I have never wished so badly for a story to become a series. This was so enthralling. I was so enraptured by the first story that I completely forgot it was part of a larger anthology.

SAME 😂when he came out of his storytelling, to continue talking about the archives as a whole, I was like "oh shoot" 😢 I forgot he was telling a story WITHIN a story b'cuz 🤦🏽 I was super invested in Him's story! I loved the part where she thought to herself "What a shame it was, that he didn't eat humans" because it sure would have made a nice "one up" sacrifice for winter😝

That was what the show candle cove (after the creepypasta of the same name) was supposed to be. However I couldn't get past there depiction of no end house because they changed it so much from the original story that it was nowhere near as good. I don't think TV producers allow this kind of content without major revisions.

I fall asleep listening and have to start the whole thing over the next day because of it. I pick a long one to listen to while I'm working and then one at night. I miss it if I'm not listening to him tell stories. Don't know what I'll do when I've listened to them all. His voice is very soothing regardless of the story!

the music box sounds exactly like an scp. everything being redacted, small object with supernatural powers, a danger scale, the people at the end are basically given amnesics not to mention it's called P 145 all that's missing is the 'SC'

Keep in mind the language shift from it being average to say and spell things like "what in tarnation" to nowadays where adults misspell simple words in the note to excuse a kid from class.

47:35 That subtle SCP reference tho. I loved the first story. I wish there was a continuation of some kind, but that seems unlikely from an anthology like this. All the little snippets were entertaining in their own right, though. I also have a sudden need to rename one of my cats Henry VIII, but they are both black, not ginger. Artemis would probably object and leave spiders in my shoes or something to impress upon me her discontent. Apollo barely understands his current name, I don't think he'd even listen if I started calling him Henry. (He is a himbo of a cat.) ....Guess it's time for a new cat!

Right!? It seems most movies nowadays are remakes of old movies - it's as if Hollywood writers can't think of anything good enough to sell so they just keep trying to make money off old movies by remaking them, and only a very slim number of THOSE are even close to being as good as the original.

@Travis Fresh lol, yr mad! Ok well im quite well but ive lost so much weight these last six months that i really didnt want to lose. Been checked out & theres nothing major wrong with me except ive got bad arthritis in my hip & b coz of Covid i cant get my hip replaced by operation so i gota wait! For anyone interested, that's probably a god of the forest called Cernunnos. God of the hunt and the wild. From what i have read (there's not really much information on him) he's quite good spirited, but as the wilderness he have a raw side too.

Nice! Good narration, and interesting story. I usually don't like, a story consiting of smaller stories, but this here nicelly blended in to one tale. And the thing that blow me away was in the two (I think i was the two last) stories, a little mention of an name (organization) from the SCP universe, and and small, and subtle hint ot Lovecrafts Cthulhu mythos. Loved it! Thinks like this make you stop and think abaut the storry ;) !

Great job as always ! Thank you so much for - *again* - keeping me sane during the third lockdown. I understand what this young person was trying to say about him of the woods. I give thanks to all the Gods, and that feeling of needing to dance just to get back into what ever my daily life needs to be, that might sound crazy; but I truly do believe that ancient Gods are ever present as we call upon them on a constant basis be it when we say the days of the week or even the months of the year. Maybe there only a few people left that feel this way but I know that I am to give thanks to all the Gods for my continual existence and it is they that sustain my strength and life.

God wrote that other gods exist, but to the children of the faith of Abraham, he is to be the most important, bar none. This is often overlooked by zealots of Abrahamic faiths, who assert there is one and only one God, when God himself says there are more, but he is to be first among them in the thoughts and prayers of his faithful..

LH is already the best. I have given up on the narrators with lots of subs. For one, MCP tried to actually TRADEMARK the very word CREEPYPASTA! GREEDY UNBELIEVABLE! So angering. And CMP has Grooming allegations from a girl who was just 12 years old when the inappropriate relationship started. Sadly, I need to go through all my CP playlists and delete their stories. LH has the best, most entertaining stories. He is consistent. He doesn't have this huge, insufferable ego, and I prefer his voice above all others I've ever heard. I was instantly drawn in too, addicted. Thank you, LH! Quality is top, the best!

@@luke4773 well I use to listen NOT sub to MCP and yes! He became more about hey look at me ! There is a way to be “popular “ AND humble we are wired for both. I honestly listen to LH and Mr. Creeps no one else really. There more about showcasing the stories and just entertainment. I get it takes time and effort to make vids and being supplemented for their time is okay it’s when they start to get an ego. Kinda like corpse husband once he “blew up” he left what made him popular in the first place, they get tunnel vision on wtf ever e-girls are and money and clout. Start making awful music for why , I’m guessing to many yes men.

I think curator Harrison is the same brother from the second story. There's no way the author would bring up that specific name twice in a row for no reason, and if he was around the age of the narrator in 1872 (let's assume a median age of 15) in 1947 he would be 90.
