Sitting down with my morning coffee, worried sick how I’m gonna pay for my husband’s medication today… (He has been unable to work for the past two years and as I’ve been caring for him I have been unable to work as well). I watched this story with tears streaming down my face. Tears of total joy and renewed faith that there are good people out there, people that are and can truly see the real value in life, which is not counted in how much you have in your account, but by how much you have in your heart. Thank you for sharing this story… I needed to hear this and I’m sure that there are many more out there that need to hear it too. My husband and I may not have much, but what we do have we share with open arms and ask for nothing in return. I know this is a big reason we find ourselves in the current situation we are in, but we wouldn’t change what we have done in the past or those that we have helped (be it in much smaller ways than this lovely man). Thank you for sharing this story. xxx

Congratulations Pete on your lotto win, May God Bless You and Your Family Peter. It is the most beautiful thing in the world to help some else. Especially when you know someone or some family is struggling, My sister and I now very well what its like to care for two family members (mum and dad) an then loose them both (1 year 11 months a part). We also know very well what its like have very little and at times I have to work 11hr shift not only support my sister but just make ends eat. My sister and I always say, If we ever won money just like you did we would do the same. I wish you and your family all the very best in the world. In the old days companies like Ford in the USA when they made extra they would give their workers bonuses. And they also gave the ppl beautiful National Parks to enjoy for future generations. Zuckerberg is pure greed and the only time he gives money is to benefit himself. I mean these ppl are worth 130 odd billion he could open up Housing for all those homeless and desperate ppl get them into rehab. A man with a kind and generous heart. I had a few tears toward the end listening to his words. His honesty and desire to become a better person by giving to others around him that need a bit of extra help was refreshing! His insight into human behaviour.. he knew that he would be asked for money and there would be complications around that...he wanted to keep it simple! Good on him 😀

You really are such a kind man, I don’t think I have ever come across someone so genuine! Too much money can turn you into a selfish person and too little money is hard work, feeding your children, paying bills and especially living in a cold house! But taking care of your uncle for 2 years is just unbelievably the most giving thing to do! And boy didn't he repay you!!! I always DREAM of winning the lottery. Especially when it's really big. Mainly because there are SO MANY WAYS AND PEOPLE THAT I COULD HELP! Especially the homeless community in my area. I wasnt to be able to build tiny housing communities all over the place to give those who really want a good life a really great start! That's just one of my many many dreams! Wow this video literally gave me goose bumps this man is exactly who I strive to become im always getting taken advantage of because I will do anything for anyone if I got $10 in my pocket we both have $10 I've been raised to never outshine people and to treat those the way I wish to be treated its just a shame that alot of people don't think like that any more I struggle pay check to pay check but would sacrifice the roof over my family's head to keep another's warm

I think obviously he might keep some of the fortune. I dont think he meant all the money. He would hold just enough to get by and for his family. Even if you have 100 thousand dollars its plenty of money to last you for years to pay bills groceries and he also works for a living its not like he didnt have a job.
