Yes! I have been stressing about them because technically they are all I want but that price is insane. And it’s so nice having this community who is so reasonable and helping me to not fall for those „run don’t walk“ influencers!
I too am curious how the Kaleidos Freefall gloss (which I have) compares to the Isamaya glosses, as I recently purchased two of them for the first time.
Patrick Ta really thinks he's luxury with his american made, non-baked, moldy products! Pat Mcgrath, italian made, is charging $34 (CAD, which is $25 USD) for her duo's and Mother is a legend in the field of makeup. Ta's duo's cost $58 CAD and he better spit in my mouth and call me a good girl for that type of money LOL
The Baby Bangs absolutely deserve their musical tribute!!! 🎶 I am glad the PT duos are so expensive. That has taken any even potential desire they might have stirred! Yay!!!
re patrick ta: idk if brands are trying to raise their overall prices to make it seem like they are the peers of luxury brands since brands like dior are so popular now, if they're just testing how far they can price hike before people stop buying, or both. never really been interested in his products but def wont be paying attention now if the pricing is gonna be so sus. ur look slayed though!
I really wish brands would come out with more Halloween collections instead of skipping right into the holiday season. I’d buy a bat shaped eyeshadow palette or pumpkin spice lipstick 😂

Can we just recognize that Baby Bangs flow is a bop 😊. Also I love Patrick Ta products but an eye shadow duo for over 40$ when he makes the best blush duo of all time for less than $40…poor baby Patrick is confused.
We love sparkle cam!! I am honestly so sad to know the Patrick Ta shadows are estimated to be that highly priced.. I’ve never bought any of his stuff, and it seems very hit or miss from what I’ve seen online. It would have been fun to buy a couple to try them out but now that is absolutely not an option for me.

I am about to embark on an enormous declutter as I’m just dismayed by the amount of makeup that I own. It’s ridiculous. Do you ever experience anxiety over ‘letting go’ of certain items? I need to get over that and just do it. Thanks for the inspiration to appreciate what I already have. XO
I think when I first started downsizing my makeup collection I thought I might find myself regretting decisions I’d made but even since the beginning of the journey there has not been one thing I decluttered that I ever regretted decluttering. I’m fairly certain I’ve never bought something again after decluttering either.
My best piece of (unasked for) advice is to declutter into a box or bag & put it aside for a while. If you find that you can't even remember (or care) what's in the declutter box/bag, then you'll have your answer. I say this as someone who has/had a burgeoning makeup collection that took me forever to decide to even downsize. I waffled for two years before going through with it! It was honestly such a relief once I finally took the plunge. Good luck to you, you got this!
I’m on the fence about the Ethereal Eyes Midnight. I love the color story. I love sparkly eyeshadow (especially taupey sparkly eyeshadow), but $69? Being honest, I’d only be buying it for 3 shades. Is it worth $69 for 3 shades? But I think I’m probably going to buy the cool brown duo from Patrick Ta. It’s just sooooo pretty. It’s gonna hurt to spend $42 though. His palettes are $70 on Sephora now.

I practice it my self costantly and I m taking over a year to decide where to splurge so my new make up is always passé😅 But ,correct me if I m wrong (because pricing can be different in Europe where I am), even if patrik ta duo eyeshadows are 42 doallars it s the same price as two urban decay moondust eyeshadows no? So I dont find it so out of this earth concerning the situation with makeup pricing the last year. It s not that I own anything from him so no idea about quality and all, just a curiosity thing...
So typically when you release a palette / duo there is a savings involved. For example. Urban Decay has a quad out at Sephora right now that has four moondust shadows and it’s not $100. Which is what four singles would cost. Of course the amount of product could be different but what I’ve learned is that most people aren’t concerned about cost/gram. Pat McGrath is selling eyeshadow duos for $25 right now. NARS sells their duos for much cheaper. Not only that but Patrick Tas blush and bronzer duos cost less than $42. The pricing just is inconsistent with his brand and vs others.
I am telling you If those Patrick Ta duos disappoint me as much as his horrible chalky pasty greasy sparkling coconut oil nonsense highlighters did I WILL START A RIOT.

They are $42 because he has gotten greedy. Unfortunately, money corrupts. Unless the cost to produce & manufacture them and still have some remaining profit is the reason, but that seems very unlikely. I feel like the cost for his foundation was understandable although on the high end. But $42 for an eyeshadow duo is nuts, especially when most people will want to buy more than one duo. He is literally pricing himself out of sales. $30 would've been a better price, like the CT special shadows.
