Why Did I Get Married Movie Description:
Reuniting the same charismatic cast and characters from his hit comedy/drama, WHY DID I GET MARRIED, Tyler Perry brings us the next chapter in the lives of eight college friends struggling with the challenges of marital life in WHY DID I GET MARRIED TOO?.
Gathered together in the Bahamas for their annual one-week reunion, four close couples eagerly reconnect, sharing news about their lives and relationships. The irony of Patricia's character is that she's the polar opposite of the female stereotype, most men believe women are overly emotional but here Patricia's husband became frustrated with her because she doesn't show any emotion. Obviously that doesn't excuse anything he did. I know plenty of women like this but you rarely hear of them. These stereotypes about women are tired

That scene in where Mike is recounting fond happy times with Sheila and she interrupts to reveal he physically abused her during those times is so powerful. It shows how in the narrative of abusers, all they see are the “good” moments. They twist thee memories to make it seem like the relationship was pure and joyful. But all those times where he was happy, she was miserable and suffering. The fact that she doesn’t remember that house in Auburn as the first place they rented but instead the place where she bled on the tiles and hit the floor is heartbreaking.

I think when he's saying love will never return to you void, he means "the void" as in "Empty". Like love will never return to you "empty" if you make sure to put out a loving energy into the world, that energy can never come back to you as "Empty of love" or "positive energy" or any , "energy"at least.
