I'm 47 years old, I remember the NBA on NBC in the 80s & 90s, & it was an incredible show, Bob Costas was great, the show was very captivating. However, that was a different Era, Jordan, Barkley, Ewing, Robinson, Malone, Stockton, Bird, Magic, etc! Hell, I go back to the 80s when CBS had the NBA, but, TNT has been the best NBA show on for decades! Ernie Johnson is the catalyst, & the show sometimes is better to watch then the games!
Gonna have to take an L on this one. Inside the NBA is the best show on television. I watch these guys more than I do the actual games, especially in the regular season.
As far as the overall reporting in today's NBA, I agree with you. As far as Shaq being on the show, I agree with you. I loved the show with just Kenny, Barkley, and Ernie. Inside the NBA is more entertaining than the actual games.
Just because dismantling the show removes Shaq doesn't mean the other 3 guys will move together on another show. And if they do, they will most likely bring Shaq along. Yes, his humor is for stupid people but the average person is stupid. You underestimate the size of his reach and audience
I never said that they would move together on a new show if they got dismantled. It's a possibility it could happen but for some reason I don't see NBC bringing them over since they will be expensive to hire. You are right the average person is stupid and because of this they are a lot of stupid people out there. This definitely does help Shaq.
When I watch this show, its because its entertaining and I hear from guys who know the game. Ernie is the professional guy who keeps it on the right track. I like it when they make fun of each other and you never know what funny take Chuck might have. I have no idea what you are ranting about.
The NBA on NBC was into the story of the league and the games. Remember before every game there would be a little video montage with a monologue. Then in came the theme song…it was great!
I like Chuck and Ernie. They are funny and professional. Kenny works well with them but on his own.. meh. I totally agree with you on Shaq. He uses the show to hate on other people.
Overall, I disagree with this take. However, I will say that when Shaq first joined "Inside the NBA," he for a brief period ruined the show. He told a lot of terrible jokes and messed up the chemistry. Fortunately, they figured it out and the show has been GREAT for years now, but that's because Chuck is driving the bus and Shaq plays second fiddle. Oh, and I do agree that Shaq's takes - half the time - are not that insightful. But he's there because he is a good foil to Chuck.
lol As long as they're all millionaire, very relevant. And you don't need to be a millionaire to start a podcast. And Joe Rogan is a stupid shill who is installed to manipulate stupid people. In conclusion; Your whole comment is STUPID.
The only good thing about Inside the NBA is when Chuck and Shaq are goofing off. There is no real insight from any of these con artists anyway. Shaq is a racist and rarely adds anything important, he comes off as stupid. Chuck is a flip flopper, but has the most insight. Kenny is out of place. Ernie is a legend.
To be really fair Shaq is useless. He rarely has to say anything smart. He's only there to laugh at Chucks jokes and Shaqtin a Fool. Show would have been better with original trio and rotate some guys in place of Shaq or none at all.
Nah Shaq is there to be unintentionally funny and be the butt of a lot of jokes. There’s not a lot of guys who would try to go back and forth with Chuck like Shaq does
Honestly very true. Ernie is gold. Shaq is such an insufferable insecure man child. Kenny is the least knowledgeable basketball player and adds nothing. At least Barkley is funny.
