it kinda hurts to see the gaps in his sonar network, but I can't play the game, so I deal with it. and then hear him wonder how they got through...I would likely do something stupid and screw up something myself, so I Can't exactly criticize him to much.

At 16:40, nice South American SSBN parked right next to Mexico. Still there at 17:35. 29:20, Russian ship in the middle of the perimeter. Still visible at 33:27. The South American SSBN at 32:20? Hopefully the one from 16:40. And 34:58, European ship hopefully having destroyed the Russian one. Those picket lines of destroyers look nice but boy could they use some attention.

Even worse, they absolutely NEED attention. Subs have superior sonar range, so they can see the destroyers, find the gaps, and sail right through. An incomplete DD barrier is merely a minor inconvenience for SSBNs. Even worse, those picket lines aren't backed by anything. If an enemy wanted to fight, they could blow a hole in there, without fear of retribution. No carriers with planes, no bombers from inland airfields, no mobile DD packs to pick them off, and no missile crawlers to launch from inland (but then again, IDK if the latter are available with conventional ordnance). It's just painful.

@@maxelsoro6292 If the enemy advanced in Silent Engines line, then the ranges of Stealth's sonars are not really representative. These are the "expected" ranges that vary depending on the specific enemy unit and tech available to the enemy. It's like with stealth airplanes - they could be in range of you radars but you still do not see them.

Maybe try a run with silos only, rushing MIRVs and splattering everyone on the first shot.

Have two strike plans, one to wipe out defenses/weapons, the other to wipe out populations. Go country by country. Downside is that you need the defensive infrastructure to deal with any counter punches from countries you haven't glassed yet

From my experience during the demo SAMs should be used as defense in depth - have a line of them across likely ICBM paths so that 2-3+ can each shoot at an incoming missile like your last East Asia video.

I had a sub one time that was such a lone wolf, it kept going around in the Indian Ocean annihilating my enemies and their carriers until it got sunk by a nuclear explosion💀

I think the issue vs Europe wasn't that the SSMs were bad, but that Europe had ABMs on their SAMs. This allowed them to intercept the singular missiles. When your cruiser got involved, it overwhelmed their ABM capabilities and let you make progress. All of which is a little weird, since ABMs are normally used against ballistic missiles rather than cruise missiles.

is there any reason you don't set up a daisy chain of sats on the same orbital inclination over your mainland territory so you have more consistent laser sat coverage to defend your cities?

It would require lots of satelites? And When they are over your mainland, they aren't in their space stage any more, so satelites can't kill them

2-3 airbases would help a lot. If the enemy gets ALCM's, then they can blow apart your early warnings. Also..for every three SAM's, have another one behind them, to catch "leakers."

It's a little frustrating to watch you be confused about how the subs are getting through your sub net, but you've got big gaping holes, and you never cleaned the inside of the net to begin with

Exactly, and he KNOWS that DD sonar is inferior to subs. He exploited that to kill ships, or to sneak around them, in other sessions, too.

good tactic against subs, carrier with awacs helo, attack plan constantly running for carriers targeting subs, the helo will automatically fly out and wreck it. much better range, and the helo has what i beleive to be the best sonar range in game

maby this is just the american in me, but why would you stop at just two aircraft carrier groups? they are mobile air bases! why not have like 10 or so. that way you can literally have a carrier group off of the shore of all of the continents.

The problem is that carrier bombers are... bad. Short range, and they can't carry big atom bombs (only small, tactical nukes). So the carriers are good for destroying tactical assets, but for attacking cities on different continent you still need normal airports with strategic bombers... or ICBMs. Or both

@Stealth17Gaming, Pretty sure the SSM's on Submarines is designed for them to kill Destroyers at range as well as boomers that are surfaced. Also be sure to turn on ALL of the Cruisers systems, they have OTH RADAR as well as Space RADAR onboard, they are extremely potent systems wise.

The missiles on subs are quite good but not against hardened targets like silos. Silos have high defence because they are supposed to be underground so you need to use at least tactical nukes against them to do any meaningful damage, on the other hand radars of all kinds, SAMs and ships that can't see you but that you can hit from 1650km away are all quite susceptible to being bombarded by subs.

Stealth you gonna need airfields 3+ with stealth planes and adv air to air missiles to have interceptors for enemy bombers +B2s with cruise missiles is good tool to kill enemy infr with conventional munitions AWACS helps and patch up that radar hole inside your territory add more SAMs around your cities

Cool game I actually bought it last night. however after playing it for a while I have found out I like it better watching others play it. Not sure what the dev has in mind though but I think it would be cool to actually take over other territories instead of just blasting them into obilion. I would like to see ground units etc....

its weird how you're really unattentive in this game and let things slip through regularly, but are laser focused in wargame and almost never do

I wish you could explain more SLOWLY about what you are doing. Please explain each ship's capability is, once you upgrade them, because you move so fast and your knowledge of the game is so great, that I just can't keep up with everything you are doing and saying. For example: how are you attacking detected enemy subs? Is it done automatically by your destroyers? When I play the game, I find that I must select 1) Torpedo, or 2) another upgraded weapon (your destroyers have 3 advanced weapons, besides the basic torpedoes, that you have upgraded on the Technology Tree), and then Left Click on the target, and FINALLY hit the "Play" button. You do it so fast that I am wondering if I am doing something wrong. Does the destroyer pick which weapon to use and then attack the sub automatically? Again, you do it so fast that it must be done automatically by the destroyer.

Full isolation, as in no military aid through our lend/lease program? If so , a lot more of Europe would either be speaking Russian or German depending on how you look at it, without our help Brits would have been in trouble and then Germany might have turned their focus on Russia a bit harder. It all depends on if they took Moscow and what happened in North Africa / Middle East because you can't fight a war without oil and Japan and Germany have hardly any.
