@cherry zhang In the game Ib, because of her age, Ib sees the dolls as adorable bunny rabbits. Playing in her perspective, you see the bunnies when you enter the room. But because Garry is older, he sees them for what they truly are - terrifying dolls with red eyes and blue skin. Ib found the bunnies cute, and was confused on why Garry didn’t. When you play in Garry’s perspective, it is then when you see why he didn’t find them cute. Mary has lived in the gallery forever, and she sees the dolls as family. Of course she finds them cute. Hope this helped!
Fun fact about the storybook where this appears in Ib. There's an author listing, unlike pretty much every other book, but it doesn't show a name. It just says XXXX. It certainly couldn't be Guertena's work, because it wouldn't outright list an author, since these are all his works. Instead, it specifies it's an unknown other person... with four letters in their name... ...and uses crayon... I feel like there's only one person she could be.
There was a real manga about this game. Very very beautiful :) But, it was only appear in Japan I though. Because I haven't got any new information since I saw the manga's cover.
Considering that I have a severe phobia of humanoid objects, this tune is just terrifying. Their.... everywhere.... watching you... with those eyes..... and that unmoving smile...
Hearing this music makes me think of someone with a sad and tragic life remembering that they were happy and content in the distant past until something tragic happened that ended their happiness and put made their life so horribly tragic and angst filled. I also think of this music playing in a room with a chair in the middle with doll Aya sitting on the chair staring mindlessly into space. Her father has been dead for years in the setting but doll Aya remains as a reminder of what happened and serves as a last will and testament to her father's work.........
+ryan macdonald You do know this is originally an Ib soundtracj, don't you? It's originally played in the"Carrie Careless" story book that is a very iconic scene in the game, at least in my opinion. i have nothing agaisn"t mad father, but... well, let's just say I found it pretty... bad, yes that's the word, compared to Ib and the Witch"s house.
SPOILER!! OMG THE DESCRIPTION I DIED!!! sadly in ib I never found the key and I was SCREAMING because I didn't want Gary to die! Gary is my favorite character :3
For anyone wondering this wasn’t what the description was referring to, it was referring to the scene where ib read the book about the girl who thought she put a coin in her birthday cake as a surprise but actually put a key in there by accident. One of the girls at the parth swallowed the key and the girl before ripped her stomach out and got the key, after that she said “I found the keyyyy!!”
Sian McMenamin I see them as the cute little blue dolls, totally not scary or creepy in any way. I was confused when I noticed them being bunnies at first cause of Garry's reaction, but you get a blue doll to follow you.
Ok. #1: I need that music box. And #2: Destroy your sister’s music box because it will be really creepy if you understand everything that is happening in this song.
It laughs. Through the pain, the suffering and the insanity, it grins and giggles and taunts and shakes around and holds its sides as true, unfiltered laughter echoes through it. Within its walls, there is no true escape. For its occupants, it is an eternal prison. For its visitors, it is a hell from which there is no waking up. Come, let us embrace the lunacy of existence and enjoy this maddening world as new actors enter the stage. Witness: A red rose, so pure it brings tears to the eyes. A blue rose, one of selfless care that offers sanctuary. A yellow rose, one of our own creations weaved with hopeless longing. Laugh, cry, despair. No matter your mood and no matter your 'sane, rationale' thoughts, watch our little performance and become enraptured as we dangle hope just beyond your reach. *Welcome to the world of Guertena*
The little dolls are cute, but the big one (Red Eyes) is creepy. Mostly because of the doll room (Garry), it makes it creepy when it comes out **shudder**
And play this at 0.5 speed and feel a whole entire room of dolls stare at you with knifes...... i really should stop playing with the speed, I've never been more scared tbh
Papyrus 13 So there's like this gear looking thing, you click it and it leads you to Settings, then you click the 'Speed' bar and set it to the speed I mentioned above.
lyrics. Hey, can you hear me? I called out your name Where are you from? What is it that's brought you here? Why wont you answer me? I swear to play nice Isn't this fun? This game of hide-and-seek I only wanted to hear your voice Skin that's warm Eyes that cry I only wanted to see your smile Feel your touch It's been a while Long, long ago, I was a girl just like you Father loved me, kept me safe and beautiful Oh how I'd love to dance around just once more But these cold legs don't move anymore mad father.
If you go in the first doll room and inspect the shelves, one of them will contain a book/note that says (something along the lines of): "If your spirit suffers too much, you will start to hallucinate." Your first thought would be that either Ib or Garry is hallucinating, but you're not too sure which. Marry later confirms that the beings in the room are actually dolls, therefore leading you to know that Ib is the one hallucinating.
Same, I think gameplay is much more entertaining and interesting in Ib. Though in Mad Father I really like the story and the characters, I still like Ib more (there are more endings, the entire plot is simple but deep in the same time, game style is better).
Ib makes me feel some sort of way..it's like a mixture of utter terror and depression. The game is one of the most brilliant I've ever had the fortune of discovering. I love every character to the moon and back, and each ending is very emotional, especially my personal favorite, the 'Sacrifice' ending.
Honestly, I'm kinda surprised no one has yelled at you saying "SACRIFICE IS NON CANON IDIOT" but I won't hold that against you because it's an honest mistake. Although the atmosphere, for the most part, is absolutely _brilliant,_ I feel like Kouri could have composed the song for the Violet and Brown Areas a little better.
Kaiser Dragon oh, it's not canon? I thought it was added in a special version of the game; I watched a playthrough :0 but maybe it was fanmade? idk. And I agree. uwu
Gabrielle Timoteo Yeah, it's non- canon. Not only that, but Kouri wants all evidence of it destroyed. Actually, no, he just doesn't want people playing it.
Gabrielle Timoteo This is a very late response, but I honestly would welcome a change like Sacrifice. It adds two new ways to get old endings, which means more replay value, and it also adds a completely new ending, which means more replay value. It also adds more opportunities to develop these characters- and considering that Garry feels static, and rarely develops his character, this game could honestly use that. Combine that with the usual changes added between each update, and you'd have Ib 1.08 on your hands.
Its when the creepy part comes when he talks to her doll and ask if she likes the dress, kisses her head and said goodnight aya, my wonderful doll, leaves and that is when her doll theme comes in, it was sad and creepy and lovely at the same time, her dad loves her and did what he thought was best by turning her into a doll, which he had to kill her, though sad and creepy, he still loved her:'(
Very Nice how you made this because i love this music and i could never find one with the extended version. So thanks a lot and by the way nice picture you chose
Ib, apparently, was the only one who saw the dolls as bunnies. Garry saw them as they truly were and deemed them "creepy", but Mary, with her nature, thought they were "cute" even though she didn't say them as rabbits.
I found myself ib garry life and mary their life was so rugged it reminds me of a sad story a path no escape no one can hear my voice nor Who can see me and so i also feel somewhat understand lonely part of ib mary and garry
*that time you know how to get the ending and you proceed without saving (pro style) and you havin' hard time searching the keeey and after you get the key you alrdy fail it*
awsome :D i just wanted to know thanks!!btw it does give me a eerie vibe but i LOVE IT!!!I WANNA WATCH IT AGEN SOOOO BAD@!!!! and yes the music fits it perfectly and yes their shadows say more than that :D and i wonder why garry's shadow is Red Eyes ??the giant doll painting?he is out of it and it looks like Red eyes is controling garry don't you think?
This is so beautifull song!:3 and well, i used this to my ''scary moomin video'', you can watch it if you are from finland (because in that video, they speak finnish:p)
