Gary's physical comedy makes his delivery even funnier. He's here talking about end zone celebrations and showing an exaggerated version of how they're done. Hilarious!
GARY OWENS - Shows a time honored entertainment truth...When Black people are collectively fans of any artist, regardless of race, color or creed...they are devoted, loyal, forgiving and... 100 PERCENT LOVING FANS !

Idk if Gary would have any material if he stopped using the white/black formula but strangely i never get tired of his sets. I got tired of most comedians doing the " black ppl do this" " white ppl look like this" routine, its played out but not with Gary. His delivery is just unmatched
totally understand what you mean, I use to own def jam comedy dvd's back in the day, and all the black comics do black-and-white difference material and it gets to a point where it ain't even funny it's just straight-up racist and just cringe, one comic used the word Cracker like 100 times and every black person in the crowd was in tears over this one word, I just had to switch it off.
I think it's because he has lots of daily observations from his personal life, and he's not afraid to make himself the butt of a joke. Though he does have other material. He did stuff on the military that was not about race, for example.

Much love Mr.Owen to you ...Love your stand ups and Movies..Sorry However About what your going thru in your personal life right now..Keep Yo head up..Ya Boi Jag, Carol City
I watched one of his acts last week. I was weary about cultural appropriation, but this one has just removed my skepticism! He went _right_ up to the line but never crossed it! Extremely talented! 🏆🥇
Got to hear the black head coach .. story.. I had coach's of all kinds.. when they could do anything to us.. language.. running.. updowns.. anything.. smack us.. any thing.. we respected them.. they taught us allot.. and I have great friends because of that.. and football is a sport for men. Played by boys..
Ok Gary, hook-up with Tyler Perry, Colin Kaepernick, Jay-Z and maybe David Steward IT billionaire and get a black owned NFL football team! You can do it 🥇
@@CorvusCorone68 I'm pretty sure Gary has way more money than Kap. He's been doing his thing longer and Kap hasn't been able to make money for years now.
lol, I remember our first all Black school we played in High School. They were Oak Ridge. They showed up and all their players looked like grown men, ha ha. One of their players had a wife and 2 kids in the stands, lolol I hadn't even been laid yet. Shit. We got destroyed. They rushed for like 400 yards. We lost 56-3. Our school got smart and started recruiting all Blacks. We went onto win 7 State Championships and now are a Powerhouse. But, the main difference was in the Track Team. I remember we almost got lapped in the 4x400 relay against a Powerhouse team called Willowridge. I ran a 51 second 400 back then, but got smoked on my anchor leg by a Black stud, than ran a 48 in High School. Long story short, African Americans are the greatest athletes in Football, Track and Basketball. If you want to compete, you need to recruit as many as possible.
@@punchforpound2808 I am just stating the truth. In Football, Basketball, Track, you need African Americans, or your team will not amount to crap. They are superior athletes in those sports.
There is a lack of white, brown, Asian, Eskimo, and western slovik basketball players and football players. I think we need to take out some of the qualified black players to allow more ethnic player groups.
I'm a big fan. I want to know, because you're married to a black woman, who gave you a pass to were you can make all these black jokes? Your whole routine is black oriented comedy.
Gary Owen was in the Navy and spent his whole service surrounded by people of color, he was married to a black woman, has mixed kids, and starred in a Tyler Perry show. Aside from that? Dude's from Indiana. They all talk like that. 😂
@@ziergiest WTF does being in the Navy have to do with his talking in his different black voice when pandering to black people. It's not how he talks normally, at all.
@@nickk4010 - Military service introduces people to entire groups and environments they knew even knew existed. Gary, in another stand-up, talks about the fact that he spent a lot of his time in the Navy with black people. He even began dating black women during that time, because black women loved him. In his words "Imma like whoever likes me". Further....That is how Gary Owen talks normally. Idk if you've seen any of his interviews or watched any of his stand-up from the 90's, but that's just how he talks. The only time he uses a "black voice" is when he's making an obvious joke, like the locker room speech story. I've met Gary Owen at a bar in Detroit. No one knew who he was, and he was just hanging out with his entourage or whatever. Dude talks exactly like how he does in his shows, because that's how he talks.
