I haven't seen anyone mention this, but rip to kelly preston, who played Amanda's mom in this. She died of breast cancer in 2020 and was in other great movies. She was also married to John Travolta

Bride Wars is awesome. Couples Retreat i can already see Billy arguing with the couples and then being shocked by other scenes. Grease 1&2 are absolute classics and with the recent passing of Olivia he absolutely should react to it! #bingers

So not my favorite Amanda Bynes film, but by no means bad. That title would go to Sidney White. I thoroughly enjoy She's the Man, and her supporting roles in Easy A and Hairspray. It's sad what happened to her and I hope she has being receiving the help she needs.

one of my favorite movies. Even if it's cheesy, it holds up well and truly her best love interest in my opinion. This is my favorite Amanda Bynes movie cause it's one of her more serious roles, while still keeping that humor and quirkiness she had.

this is such a feel-good movie for me; I used to watch it over and over back in the day, not just for the amazing story but for the soundtrack as well. I really enjoyed how emotional you obviously got over the father-daughter dance toward the end. your daughter is so lucky to have you Billy. also, my 3 favorite cereals are Lucky Charms, Raisin Bran Crunch, and Count Chocula. ❤

As a Canadian who lived in England for 5 years, in my experience the closest thing they had to the hood would be council estates in poorer areas, a lot up north (that’s where I was, so what I saw most) and the younger troublemakers were known as yobs.

Colin Firth will always have a place in my heart haha. If you want a movie that shows the poorer parts of the UK I'd recommend Billy Elliot, it's set in the 80s when the miners went on strike and has Julie Walters in it! (Ron's mum from Harry Potter) #bingers

if you want to watch something with a 'hood' element to it that takes place in england, attack the block is a really unique, not too gory or scary alien action movie. i remember it being really funny, and just good character work.

"Is this the original princess diaries?" - just kind of blew my mind there, a little! Cannot believe I've never seen that comparison, hah! This was a movie my mom would watch all of the time with my sister and I when we'd go visit her. We still do the "I love you a million swedish fish" thing. One of those movies I never really see talked about, but one that means a lot to us and always makes me happy, seeing it. Glad you enjoyed it

Love this movie. But the fact that whatever that guys name is, that payed her mum to leave and not tell the dad that he has a kid. That made me so extremely mad. I've been to London before and I can tell you in London and around it there actually are 'project neighborhoods'. These fancy ass homes are there, but not everywhere. It's mostly terraced houses (what I saw at least). And I LOVED your Bridget Jones commentary!

Projects in the UK are called "council estates" (or council flats, if it's apartment buildings). Some movies I think you'd like that deal with poorer and/or seedier parts of the UK: Trainspotting, Billy Elliott, The Full Monty. Also Skins is a TV show but a) it was fucking wild, and b) the characters had a good mix of different income levels - I think you'd have a lot to say about it lol #bingers

Amma Asante the director of Belle (a period drama I love but very "rich england") started out as an actress on a show called Grange Hill which was set in a school with kids from lower income which was pretty "the hood" . Her first film A Way of Life is also set in a Welsh council estate. Watching both is 2 wildly different worlds but I reckon you'd love Belle. #bingers

This is in my top 5 favorite movies of all time. The number one spot is another Amanda Bynes movie She's The Man. But I've always loved this movie and it hurts me to see you talk about Oliver James like that Billy even if it's funny because I love him and I love his singing. I remember trying to put his songs on my mp3 and then later on searching iTunes for them to put on my iPod. I'm happy you enjoyed it Billy! Oh and Amanda Bynes was in a conservatorship for years and recently was let out of it, she does have some weird stuff going on with her boyfriend though. I love Amanda and I would love it if she acted again one day but I don't think she will.

I think in England, they're called council houses / council flats (apartments.) The English version of US housing projects. Off the top of my head, they're shown in the first Kingsman movie, the series Chewing Gum, Skins UK, and the movie MirrorMask.
