My W210 is in Limp Home Mode, it keeps this situation after doing AFT OIl Change, Conductor Plate & 38-pin plug replacement. I'm reading somwhere that the TCM need to be reset and therefore looking for either: MB Star SDS C4 or some advanced Scanner Should I go for this iCarsoft CR-MAX to handle this job? Thx Advice.

Hi, thanks for your review. A simple question about the function "AFS - Self-learning process after replacing the air filter" showed on service menu (5:58). I think it is available in this version and also in the iCarsoft MB V3.0. Do you know something about this functions? Is it for setting after the air filter replacement as the professional MB diagnostic tools do? Thanks in advance

As far as im aware this function can only be performed on non-Mercedes models with the iCarSoft. You will need STAR diagnostic for that.

The trouble is with Mercedes scanning, each car differs with what you can/can't do. Alot of things are locked down. Compared to BMWs for example where you can code many things with 3rd party scanners.

I have bought one of these units. Great job but i want to know does anyone know if its ok to use and an OBD2 extension cable. If so what sort of maximun length will be ok to use with it.

Yes it should be an improvement, - make sure you update it upon activation however!

These dont work for the sprinters egr dpf injectors live data or engine cant be read i have one here with all updates and they do not read the 311 sprinters from 2007 to 2010

How do you download apps onto the device ?

If you sign in with your Google ID you can do it via the Play store on the device itself, or by downloading the .apk files and manually copying them across.

My cr max cant read the vin off an mercedes A class! Lots off buttons butt I think they dont work all! Cr max also failed on my jaguar xf! Never again an icarsoft

Seen better reviews on here we’re different task we’re try out and solved ,more fault diagnostics tried , all I got from this is what the buttons do , Sorry , Why are all the text with these only one on Mercedes’ strange

@@droneforfun5384 I am not part of iCarsoft, I have not been given a free unit, I have reviewed Carly, another brand (also not free unit). I approached them for a review unit. It is a review. I suggest you get your facts straight before being a keyboard warrior and accusing people of being untrustworthy.

So you have not teamed up with ”LJM Car Diagnostics”, giving customers discount if they decide to buy a unit? To be trustworthy and independant, you should not have any relation with supplier selling the units. Thanks.

@@droneforfun5384 Yes I have which is obvious from the video. Which is why I'm happy to over my viewers a discount code on the device. Exactly the same as I have with their competitors (see my Carly video for a discount code off that unit also). Glad you enjoyed my REVIEWS!
