. I don't know maybe because it was fun in the earlier seasons seeing all the old stories being brought to life and despite it obviously being a collaboration with Disney it didn't seem like a Disney production because it had a darker tone. Once it caught up to modern movies i thought they had a lot of room to expand the UOaT universe and intertwine new stories which was what made the show so good for me. However, it also felt like they were slowly running out of ideas or Disney was trying to cash in on some things because not only was Brave added, Frozen released, and Oz The Great and Powerful came out around that time as well I believe, but somehow The Princess and The Frog was pushed to season 7 even though you can argue Peter Pan, Alice in Wonderland, Wizard of Oz, and Princess and the Frog took place in the same if not a similar era in time, but that's a rant for another day. I think that's why when I eventually returned to the show and started season 7 I dropped it after a couple of episodes because I wasn't into the whole aged up Henry, New Cindy, and Cursed Seattle because it felt like a strange retcon and I couldn't imagine how they would relate this back to the original plot, but to know it wrapped up after one season means it was really just for closure and I'm glad the story ended as good as it started. I still love the show nonetheless and after this video I might go back and watch the show from beginning to end just to see if my opinion changes at all.

Emma and young Henry are also in the first two episodes of the last season. So it does start and end with the OG cast. The last season's story arc is very dark and fresh. Not as much repetition in terms of story arcs. I enjoyed this season more than I ever expected to. I'd definitely recommend watching it. The new characters and actors are very good also.

the first time I saw season 7 the first half of it totally dragged and it was jarring... but after binge watching it, the last season kept moving up the "my favorite season" list, it's in third place now... it grows on you. (even if cinderella was miscast to match the kid, bad decision there.)

Hook and Emma's daughter's name is Hope, that's why it was the last word of the show. Jennifer Morrison did appear in this season briefly earlier on there were scenes showing her pregnant with her Hook, worth a watch - I think it was 7x02 ❤

Young Henry is from Emma’s wish realm in the earlier seasons.

If I remeber correctly eyeliner hook is the original and the normal hook is an alternate verion who didn't go to StoryBrook and had a daughter and became old he wanted to replace eyeliner hook because he wanted his happiness. Then he became young again through magic and became good as well and found his own happiness and reunited with his daughter.

Okay so there was time travel and time Seattle was set in was when Henry was graduating like they mentioned. There are 3 Henrys. The other one is not around at the end because after henry graduated he went to another realm to find his own story. There, he had adventures, met his wife,had a kid. So there is wish realm Henry, grown Henry and Henry of the current timeline who is in another realm becoming his future self. Also the 2 hooks, one is the OG, the other is from the wish realm who is Alice's father.

I'd watch the entire series with you.

I stopped watching after the first rumple de-redemption arc? i just felt like we went through all that for nothing and i was pissed. Right before Anna and Elsa showed up.

This season is different I feel like watching the end of season six would be good too cause it wraps up more of what you’d remember then this is whole new stuff

The Wish Realm is from season 6 I think. I forget who, but someone wished that Snow White and Charming defeated Regina before she ever cast the curse, and that removed Emma from Storybrooke. Regina tried to get Emma to remember her pre-wish life by threatening to kill Wish Realm Charming and Snow, and then, kinda did it. Still not sure how Emma still met Neil and had Henry in a timeline where she was never sent to "our" world, and they never did reveal just how Regina was defeated. (my head-canon is that they succeeded in the Musical Episode) Also I think the Hook we see in season 7 is a third one. There's Prime Hook, Wish Realm Hook, and this Hook is from the realm where Henry had his adventures that we see in season 7's flashbacks. Apologies if someone else already said this, but I needed to nerd-dump.

I also dropped the show but always wondered what happened. It was confusing to me that characters started to get related, Rumpel being someones grandad (i dont even remember) en then some timeline jumping is when i dropped the show.

It had its faults but I still say OUAT had one of the best and most satisfying tv show endings of that era. It didn't leave me feeling like I wasted years of my life...*cough* vampire diaries *cough* *cough* Pretty little liars *cough*

i sorta slid out of watching it in season six but i got back into it and rewatched from beginning to end for killian and emma (my captainswan heart), and regina. though i did enjoy alt!killian, regina, and gold's dynamic in s7. lol. but gold's character constantly got me mad, like he would change then he would revert, then he would change then he would revert, and then again he would change then he would revert...like bro if regina can change and still get constantly shat on but still maintain her goodness, so can you. but still gold, regina, and killian straight up carried this WHOLE ASS SHOW, especially after jennifer left. also i sat through that frozen arc purely for killian and emma and robin and regina content. edit: also you simping over killian/hook, same girl, same. colin/killian is so damn fine.

Honestly season 7 is really good you should go back and watch it. It does have a different feel then the first 6 seasons but that isn't a bad thing. Plus Alice is definitely one of the best characters in the show right up there with Regina and Rumple
