Wow‼️Wow‼️ Unbelievable🔥 I genuinely respect you❣️ Let's play the drums together someday🥁🥁Until that day, I will continue to enjoy practicing the drums‼️
2人のドラマーと一緒にバンドでジャムするのは素晴らしいことです。多分志度との値段。 2人のドラマーと遊ぶのは特別な才能です。あなたはそれをすることができます!It's great to jam in a band with two drummers. Maybe prictice with Shido. Palying with 2 drummers is a special talent. You can do it! ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-sJhu8LC_k-s.html
Yoyoka dear. Being understated is the hallmark of an English gentleman. So, when he goes "great stuff" interspersed with monosyllabic laughs, you can rest assured that he is expressing genuine appreciation and deep admiration for your efforts. His post-performance comments bears that out. You stunned the legend with the greatest of compliments and it earned you a 99% rating.👏👏👏
My favorite line was "the best part is, she's having fun". And that is the best part. This girl absolutely LOVES playing those drums. Kudos to her parents as well. Talent like that must be nurtured. And they are doing a great job.
This year yoyoka had many overseas jobs and TV appearance schedules, but all of them disappeared due to the virus. At the end of a tough year you gave yoyoka the best gift.
A genuine Gentleman. Not only is he gracious enough to watch someone as talented as Yoyoka do a cover of a timeless piece of music of which he was one of the creators, but he is humble, endearing and generous with his praise of Yoyoka and you can see that he truly feels the joy that Yoyoka feels when she is playing. Mr Ian Paice, Thank you for the music, I have always been in awe of your musical talent, and enjoy watching your reactions, insights and the sharing of your incredible knowledge and experience with the wider musical community, whether they be professionals or beginners. I myself could never aspire to be a drummer, (I have hands that are the equivalent of a dancers two left feet), so i will be a professional listener and enjoyer of drumming. Yoyoka, well done!!! Very impressive indeed, you go from strength to strength in your playing, you are going to be a force to be reckoned with as you continue your amazing journey developing your skills (which are already incredible) and continue to amaze and bring joy to us who are grateful for you sharing your talent with us. To you both, Thank you and Happy New Year!!!
One of the greatest things about seeing these young kids playing some of the most classic tracks ever is the knowledge that this music still exists, it's still relevant, and it will live on forever! Long live Ian Paice, long live Deep Purple, long live ROCK AND ROLL!
Imagine that 11 year old girl in your spot at 1974 Calfornia Jam.! Wow, she's unbelievable and I'm sure she'll love the fact that have taken the time to watch her.
よよかちゃん やったね!貴方は世界が誇る「イアン・ペイス」をも唸らせてしまった😆日本を代表するドラマーとして偉業を成し遂げたって感じ👏私は素直に嬉しい!この才能が永遠に続くように願ってます。 Yoyoka-chan did it! You have made the world's proud "Ian Paice" groan 😆 I feel that you have achieved great achievements as a drummer representing Japan 👏 I am honestly happy! I hope this talent will last forever.
I knew this would blow Ian's mind!! I think he was truly surprised how good she is. He said more than once, "shes better than me" ! So glad he did this reaction. He is a truly fantastic and humble person :)
When the chief of Ian's Tribe speak, everybody just stood still and listen. And speak he does, with highest praise to his little padawan from Japan. I'm imagining now that Yoyoka and her parents are smiling from ear to ear from your praise. Thank you Ian for making today the day for me as well...
It's because she is completely self taught by ear. She has only started to learn how to read music recently. She doesn't copy the song 1:1 and adds her flavor to it. Also she learns the songs she plays on youtube usually in 1-3 hours by ear and plays it in one take. I'm glad she is now recognized by her talent and not just being a cute kid who can play the drums.
Wait till I tell Yoyoka that Ian Paice wants to meet her!! I'll wait till her dad gives a 48-hour notice of an upcoming upload and write it to him in Japanese. They usually read the first 20 or so comments. Yoyoka's work up until now has been nothing short of epic and genius, but that video there will be a groundbreaking turning point for her on the world stage. The sheer speed and precision....a whole new level.
@@morbidmanmusic Hmm, it's so close...on one side I got 50 likes....and on the other I got all of one sad morbid loner. Tough one. Yo mensa champ, she's already on it. You have trouble finding the place? You probably had to park a mile away. No more hangers....just throw your coat on the bed.
@@morbidmanmusic As Matt Foley used to say...I'm sorry, dad, but I can't see real good, is that Yoyoka up there behind the kit?... ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-aYRvYkTqauQ.html
That was amazing ... known Yoyoka for a while now, true force of nature. And to hear the great gentleman Ian Paice say these kind words. Yoyoka will be over the moon, I’m sure.
This is the thing about great musicians like Ian Paice. They are so secure and humble that it makes you appreciate them even more. Yoyoka is the real deal and I have been following her for a few years now.
Thank you Mr. Paice, I’ve been a huge fan of yours for over 40 years, and a huge fan of Yoyoka for about a year now - hope you get to meet her in person one day!
