Max Fosh: "I should just shave my head but I don't want to commit that much to the bit." Also Max Fosh: *Spends £2,236.50 on Lion King seats for the bit*
If Steve had a nickel for every time he'd seen the Lion King for free, he'd have two nickels. Which isn't a lot but it's a weird thing to have happened twice.
max could've used 10 bald men, and could've made himself the space without making himself appear bald, which would've worked, as the job of a space is to separate the words
In my teens i got into the anime phase and started watching Death Note (as it is tradition). Friend of mine smiled at me with exitement and asked "are you at the point already where .... dies?" She gets 10 min of hate every time we meet. It has bin 10 years. I will never forget.
A friend showed me the Red Wedding as a joke once (without me having any clue who the characters were) and it's actually what got me into Game of Thrones but in hindsight it was kind of a d*ck move on his part because that entire sequence is insane if you don't know what's about to happen. So, I'd say Max's anger and pettiness over it is definitely warranted.
@@buisbo1240I’d say up until then, it’s definitely one of the best scenes but seasons 4, 5, and 6 each have their own spectacular moments, some of which I’d say are even better. Happy watching :)
@@femkevanthoff6307 Yes that was a d*ck move but you wouldn't have gotten to watch GoT, so fair I guess. Jokes on him while he was watching season 8 on premiere
@@AnotherSwissRU-vidUserLonger videos are typically seen as higher quality productions, short-form content typically falls into quantity over quality, though obviously Max did put in a lot of effort in organizing this, I suppose making the video longer would include bits that weren’t strictly necessary in this case.
as someone who is ultra-anti-spoilers so much that I only want to know the title of something before watching it - this prank speaks to me on a spiritual level
I swear i've heard of some aristocrat doing this before with a slight twist in the mid 1900s. I think he booked out lots of seats in a theatre and gave all the tickets to bald friends so their heads spelt a word. He then sat in a box so he could admire his work. This could have just been a weird dream but if not please lmk
No this is totally true and apparently the friend he was getting back at was a notorious violent drunkard and didn't take it so well so he ended up killing him after pushing him into a counter top. Left a kid and two wives behind, very sad
@@putagenieinthebottle it isn't real lol he died of a heart attack - he had two kids, and one of his marriage ended with a divorce, and his second wife had multiple affairs (and one of his two kids was the result of one of these affair ... so not his blood)
My girlfriend managed to stay spoiler free of GOT until November last year. Honestly, incredible feat. It was great watching it back with someone who hasn't watched it before. It was so close to being the best series ever.
I do kinda respect that Charlie decided rather than watch the movie that his first time would be the play. I really hope no one else in the theater was truly spoiled though.
I genuinly think you are the funniest person on the internet. Hope I can someday go to one of your shows. Salutations from the best country of Chile, Chile
Great video. That leaves the question of when a spoiler stops being a spoiler... is Darth Vader being Lukes father still a spoiler? What about Romeo and Juliette dying, or the Trojan Horse being filled with enemy soldiers? Do spoilers have an expiry date?
I think it's more of expiration by popularity rather than release date. I'd be more likely to get upset over being spoiled for a random greek story than Harry Potter, because the assumption is that it's so popular, anyone who hasn't seen it doesn't want to ever see it.
I think that once something becomes a meme, it's not a spoiler anymore - so the Trojan Horse for sure isn't a spoiler because that has made it into sayings in multiple languages and has extended meanings that go way past the original story, I'd say the 'I'm your father' one is meme-y enough to not be a spoiler anymore, but not too sure about Harry Potter as there's not many specific instances from those stories that are a wide-spread, multi-generational meme (which I judge by me not knowing any :P). The red wedding from GOT might get meme-ified at some point but it seems more likely that the wide-spread GOT related concept is a more general 'everyone dies' 😅
I’ve seen enough comedy shows to know that this is going to lead to a giant spoiler-off between Max and Charlie, both trying to one up each-other’s spoilers.
Oh, the sheer baldness of this idea! 😂 This video really took hair-raising revenge to a whole new level. It's like you created your own "spoiler alert" billboards walking around town! 😜🎬 I must admit, it's a pretty ingenious and naughty way to get back at someone, but maybe next time, don't go straight for the headliner. 😉 Keep making these hilariously mischievous videos and showing us that revenge is best served creatively! Can't wait to see what other wild pranks you have up your sleeve! 🦊✨
The fact that he didn't just not book the seat for the space dissapointed me. It would have been so funny if the space was just a random person unaware of the whole situation.
I once did something like this. My ex-Girlfriend told me that she would break up with me if I were bald. The key word there is “Ex”, so I shaved my head and i also shaved my beard like Heisenberg. Then I used my fedora all the time and was single, but damn was it funny.
Am I the only one who would watch the movie before the performance so I could actually understand the performance and be excited when something happens?
To be fair, spoilers are all around the internet after the episode is released but already after a good couple weeks, unless someone specifically mentions it to you or you look it up, you're probably safe. I had a friend spoil one of the important deaths in How to Get Away With Murder by accident, for example, and it had aired a while back, but unless you're that unlucky, you're usually fine
@@cuzimbanane Tbh me and most of the people I know haven't seen lion king, but we all know about Mufasa's death anyways. I'm a little surprised Charlie doesn't know but at the same time I can kinda believe it.
@@xvgm24 im pretty sure he did know and that him being annoyed was because he hired 12 people to come to a theatre and sit infront of him with a message. also if you know the name mufasa you know he dies.
I love your videos Max, as a small bit of constructive criticism I'd like to see a bit more of a de-nu-ma before cutting to black. Helps having a bit of a cooldown after such a high of silliness
