Ian Moore performs "Satisfied" at Uncork The Love (a benefit for Vashon Community Care) at The Hardware Store Restaurant on Vashon Island. Oct 14th, 2015.
It is a sin against God, that Ian Moore isn't more widely known! He is forking ridiculous! He can play as well as about any guitarist out there, and can sing circles around pretty much any singer alive. And he has more soul that a choir full of gospel singers!
Ian...I've sang this song probably 200 times on stage...down here in little ol Beaumont TX. One of the best love songs ever written. I remember clear as a bell, the first time I saw you live. ....Houston, on new years eve,..you stopped a few minutes before midnight, and went backstage to have champagne with ur woman. (Excellent move by the way). Came back out and played ur heart out. I appreciate you little brother.
Amazing! Saw him in Tomball, TX a couple weeks ago and was blown away. I appreciate that he changes up the way he performs songs. Keeps it from getting repetitive and he ALWAYS puts 200% into his performance.
I met Ian Moore back in the early nineties when I became an operator engineer in my friend who is an ironworker said..."Hey we gotta go see this guy"...., so we piled into a car and went up to Cedar Rapids about 25 miles North of Iows City...I have a whistle that would sound like a fuse blowing on an old Marshall amplifier.... My name is Gerald Jones.... Ian, asked what I was on to make me whistle so loud, and I explained that I was on Alcoholic beverages, and nothing else.... Like some people whistle loud, but I do it a near glass shattering pitch...where your ears block it out... Deafening
Ian has changed... however he's better now and I believe that if you put a strat around his neck he would wail. So many so called musicians can't do this... a guitar, a mic, and heart.
+TheBurnout ....pretty sure everyone up here realizes what an amazing musician Ian is and we feel lucky to be able to see him play live whenever and wherever.
I moved from louisiana to seattle for a few years right when Ian made the move so it was perfect timing. I am sure they are starting to know him by now. I seen him play in front of a small crowd seemed like all family down in at some chinese looking place. What an amazing show.
I've heard Ian perform this song countless times as well and it's hardly "awful". With his current full band, it's even better, but there's nothing wrong with this version. To each their own I suppose.
@@RavenSky1013 I am sorry it is not your favorite...kinda surprised me at first as well...give it a second listen...turn it on and walk away...it is pretty amazing work
