The entire criticism makes no sense. It is obvious that Aurat march is an open ended movement where anyone can come and therefore it is not necessary that they all agree on everything. It is normal. Why do religious people feel the need to shame others for their choices provided it doesn’t harm anyone? In India if you are oppressed by not being allowed to wear the hijab, then similarly even in pak, women are being oppressed to wear the hijab. Then what’s the difference? Authentic Hadith regarding 15th night of Sha’ban (Shab-e-Baraat) Many hadiths have been narrated extolling the virtue of the 15th of Sha’ban. As Shab-e-Baraat is approaching so thought of sharing this again. The Virtues of Shab-e-Baraat i.e. Nisf Sha’ban (15th night of Sha’ban which is also called Laylatul-Bara’ah in Arabic) Some people today (mostly ‘Salafis’/Wahhabis) deny the virtues of Shab-e-Baraat. Therefore let us look at authentic hadiths in this regard and that too with authentication from leading Wahhabi authority i.e. Nasir ad-Din al-Albani. He mentions in his Silsilat ul Ahadith as-Sahiha: يطلع الله تبارك و تعالى إلى خلقه ليلة النصف من شعبان , فيغفر لجميع خلقه إلا لمشرك أو مشاحن " . قال الألباني في " السلسلة الصحيحة " 3 / 135 : حديث صحيح , روي عن جماعة من الصحابة من طرق مختلفة يشد بعضها بعضا و هم # معاذ ابن جبل و أبو ثعلبة الخشني و عبد الله بن عمرو و أبي موسى الأشعري و أبي هريرة و أبي بكر الصديق و عوف ابن مالك و عائشة # . 1 - أما حديث معاذ فيرويه مكحول عن مالك بن يخامر عنه مرفوعا به . أخرجه ابن أبي عاصم في " السنة " رقم ( 512 - بتحقيقي ) Translation: Allah turns towards His creation in the Night of “MID-SHA’BAN” and He forgives all of them except for a polytheist and one who hates other people. Albani says: This is a “SAHIH HADITH” narrated by group of Sahabah with different routes such as from, Mu’adh ibn Jabal (رضي الله عنه), Abu Tha’laba (رضي الله عنه), Abdullah ibn ‘Amr (رضي الله عنه), Abu Musa al-Ash’ari (رضي الله عنه), Abu Hurairah (رضي الله عنه), Abu Bakr As-Saddiq (رضي الله عنه), Awf ibn Malik (رضي الله عنه) and ‘Aisha (رضي الله عنها). The Hadith of Mu’adh ibn Jabal (رضي الله عنه) comes through Makhul from Malik ibn Yakhamir and It is “MARFU (ELEVATED TO PROPHET)” ... [Nasir ad-Din al-Albani in Silsilat ul Ahadith as-Sahiha, Vol.3, Pg.135 #1144] Amongst them is the narration of Sayyiduna Mu’adh ibn Jabal رضي الله عنه that Rasulullah ﷺ said, “Allah سبحانه و تعالى turns to His entire creation on the fifteenth night of Sha’ban and forgives all of them except one who ascribes partners to Him and one who harbors enmity in his heart.” [*This hadith has been recorded by Imam Tabarani in his Mu’jam al-Awsat, Hadith: 6776 and Mu’jam al-Kabir, Vol.20, Pgs.108-109] Imam Ibn Hibban رحمه الله has classified this narration as Sahih (authentic) and has included it in his book, ‘Al-Sahih.’ [Sahih Ibn Hibban, Vol.12, Pg.482, Hadith: 5665] Hafiz Al-Haythami رحمه الله has mentioned that all the narrators of this hadith are reliable. [Majma’ al-Zawa’id, Vol.8, Pg.65] Besides this narration classified as Sahih by Imam Ibn Hibban رحمه الله, there is another classified as sound by Hafiz Al-Mundhiri رحمه الله in his Al-Targhib, Vol.3, Pg.459. This narration is of Sayyiduna Abu Bakr رضي الله عنه and is recorded by Imam Al-Bazzar رحمه الله in his Musnad. Imam Al-Bazzar رحمه الله and Imam Al-Bayhaqi رحمه الله both narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Bakr رضي الله عنه that the Prophet ﷺ said, “Allah descends to the lowest heaven on the middle night of Sha’ban. He forgives everyone except a polytheist or a man who holds rancor in his heart.” There is no problem with its isnad, just as Hafiz Al-Mundhiri رحمه الله has mentioned. In fact, Hafiz Ibn Hajar رحمه الله has also classified one of its chains as Hasan (sound). [al-Amal al-mutlaqah, Pgs.119-120] Besides the above two, there are many other Sahabah رضي الله عنهم that narrated hadiths regarding the merit of this night. 3) Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah رضي الله عنه [Musnad al-Bazzar, Hadith: 3551] 4) Sayyiduna Abu Tha’laba رضي الله عنه [Shu’ab al-Iman] 5) Sayyiduna Awf ibn Malik رضي الله عنه [Musnad al-Bazzar] 6) Sayyiduna ‘Abdullah ibn ‘Amr ibn al-‘As رضي الله عنه [Musnad Ahmad, Hadith: 6642] 7) Sayyiduna Abu Musa al-Ash’ari رضي الله عنه [Ibn Majah, Hadith: 1390; Shu’ab al-Iman, Hadith: 3552] 😎 Sayyiduna ‘Ali ibn Abi Talib رضي الله عنه [Ibn Majah, Hadith: 1388; Shu’ab al-Iman, Hadith: 3542] 9) Sayyiduna Abdullah ibn ‘Umar رضي الله عنه 10) Sayyiduna ‘Uthman ibn Abil-‘As رضي الله عنه [Shu’ab al-Iman, Hadith: 3555] 11) Sayyidah ‘Aisha bint Abi Bakr رضي الله عنها [Shu’ab al-Iman] 12) Sayyiduna Kathir ibn Murrah رضي الله عنه (Tabi’i) [Shu’ab al-Iman, Hadith: 3550] The collective strength of these narrations cannot be refuted. Ibn Taymiyyah has said, “As for the middle night of Sha’ban, there are various narrations that have been narrated regarding it’s significance and it has been reported from a group of the Salaf (predecessors) that they performed salat in it individually, hence, such a deed cannot be disputed.” [Majmu’ al-Fatawa Ibn Taymiyyah, Vol.23, Pg.132] Imam ‘Ata ibn Yasar رحمه الله the great Tabi’i said, “After Laylat al-Qadr, there is no other night in the year that is more vitreous than the middle (15th) night of Sha’ban.” [Lataif al-Ma’arif, Pg.197] Hafiz Ibn Rajab رحمه الله has quoted Imam Shafi’i رحمه الله to have mentioned that duas are accepted by Almighty Allah on the 15th of Sha’ban. [ibid, Pg.196] All of the above sufficiently confirm the significance of the 15th night of Sha’ban. Note: Together with Duá and Istighfar (seeking forgiveness from Allah سبحانه و تعالى), on this night one should engage in any act of worship that one feels comfortable with.

