i get abit worried oiling my filters as i used castral filter oil and my bike didnt want to run until i cleaned it all off seems to restrict all the air

im looking for a cr500 i had a yz250 it was hard as hell to keep the front end on the ground, every bump i hit, i just kept goosing the throttle, you litteraly had to fight to keep off the throttle. fun as hell though. i made a shit ton of money on it too while riding. went down some unrun trails, i found a golf cart that ran, sold it for 1500.00 to a buddy, and another time i found a huge roll of copper wire 200lbs forget how much i got for that though. although it was all probably stolen but why let a good find go to waste.

Tip for people wanting to clean your filter! Get a bucked fill it with water and then spray some degreaser in it. It will make its way cleaner but u will have to re oil it

Do those air filter wash caps actually work? Id be scared of some water going in between the airbox and cap.

A lever trick that worked awesome for me is using a milk jug to make a plastic washer. I replace it about every year, and combined with a graphite lube, it makes the clutch feel like two sheets of glass sliding past each other. Nice video!

Where did you get the plastics fir the RC

Quick question for you. In both cleaning sessions of the bikes, you are using a circular scotch brite pad on both the alum and plastic parts. Does it not scuff the plastics? Thank and great Video!

Wait a min. You cleaned the Kawi but skipped the skid!? Shame! :). Always rinse air filters from the inside-out. That way your flushing the dirt/debris out of the filter. Just what I do! Good to see your ok after the crash. Take care of yourself, especially after hitting your head. You only get 1 health. Great videos!
