I worked on this large portrait painting all of September! I'm glad I took my time with this oil painting to focus on more difficult subjects like lighting, clothing, and the hands. This vlog shows you snippets of my September, like a little look into my diary. I bought a new plant (tree lol), unboxed new art supplies, got sick for a week unfortunately, decorated my living room with a new couch, and spent more time exploring Chicago! I'm thrilled with how this painting turned out and I hope you all love it too! I'm curious to know what sort of meaning it brings to mind for you.
