That's not really describing a parasocial situation on its own, that's just having feelings for someone. Parasocial is a one-way relationship, usually with a celebrity or a fictional character. The whole idea is that it mimics a social relationship in your mind, you feel like you have a social connection with them, but they do not and cannot reciprocate. Online friendships aren't parasocial, they're just social.
