Iam's live vocals were already stellar, impeccable, and mesmerizing by itself. His tone and vibrato are his bread and butter. A studio recording is supposed to reflect a singer's vocals in its best state of being. Therefore, I could hardly wait for a producer to harvest, highlight and polish those agents within his voice. Equally, it is important for an artist to find songs that appeal to their strongest assets. This song is a solid start for his career. His voice is very warming, soothing, and hypnotic. This song did well in capturing that. I hope and wonder if fans will be treated to in-studio recordings of "Monsters" and "Sound of Silence". Both reflect him at his best. Lastly, I would love-love-love-love if Iam covered I Will Always Love You. IMHO, its a perfect vocal road map to highlight his distinct tone and soothing vibrato.

You also exude with Mana. Regarding death, everyone can relate to you in one way or another. We have all lost or will lose a loved one or many in life. That's what makes us human. No matter how it happens, it hurts for those of us left behind. To see others left behind hurts even more. Give your mom a hug for me. Like you, I lost my father at a very young age. A few days before graduation, I was informed he had stage 4 cancer and had 30-180 days to live. I remember looking out in the crowd on graduation day blessed with all the leis. It should have been a happy day for me. However, the only thing I was thinking is that the situation sucks because my dad would not be around to see me become a man and apply teachings from everyone I encountered in life including him and my mom. Giving his eulogy was the hardest thing I have ever done in my life as I was still a kid myself. It was horrifying to tell you the truth. Life goes on because it has too. I fulfilled a life long promise to him to take care of my mom as he knew his life was going to be cut short. I did it until the day she passed. Your dad played in important role in making you a great singer. Your mom however cracks me up. She took you to a different level. Again, again, again, again, again again! If you win, she will tell you practice made perfect. If you don't win, she will tell you again, again, again! I wish you the best of luck in your continued journey. As you continue down the path of life, always carry with you the good thoughts and qualities your loved ones have made part of your spirit. Thanks for making us laugh.
