Why are you making a reserves transfer when the questions doesn’t ask you to? I thought it is not mandatory

Thanks a lot. Question is had the revaluation downward of 31.12.15 been a revaluation upwards, like say $16,000, how would the depreciation figure for 2015 be calculated
