I actually like that there are so many prequel episodes. When i fist watched the camping trip episodes i felt like there was way too much change on the character personalities, but being able to see everyone's prior headspace and how they got there really highlights those two episodes to me.
Funnily enough it’s thanks to cee over here i began to truly and Admitedly enjoy and have greater passion of this show, and came to the same conclusion! Make sure to share this comment more as he seems clearly interested to hear and expand his ideas through our voices! Bloke sounds nice! Same goes to you!
FUN FACT: In a lost episode, also named Raped, Agnes actually was going to have twins, but only succesfully aborted one, and everyone now knows she is pregnant, so it's to late. She takes the kids on a feild trip to the jail, where she meets a rapist that was bestfriends with her rapist. They get a marriage certificate approved, and almost get married, but the groom doesn't want to betray Cecil. She gets down in the dumps, and a police officer she met previously in the episode confesses his feeling for her. She turns him down until Plotwhist (Yes, the actual name) reveals that she is actually a woman (PLOTWHIST MAKES SENSE), and they start a lesbian relationship. Ther try to get married, but get denied because America. I'm glad that she kinda got a good ending, oh, and Orel was meant to be the ring bearer both times.
Fuck dude that sucks…the redeemable characters deserve a chance to become good people and have a good life 🥲 I would’ve loved to see some lgbt representation in moral Orel too that would be awesome, and it seems like a really wholesome story :) I really wish it was never canceled :(
I had a theory that they only did a bunch of prequel episodes since they knew the show was ending so they didn't want to build more into something they couldn't complete. They wanted to conclude it without building onto more things we'd probably want out of it. Idk but maybe
Well at first they wanted a spin off season called Moralton for season 3, about everyone and setting the show on town’s people instead of moral, but then they got told season 3 was their last so they had to change it back to Moral’s story sooner then they wanted.
@@theblacknexusyt I kinda think so, I’m not 100% but if they we’re already started on the molarton project when they found out they were getting cancelled, they probably already had episodes done it took them maybe a year to animate from it being stop motion. And looking at the time line season 2-3 was the biggest gap in between seasons with nearly a year from season 1 2005-06 season two 06-07 and 3 08. So more then likely animated the first episodes in 07 and had them ready by 08. But it does say 04/01/08 was the first premiere episode of seasons 3 and episode two premiered in 08/09/08 4 months later, so they probably showed adult swim in April the alone episode and got told this was their final season, so they re animated episodes to conclude the story and not have just do this spin off season as Moralton.
Grass is greener situation there, I'd say. In the short-term, yes, but in the long-term, it's arguable that neglect to the extent Doughey suffers may be at least as damaging.
@PickleRick66617You'd rather be spanked by an alcoholic father than a neglectful one? I think its situations like these that make it clear not everything is good to directly compare.
One of the most interesting things I've gathered from the episode was how Orel's trigger finger is actually caused by the things he dislikes. The last thing he shoots before the episode cuts to credits were a bottle of alcohol Clay was pouring. Which Clay instantly replaced and wasn't really angry about (unlike in Nature part 2 where the bottles Orel shoots at were his last two bottles). That moment really connects to the Nature two-parter pretty well tbh.
I think Reverend Putty and His daughter were the only decent parent and child relationship. Even before the final EP where we see Orel grow to have a loving family, Rev. Putty grew as a character. He tried making up for lost time and even told his daughter in the ep close face, her relationship (false) with doughys mom is in HS couldn't compare Orels relationship with Christina. He did say it bc his daughter was a lesbian but bc doughys mom didn't actually care about her.
Normally i hate watching reaction channels but i actually enjoy your content because you add legitemate commentary, dont just include the whole episode and make an effort to produce content, thanks for raising the bar CeeAyeJay.
Yeah, I don’t have much to say for this one. Just more showings of Clay being a crappy father. Doughey trying to get Clay’s approval at the expense of Orel isn’t a very nice thing, but it’s understandable why he would do it. In an odd twist he gets his comeuppance but it’s only to further Clay’s manipulation of Orel.
when you rember that clay and douhie have the same voice actor you simply cant look at that scene of them calling deputy and sherif multiple times without imagening the voice actor doing that to himself in the studio
For context, basic rules of gun safety: 1. treat it like it's loaded, even when it's not 2. never point it at anything you don't want to shoot 3. never put your finger on the trigger unless you're ready to shoot 4. always pay attention to what's beyond the target. Bullets keep going even when you miss Just thought I'd add that and recommend you watch the scene where Doughy meets Clay and Orel again. It's extra hilarious when you know that
This show has hit the nail on the head for how most adults are now days. All the bull crap we dealt with as kids have turned us into the worst versions of ourselves. But if we say anything about we are outcast.
