Hello there, thanks for your message, I'm glad you liked! So about the guitar, it's all original, although I love EMG's I've decided to keep the original pickups as it sounded killer. *To get the tone you are interested, the vintage one, I normally use the second position, left to right (neck + middle pickup). They are: Neck pickup V7 (H) neck pickup (Passive/Ceramic) Middle pickup S1 (S) middle pickup (Passive/Alnico) Bridge pickup V8 (H) bridge pickup (Passive/Alnico) That time I was using pro tools, adding the baking track and recording all at once using only one track for the solo. No cuts, no editing. Mixing and Mastering a bit of course, and done. Pedals, simple reverb plus a little delay. Nothing fancy. For this video I used one of my ENGL's (which I'm endorsed by the way). Hopefully I was able to help. Cheers🤘🏻

Hey brother, thanks!☠️🤘🏼 I received this beautiful Japanese guitar almost ready to go.. But I did few adjustments to be the way I like. Did you get the same model? Because I know some Ibanez models has different kind of "bridges" nowadays (it's a bridge that you can lock it) so this way you not gonna be able to use your tremolo (so you have two options for the same bridge, "tremolo lock" or unlocked"). Sorry I have no idea of the correct name lol 😂🤦🏻‍♂️ Now if your model is a RG 550 Genesis (there is no "tremolo lock") so you might have to adjust the bridge to get what you want. @@lueysixty-six7300 lol hahah Yeah I just checked the guitar, I know which one is now..those guitars are killers buddy, I have the RG1070 PBZ (also Indonesian) and I know what you mean.. AMAZING guitars🥰🔥 But yes, the point of all this is how you setup the guitar bridge (the bridge they use in the Indonesian model is pretty good too) so with a good setup you can get almost the same result. All depends of how you setup the action of your strings plus the "caliber" of the strings you use, also the springs of the bridge..(I know....lot of details) 🤦🏻‍♂️🙆🏻‍♂️ But isn't that nightmare at all, believe me, for sure you can learn it..and once you get used to it, it will be simple. @@AhDA_Ah thanks for your thoughts and they do make sense. The only thing is that a novice trying a few guitars in a store can be a little intimidating, although I guess it depends on the store. With a guitar like this I totally appreciate that maintenance of the locking trem might be a learning curve.

@@michaeldean7220 Don't worrie about the store they are out there for this ;) About the maintenance, people say a lot of things about the bridge, Don't listen to them, if you like it go for it and learn how to use it and also how to setup. That's it, no secrets (people are lazy) lol 😁🔥 Do you like LP's? the new Epiphone line (inspired by Gibson) is amazing and I think you would love the 60's neck.
