In 2016, Tim Duncan retired from the league as a 5-time NBA Champion, a two-time NBA MVP, and a Hall of Fame athlete. Despite his career accolades, Tim rarely makes public appearances or sits down for press interviews. Lucky for us we knew there were two people in the world Tim could never say no to...fellow teammate Richard Jefferson and his co-host Larry O'Brien (aka the NBA trophy). Running into Tim Duncan around San Antonio is always a pleasure. Usually it's like flipping through the rack at REI and I'm like there's a top 5 of all time basketball player doing the same thing as me. My mom awkwardly waves and he waves back. So down to earth and just a master class on how to be a good person. Absolute legend

I was in San Antonio back in 2002 with my cousins. We went to see Blade 2 in the theaters around its release in March or April. We were close to the front sitting down, and I turned around to see how many people were in the theater, and guess who I saw, The Big Fundamental, sitting in between 2 body guards watching the same movie I was. Too bad no one had smart phones for selfies at that time. As soon as the movie finished, I looked back and saw him and the guards exiting before anyone else left. Truly like a lochness monster sighting. No one believed us, but I will always have the memory of watching Blade 2 with buddy Tim Duncan. 😂

R J answered the door with a towel wrapped around his waist while RuPaul-esq friend sat waiting for him on the bed. I didn't believe my brother then. In 2009 I met Tim Duncan briefly. We were at the Bayfront Lodge in Erie, Pennsylvania celebrating my parents 50th wedding anniversary. Tim was walking through the lobby with his wife and his little kids. Rode elevator up with them, told him good luck on upcoming season, he was very quiet, cordial. Was about it. Seemed to be shyness to him. Nice man.

I stumbled across this video during my lunch hour, well 1/2 hour. I had no idea that the video would be this funny. I also had no idea that a bite of under cooked grilled cheese sandwich could almost shoot through your nose while laughing. Very funny stuff ! Awesome !
