3:15 CAS experience 17:55 CAS project It has only been... 4(?) weeks of school and I've been stressing out about CAS, EE, and ToK, but thanks for the video.. really cleared things up!
Honestly the best CAS video i have seen. Saw it before i moved to the IB, and i am rewatching it now that my year has begun. Thanks so much for this, man.
bro start preparing right now its what I did. Instead of relaxing, use this time to study book ahead. Not all of the time obviously, you want to be alife when school begins.
You’ll be absolutely fine trust me!! If you want to prepare in advance then go for it👍👍 Try to enjoy your summer as well though cause these next two years aren’t a walk in the park that’s for sure.
na chill u only need to pass this shit, cas dont give any mark so just do the first shit you can think of and try to pass it i dont think i spent more than a coupe of hours per MONTH in this shit
Thanks for the great video! I have a question. I didn't see anything in the CAS guide about 16 experiences. Also, do the smaller CAS experiences have to be related to the CAS final project?
Hmm that’s strange. Based on the information I’ve been told all year you have to have a minimum of 16 experiences (this might just be our school’s general guideline though instead of an actual IB requirement but don’t quote me on that). About the CAS project, your experiences don’t need to be linked in any way to the CAS project, they can be totally different. Hope this helps!
I'm literally six months into my diploma program and I think I have been doing all of my CAS wrong. I never knew I had to write reflections and have experiences, I just take videos from time to time to prove the things I claim to have done...I don't know what to do now 😭should I start over?
I'm a senior and I'm further behind than you don't worry. Definitely don't start over, there must be a CAS advisor at your school you can meet with to ask about it. If not, maybe meet with a counselor?
@@jackrabbit4384 Well the thing is, I was the first DP student of this school, and they're not experienced at all. There is no training for CAS advisors so the advisor only had a document to read(and apparently did not read properly). Over these three weeks, I have already moved to another school and this new school told me to start DP again at August this year because my age is still young enough for that. Thank you though!!
I know it’s difficult but there are definitely some indoor activities you can do! Learning how to play an instrument or a 30 day push-up challenge are two great activities!
you can only get a diploma if you complete cas. cas doesn't have a grade, you only need to pass it, whereas tok and ee are scored from A to E each, and dependent on TOK EE matrix score (you can google it) you will get from 1 to 3 possible points. and they will add up to 42 possible points (7 in each subject). Dont stress, your teachers will guide you, just do everything as soon as they tell you