"The best thing is, she's having fun." Exactly! I've been following young Yoyoka for the past few years now on RU-vid. Not long after I initially learned of her, my reactions were similar to Ian's but more animated (they still are). I'd be watching her play the drums via my laptop with headphones plugged in - smiling, giggling, even laughing at times. All due to the enjoyment found in watching such a talented young person doing something they were born to do, but more importantly, truly enjoying doing so. That's the beauty of it in my mind. My wife would look over at me and get tickled. Then she'd ask "Are you watching the little drummer girl again?"
Yoyoka doesn't surprise me anymore. It seems there isn't anything she can't play. Mr Paice was the surprise here. What an extraordinary gentleman. I would love to see him and Yoyoka play together.
I have been a huge Ian Paice fan since the early 70's. When I saw Yoyoka's Burn cover pop up in my YT feed,I thought if she nails this, she is at a new level. She has done great Bonham and Peart covers, but this one was the master test.99% from Mr.Paice is just about as good as you could wish for. There are pro drummers in many big recording/touring bands that could not pull off what this 11 year old just did.
For you man , tribute to mr.Ian Paice : ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-9EoyirRQ-C8.html ,in my ear ,this Burn cover close to Ian Paice note: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-3PBDf-VuTks.html , respect to sir #IanPaice #Burn #DeepPurple
I always thought the drumming in Deep Purple was excellent but it is not until you see someone trying to play these monster songs accurately that you really apreciate how technically impressive they are.
I'd forgotten how frenetic the drums in this are. Haven't heard it for about twenty years. Ian Paice, just like the other members of Deep Purple, is an amazing musician & this track is a great legacy in itself. Yoyoka mastered it with her usual, apparent effortlessness & deserves all the praise she receives from Ian.
So glad you've been introduced to Yoyoka. She's really one-of-a-kind, she has an incredible feel for music and most important: she LOVES music and she shows a lot of respect for the greatests drummers like you. Deep Purple was one of the bands I fell immediatly in love back then, and hearing that music again thru a young person who discover it too is such a pleasure. Thank you Mr Paice.
This is why musicians are immortal. Long after we’re done and gone, the music, the legacy and most importantly... the inspiration for other’s to pick up sticks, a guitar, whatever, will survive. And there we are. Alive again in someone else’s world.
What might be overlooked here is how well she keeps time by opening/closing the hi-hat. While obviously often done by any drummer, during a workout like this I find it really quite cool. She has a lot going on and while she doesn't have it going all the time, when she does you would think she was a jazz pro. She does everything so smoothly that this is yet another detail in which she shows an exquisite mastery.
I'm very glad that Ian Paice mentioned her performance to not only drumming skills, but also having fun. I'd like to watch Ian perform drums with Yoyoka.
You should be so proud...it´s almost 50 years since the record and today a young generation is covering you...you have made history...✌️ And Yoyoka is fantastic...❤️
Yoyoka has a big heart Ian. I am a huge fan, I have been watching her from her age 7. Technique, stamina and strength have grown. She is a force of nature....
I've been a deep purple fan since 1973 . And have enjoyed listening to you play drums every since. You have been and will always remain one of my favorites. I've been listening to yoyo thats her nickname for a little over two years . You can see the joy in her eyes and as strange as it might seem it fills me with joy. Thanks for the kind words for yoyoka. Stay safe😷😁
When the original artist says you nailed it that must be a rush like no other. I originally asked her to do Space Trucking, but she did Burn. Wow, what talent!
He’s literally tearing up. Amazing and ya quite unbelievable for 11 years of age. Must be something they put in the food these days. LOLs. That can’t be good.... No it takes hours on end to pick up the sticks and practice practice practice... I think she started at 4 and became destined for greatness. Imagine another 5 years from now what she will be able to do. I think I heard that her parents are professional musicians. She was born into musical performance genius. Amazing how hard she nails those drums. Sticks way above her head. That takes absolute fitness. Thanks for doing this reaction Ian. She really does bring tears to ones eyes. Mind numbing good and fast...
7:36 "She's a frightening player already." This is the stamp of approval fans have been looking for. We are all music geeks, techs, drummers, industry people and all of us were pointing to her and yelling: "Mozart. She's a Percussive Genius." Well, now everyone in the drummer and musician community worldwide knows. Immense opportunities and potentials await. Fantastic music to be made. Going to be beautiful to watch.
You rarely see an artist of this caliber be so humble and appreciative of someone imitating him regardless of the age. It's one thing to reproduce almost perfectly but all the credit goes to the original artist. Ian Paice is truly inspirational in every sense of the word.
Wow , she's got it the right stuff. Ian Paice being the class act he is recording himself for her and all to see. So Glad I got interested in listening to music again and found Ian's work with a newfound interest in his body of work
@@sms95501 That's what I thought until I saw her next to her dad! I wonder if her insanely big sound warps our sense of her size behind the kit?? Just a theory ;o]
one of the things about yoyoka- aside from her awesome talent, is that she has a proper respect for the skills of those who have come before her. it is common for a young person to think they invented the world. some of us with much less talent, in any field, have had to be much older to realize that.