The problem is the double standards between men and women, why are men allowed to have haram relations in our culture? If he messes up someone else’s daughter it’s ok but your daughter is under restrictions. That is the definition of hypocrisy… Islam ki kon fikr karta hai. But Aurat March is not a the answer to these issues
I think aurat march is definitely an answer because that’s where all these social issues, gender stereotypes, gender related hy.pocrisy is exposed. But the religious bodies have associated the aurat march with such negativity that even if there is a productive discourse going on in the aurat march, it will be looked down upon.

I think u shld also talk on issue of males lowering thier gaze and respecting Allah's command ..i belong to india ..and yaha itni buri halat hai .. wen i walk in a hindu area ..men are minding thier own bussiness bina kisi ko dekhe .. and i feel safe to walk ..lekin jab mai apne muslim ilake mey walk karti hu for my basic needs toh musalman ladke 2-4 baar ir gird gaadi chalake mujhe ghurte hai .. aise kyu?.. isnt high time to put podcast and raise dis issue and teach men how to lower gaze and walk .. jabki hindu ladko mey yeh lowering ur gaze waali pabandi nahi hai phir bhi wo kahi had tak isko follow karte hai ... السلام علیکم و رحمة الله و بركاته. *قرآن وسنت کی پیروی کیجئےاور بدعات سے بچئيے* اسلام ایک مکمل دین ہیے جو ہماری مکمل رہنمائى کرتا ہیے ۔ افسوس کی بات ہیے کہ لا علمی کی وجہ سے ہمارے بہت سے بہن بھائى بدعات کا شکار ہو گئے ہیں.؟ آئيے ہم قرآن وسنت سے رہنمائى حاصل کریں اور گمراہی سے بچیں۔ عرفات کے دن آخری خطبے کے دوران یہ خوب صورت آیت نازل ہوئى. 🌹*الیوم اکملت لکم دینکم واتممت علیکم نعمتی و رضیت لکم الاسلام دینا* (المائدہ:3) *آج کے دن میں نے تمھارے لئے تمھارا دین مکمل كر ديا هے اور تم پر اپنی نعمت مکمل کی دى هے اور اسلام کو تمارے دین کے طور پر پسند کیا ہیے ۔* اسی سورہ میں اللہ تعالی نے فرمایا. *۔۔۔قد جاءکم من اللہ نور و کتب مبین○ یھدی بہ اللہ من تبع رضوانہ سبل السلام ویخرجھم من الظلمات الی النور باذنہ ویھدیھم الی صراط مستقیم*○ المائدہ (16-15) *بے شک تمھارے پاس اللہ کی طرف سے ایک نور اور روشن کتاب آ چکی ہیے اللہ اِس کے ذریعے، اُس کو ہدایت دیتا ہیے جو اُس کی رضا چاہے ان کو الله اپنے حکم سے اندھیروں سے نکال کر روشنی کی طرف لے جاتا ہیے اور سیدھے راستے کی طرف رہنمائى کرتا ہیے ۔* *عن العرباض بن ساریہ عن النبی صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم قال:قد ترکتم علی البیضاء لیلھا کنھارھا لا یزیغ عنھا بعدی الا ھالک* (ابن ماجہ 44) العرباض بن ساریہ (رض) نبی صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے روایت کرتے ہیں کہ اپ نے فرمایا: *بے شک میں تمہیں ایک روشن راستے پر چھوڑ کر جا رہا ہوں جس کی رات بھی دن کے مانند ہیے ۔ میرے بعد جو اس سے ہٹے گا وہ ہلاک ہو گا۔* *رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے خطبے کا حصہ جو حضرت جابر بن عبداللہ نے روایت کی:* *شرالامور محدثاتھا وکل محدثہ بدعہ وکل بدعہ ضلالہ وکل ضلالہ فی النار*۔ (سنن نسائی: 1578) *بدترین کام(دین میں) نئے ایجاد کردہ کام ہیں اور ہر نئ ایجاد بدعت ہیے اور ہر بدعت گمراہی ہیے اور ہر گمراہی اگ میں لے جاتى ہیے ۔* اللہ تعالی ہم سب کو گمراہ ہونے سے بچائے. آمین یارب العالمین.
