Regardless of your job type, do you get a chance to visit these large expos in the country where you live? They literally hold 100s of different Expo's in Moscow throughout the year. This machinery, truck and plant equipment is the largest Expo event in all of Russia. Too big for only one video. I have recently started to post my videos on the Dzen platform (if your in Russia) You can join my channel there: dzen.ru/travelwithrussell If you perhaps you want to help me out along with the channel, here are some ways to support the channel: 💳 (Russian Bank Deposit) Sberbank: +7 916-313-0982 💳 (Set up for Everyone) www.donationalerts.com/r/travelwithrusell 💳 (Set up for Everyone) boosty.to/travellingwithrussell/donate 🛒 Shop for items on Amazon: www.amazon.com/shop/likecruiseships 💵 PayPal (Non-Russian) www.paypal.com/paypalme/ilikecruiseships
А почему бы не сделать видос о Российской технике, а не об этом иностранном мусоре? У России тоже есть сельскохозяйственная техника, строительная техника, фуры и т.д. и т.п.
Hi Russell, thank you for your videos. They are really inspirational 🙏🏻 I can’t wait to visit Russia, it for sure must be heaven on Earth, as your videos claim. Congratulations! As per job opportunities instead, I would like to follow your footsteps, do you know more or less how much does to Kremlin pay monthly to spew out propaganda videos and the “sanctions do not work” narrative? I heard the pay is not so bad, especially if you hide other parts of the country, such as Eastern Russia or Yakutia, just as mister Russell always does in its videos. Best of luck from Antarctica! ❤️
Russia is strong with domestic Agricultural machinery, but China is definitely brining some well needed goods that Japan and S Korea pulled the sanctions plug on for construction. Be it everything from road to cranes.

Many options and choices for Russian construction industry. Many want to work with it. Have you done a vlog on a auto expo in Russia. It would be interesting to see the domestic and foreign brands available. Thanks for the videos.
I really need to go to a few local dealers to show which western brands are still in Russia. I was recently at a Tesla dealership to find the Cybertruck. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-gyBABD0hzY4.html
Love seeing Moscow doing great. Not only the biggest city in Europe, but probably also the fastest growing one. And lovely ladies as well, most seem curious and happy to be in the video.
The different types, and the amount, of equipment available was staggering. This was definitely a "full day" event! @10:25 I have seen plenty of "booth babes" at these expos - but I do not think I have ever seen "cheerleaders". 😀 The only thing missing was a practice pitch where you could operate a piece of equipment before you bought it. 😁
welcome Russell........ welcome best and Moscow..... wonderful 1000 like....... excellent beautiful colour.... Russia and.. Moscow rose gulab.. 💗💗💗💗💗❤️❤️❤️❤️🇧🇩🇧🇩♥️♥️♥️💙💙💙💙💚💚💚💚💚💚💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜
Obviously a majority of Chinese brands, as can be expected. This kind of expo brings back memories. BAUMA Shanghai and Munich. I was plant manager in various countries for a French piling and foundation company.
14:34 - Потому что цели другие!!! Строительной технике не надо отличаться от другой внешне, быть узнаваемой, как легковым автомобилям!!! Тут важно предназначение этой техники, а не ее внешний вид!!!
I found this very interesting. I live in dairy country, USA, and it is John Deere that runs up and down the roads here (of course the fields too). God bless our farmers.
I think the EU Construction Vehicle manufacturers are now realising their mistake on pulling away from the Russian Market. The Chinese , Turks, India, Belarus have been very fast to take the place of western suppliers and i doubt the Western Firms will get their share back , especially when it comes to Food, Agriculture and Machine components. I noticed that UMG, had a sizeable presence there even though they are a relatively recent Firm moreover, MAZ are a Truck and Bus Builder that have partnerships with Chinese Firms to bring to their products improved components at a good price and the Quality of their Trucks and Buses ( german design influence ) , is improving and i think it is only a matter of a few Years that Belarusian and Russian Firms will be 20-30% Chinese owned as the Chinese spend so much on “ Research & Development “ it is the best value way of moving forward. Thanks for sharing Russell and your videos are fascinating to watch. Regards ……Abe ( UK )
I smile when you say "Buy a truck, or a vehicle", you see, the supermarket chain Magnit was shopping 4000 lorry with trailers in one go some years ago, it was that many that the producer made a few assembly plants in Russia just for this order and other lorry manufactures did the same most likely for tax beneficial reasons (produce your stuff in Russia and you avoid import tax), many other industries did the same, computers/notebooks/monitors/TV's/household appliances/tools/mobile-phones. Some just assembly premade modules imported, but there are plants where they do all the manufacturing in house. The idea was that Russia should archive some know-how about modern manufacturing methods. Research and development was not really coming together with this concept, but Russia do also today produce electronics that is just a crappy as what the Chinese do, and to a higher price than the Chinese, how they can stay in business I do not understand, but they are still there, so I guess they have other things to manufacture that make it work for them. A strange thing that many people do not realize is that stuff made in Russia is not sold cheap, it should be, the raw material is cheap, the labor is relative cheap, so the final product should be cheap, but it is not.
Very interesting about the trucks for the supermarkets. It's a large amount they want at one time. It makes sense to them build a whole plant for them.
@@TravellingwithRussellI believe Expat American was in hospital and has first hand experience. Also British guy from Russian Travels had a serious problem with his little child that required urgent head surgery - they literally put a child on the table just after arrival to the hospital. Now everything seems fine.
