So, the first Daigo parry was monumental because he parried the seemingly unparryable (In a tournament setting). Now, we think that Kikosho is unparryable... I want Daigo 2 to parry Justin's Kikosho and start the second revolution.
EVERYONE if you haven't you need to go and choose ibuki in training mode and just test out the moves and stuff the animations and movement and just everything is so goddamn cool seriously such an awesome design
I tried to main ibuki but man if some of those conversions and mixes aren't awkward, even the 3 kick special had me confused sometimes, I just stuck with my akuma and suck it up on all the bad matchups
It is a great game. I personally think the pixel art is as good as it gets. Everything from the characters, to the basic animations, to the supers, hell even the backgrounds are a pleasure to watch.
@@gipgap4 I see your point, but your kinda comparing apples to oranges. DNF uses 3-D models and backgrounds and therefore it's not exactly pixel art. It's like the difference between hand-drawn animation and CGI. Both can be very impressive but the skills and techniques used to create them are completely different.
Kinda true, but if you actually dive deep into it, you realize most of these tools are pretty situational and/or have big drawbacks you have to consider every time you use them, so compared to Chun's incredible buttons and busted Super, she's not as consistent or strong. Still, that doesn't really mean much, that Rangchu guy won Tekken World Tour as motherfucking Panda, against Knee's Devil Jin no less, so I'll just keep having fun with Ibuki regardless.
Ibuki in Third Strike is really cool honestly, underplayed for how good she actually is. As a character Ibuki is weird and has a high ceiling with a variety of tools and despite that she’s not gimmicky, quite the opposite in fact Ibuki might be the most well balanced character in the game with virtually all of her matchups being even or very close to even.
@@penguinmaster16 poor logic tbh. Especially if you ever ran into justin. The best way to beat a player much stronger is to take away his lab and tech and show him a look he rarely sees. You can see his frustration a couple times, meanwhile he would wash Ken because you ain't Daigo baybeeee
I main Ibuki in SF3 and though she is hard to play, I loved her move set, the low HP hurts though. can't make too many mistakes and live. This video made me happy and bought back good memories.
Waiting for the day when Justin goes to Japan and fights Mimora, RB, Kuni, or Yama!!! That would be a treat showing up to Game Newton or Game Spot Versus against the current 3S meta!!
At least he did'nt start double tapping to your right and to your left. Thats like 2x speed teleport. So annoying and confusing... Request = Can you do Last Blade 2. I feel like that game is one of SNKs best. I dont play it but i wish i did.
I just got a gaming pc and I can’t figure out how people play these fighting games! Steam only have recently release games. Can someone point me in the right direction so I can play 3rd strike?
Sadly thats the only game she has been really good. She was ok in SF4 and SF5. She doesn't play the same. In SF3 she is may main. She is so amazing. Best character there.
Commenting a lame fighting game pun/joke every day until Justin does the SFEX+α TARU and SFEX3 trials. Day 109: Ibuki is top tier among other Ninjas. Believe it!
For a game that has been the exact same since its release in '99, Ibuki has also been exactly the same? Like, what does "still strong" even mean in this context? 😆
@@nyleaustin1336 the game turned 23 in May... the meta hasn't developed in any real meaningful way since like... the mid-2000's. Ibuki is just as solid of a mid-tier as she was back in '09, the last year 3S was a main stage game at Evo.
@@dmaamr .......... this doesn't make any sense in the context of the statement at all. 1. While Ibuki is widely considered one of the best, if not THE best character in both NG and 2I, neither game ever really took off competitively 2. We're talking about the meta of a 23 year old game, which has been stale for over half of its lifespan. It's still a great game, and MY favorite SF game, but saying "Ibuki is still strong in 3S" is like... "I mean, yeah, she's solid... and?" Shit is just as clickbaity as a MvC2 tier list.
Meaning she’s just as strong as she was in past games. Maybe you already knew that but there’s other people who don’t. It’s just a video title man, I promise you’re looking way too hard at this.
I think the title is because Justin has been playing this game for a thousand years and "ibuki is still really strong" which, you know, is literally what the title says or maybe it's because in second impact ibuki is top tier and got nerfed quite a bit for third strike but specialists can still make her feel pretty unstoppable, justin here is playing the best character in the game and still having some issues with the mixups either way, it makes perfect sense to me but man for someone posting a question you are acting quite defensive when people try to come up with answers
Those supers were anything but big damage compared to her good super, and the no daigo parry shtick is super lame but nice to see the upload nonetheless
he's not doing it because it's good, believe it or not, some people play video games to have fun sometimes, you should try it also, the shtick is very funny as denoted by the whole ass fgc making references and connections to that moment in history for as many years as it's been, it's pretty timeless and absolutely on brand for Justin to make fun of it too