The reason they didn't make any episodes set after the camping trip is because it fundamentally changed who orle is as a character and a person. I imagine he started questioning things in the town, the church and his family and overall growing up. As someone who went through similar realizations as i grew older in a small town it makes a lot of sense that they stopped. If orle isn't Moral Orle anymore then what good is there left in the town? Why would we care about this f-d up place if it weren't for the hope he provided us in it's salvation?
SPOILERS AHEAD I recently finished the series and did a little research turns out they wanted to make another season exploring Orles struggles with the church and becoming a (non-christian) mental head and punk along with Stephanie. Also the few episodes that did explore the aftermath were very satisfying.
I don’t remember much how the last season went specifically, but the whole prequel episodes builds to its conclusion where it really makes you feel down.
This episode let me realise that's why Doughey accept to kill orel in the episodie where he is the church I guess not even a naive kid like Doughey get save of been an asshole when the time is right xD
These prequel episodes aren't just showing us that Moralton is bad, but the thoughts and events ebhind these characters. Of course, it is terrible that they cancelled the show during a mostly prequel season, meant to build up the rest of the show. Wish they were given ATLEAST 1 more season so they could wrap up everything better.
so yeah the show got cancelled after S3, E4. But before then the show was gonna be renamed to Moralton and focus on the entire town. Orel's grandfather was also supposed to join the show till his passing but ended up in a one off prequel. Iirc it was gonna be 5 seasons
Bro I am so glad I found u fr, you have honest reactions and are visually entertaining, even though I’ve seen the show I still love these videos, can’t wait to see where this channel goes!
Orel bringing the gun to show and tell reminds me of a story i heard about my old elementary school where a kid brought his Grandpa's grenade to show and tell, it wasnt live but that was still wild to hear about
Dude, you're honestly awesome, I'm glad to be here and witness your insight on these things. Even though what you're saying is common sense, even though how you approach things is precisely how people SHOULD, it's relieving to see because you take the time to really be honest about your emotions and perspectives. You have a very powerful understanding of what you're reading and watching.
been waiting for this to drop. Ik you hear this prolly s hundred times but great work keep it up man. (I don't open my mouth if i don't genuinely mean it)
At first I thought they were adults who years ago married in high school making there relationship unable to mature because because they never got to have a separate Adulthood. This was because of an accidental pregnancy. Which does happen called SHOT GUN WEDDING. It is a marriage to repent of sexual sin and protect a woman's honor from being a outdated harlot and the child Illegitimate. Especially since Orel dad is 40 and they were in high school with Stephanie the Sex Store Owner when Reverend Putty had his own hair. But I was wrong because it was during an episode I heard they just did it for role play
Dude I never was happy till I watched these videos these shows are amazing oral and the show with blarg he's my favorite he's just psycho for son 😂 love your vids you deserve a million subs ❤ rock on man
Nah your super right though, the fact that it ended last season on such a cliff hanger just to basically completely ignore it in the next season is weird
I always thought that doughys parents were actually teenagers, and that’s why they acted like that. It actually makes it so much worse that they’re actually grown. How can you be so stuck in the past like that
Speaking of prequels once you finish the show there was also a few short disconnected episode call beforel orel:trust it was not quite as good as the shows episodes but it does expand the story a bit for a mini series
Did anyone notice how they made it so obvious how little clay cares he dident call out oral for gun safty. Because he pointed it at clay doughy and himself
Honestly I found these prequel episodes to be more enlightening. Because the creators said they wanted to introduce all the Charaters not just oral’s family. Each charater’s last correlated to who they turned out to be. Along with the fact that all these preluding episodes just shows the long awaited boiling point for Oral during the hunting trip. We get to see everything that was festering that made it so easy for him to finally stand up to his dad. At least that’s my perspective