There are several hundreds of them. About best - I thinks best is scientific medical centers because there are working a lot of scientists, not ordinary doctors.
Redirecting through neighboring Central Asia, China, Turkiye, India, Pakistan, Gulf Arab nations, Thailand, Malaysia and Vietnam. Parallel imports is the key.
Thankyoi sir, for giving me a glimpse of a earth movement trade fair expoe, i was really enlighted, just looks as a scenerio as if i was there aswell interms of a real life scenerio not even virtually, your video was really am quite interested buying some of this earth moving equipment based on certain specific brand of my choice, hiw do i go about could you put me through on hiw i can make a purchase of one of tges equipments
Most of these Heavy Duty Equipment are from the Major Chinese Brands which are also Sold in Australasia and the Middle East and parts of Europe for over the past Twenty years
Yeah, it's the same one. They get the most orders from the Russian military but УРАЛ, another truck manufacturer also makes modified trucks for the Russian military.
@SamsonOhsem A lot of the buses in Russia are also this brand. It's a huge supplier also to the local government administrations in all parts of Russia.
With exception to Hyundai, you’ll only find this equipment used in Asian countries. Western countries buy/use Heavy Equipment manufactured in Western countries as the quality of equipment is demonstrably superior. In addition to quality, access to service, support and parts make these purchases prohibitive. Chinese equipment is purchased by companies in Western countries if budget is a principal factor.
Muchas gracias.
@@TravellingwithRussell you should! It was on the news here that Russia is turning to Chinese trucks causing problems in Germany and the rest of Europe because of that! Truck videos are popular now
You're doing a fantastic job! Could you help me with something unrelated: My OKX wallet holds some USDT, and I have the seed phrase. (alarm fetch churn bridge exercise tape speak race clerk couch crater letter). What's the best way to send them to Binance?
Isn’t it is common rule which define color which special vehicles can or must to use? At least in Russia exist special standards (GOST) where such colors are defined.
We all can see what you are showing but we all also know it’s part of a massive effort to display a sense of normality. Do you really think that a country can spend more than it earns over an extended period of time. Of course not, simple economics. And it’s not just me saying it, it’s the many hundreds of thousand of Russians who found a way to get out while they could and are watching this nonsense. As a foreigner you are a useful tool for then now but it won’t last.
О духовном помышляйте в Господе, ибо в этом истина наставляющая нас на путь спасения и вечной жизни, что и является целью нашей жизни на земле. Остальное суетное, от лукавого. Да благословит вас Господь!
How is this sanctioned? the company making these is Shantui and LiuGong which is a Chinese company and China isn't sanctioning Russia and Russia always bought their construction equipment from China, they have never imported JCB or Caterpillar or any other equivalent. Russia is and has been for a very long time a Chinese colony.
Russia is sell to China a lot of weapons, from SAM systems to military satellites, own nuclear plans, engines for jets and so on. Is it means China is Russian colony too? What a nonsense you talk. If you want to see colony, classical, then for example look at Germany. Or any NATO member, except Hungary and Turkey (they resist a little and have own policy) :)
It's a shame that tomorrow (12.10.2024) Russia is losing OFAC - the licence of U.S. Treasury Department's Office of Foreign Assets Control for commercial banks. China will pull out the yuan from Russia because they don't want to confront the sanctions. Buying Chinese machinery or any Chinese products will be very hard. EDIT: you got 20+ hours to transfer non Russian currency from or into Russia.
@@beachnmountains if you think I'm happy then you are crazy. The oligarchs transfered currency out of Russia 3months ago. The average Russian will feel on Monday/Tuesday start of the problems. China stopped selling to Russia medicine components this week - it's crazy dangerous to Russia. EU/USA don't have food/medicine sanctions for Russia - even with payments problems Russia can buy medicine/food from EU/USA - because lack of food/medicine can wipe out a lot of normal Russians. Check if I'm lying about OFAC and Chinese medicine components - I don't care on Russian or Chinese pages. It's getting seriously dangerous, like really no joke, for your citizens - because Putin has embargo on EU/USA medicine - and you can't produce in Russia without China components. If you have somebody with seriously illness buy expert medicine now.
@@beachnmountains if you think I'm happy about it I'm not. I would be happy if Russia stopped doing bad things. This OFAC combined with Putins embargo on food/medicine from EU/USA is a bad thing but Russia would power through it. If OFAC/Putin Embargo is combined with China stopping to sell Russia medicine components this week it's serious serious serious thing. Russia can't produce medicine without Chinese components, the more advanced the more you're dependable on China. China chooses to sell to wealthier countries or countries they view as important partners, your country left the list this week. As one human being to other human being inform as many people with serious ilnesses/sickness that require expert/advanced medicine they need to buy it because it's not joking matter. You can laugh at OFAC, embargon on EU/USA products all you want the China action is like 90/100 important (I can use words describing importance because YT deleted my message twice). Please check the news yourself if you don't believe me - on Russian or Chinese sites.
@icantbreath9061 if you think I'm happy about it I'm not. I would be happy if R stopped doing bad things. This OFAC combined with R embargo on outside food/medicine is a bad thing but R would power through it. If combined with big C country stopping to sell R medicine components this week R can't produce medicine without components, the more advanced the more you're dependable on outside. C country chooses to sell to wealthier countries or countries they view as important partners, R left the list this week. I inform you that not feeling well that require expert/advanced medicine those people need to buy it because it's 90/100 thing (I had to soften a lot of words because algorithm didn't allow my message three times).
