Congratulations Callie! I understand..I was a DON for skilled nursing for years. Love the wonderful treasures yoi found. Your little man from the pickers sounds charming. Sounds like he enjoyed your visit. Have fun stitching. Been in many days with subzero temperatures and ice here in Missouri. So grateful to be retired and don't have the worries. Stitch on Heifers!

Wow Callie! That was quite a find! Some beautiful fabrics and I’m sure you will find some good charts in the binders! We’ve had some ice and very cold weather in the St. Louis area last week too! I have been doing a lot of stitching and staying in the house keeping warm! Have a great 2 weeks!

❤❤❤I love the Prairie Life Sampler!! I'm an Activity Coordinator for a Memory Care Unit. All of the residents LOVE listening to me read The Little House on the Prairie books! We started in October '22 with book 1, and we're now in book 7. I think I need to join your SAL to commemorate reading to my peeps AND celebrating your birthday! 🎉

I made one of the project bags with the plastic in the front. Believe me if I can do it you surely can. I just watched a lady on you tube and made me one. I love you tube and especially floss bossin' cousins!!! Cross stitch, tv and something to drink!! LOL

Here in Eugene, Oregon we had an inch of snow, then it was topped with freezing rain for 4 days. It got down to 19 at night. The last night of freezing rain was finally to much for the trees so we heard branches breaking all night long. Sadly, we lost one whole side of one of my favorite trees. From our yard we can see lots of large broken branches in our neighbors yards. Most of our area lost power for a couple of days but our lights only flickered occationally. Would you believe it was 50 last night! Crazy weather! I am doing a winter stitch, The Fox by Cottage Garden Samplings. The fox is done and all I have left to stitch are the trees & snowflakes. I'm not putting the cabin on my stitch.

Thanks for sharing. I'm in Oregon, and we are still recovering from an ice storm. Many are still without power. I was without lights and heat for 5 days. It was 39 degrees inside my house. I was able to stitch a little while mid day when I had enough light. I don't know how those stitchers of the antique samplers did it because I'm here to say stitching by candlelight isn't happening! I'm grateful to be warm and comfy in my stitching chair again and watching your video!

Got stitching done here to, we had -20 and -30 here in South Dakota. When it hurts to breath outside you stay in and stitch. Hope it warms up there. Congratulations on new job and more time to stitch. Happy stitching.

I live just north of Chattanooga and we got snow which was then topped off with several inches of ice! It was so cold I didn’t think it was ever going to melt!! I did get lots of stitching done though😊 I always enjoy your videos. Thanks for taking the time to share your stitching with us

You got some beautiful fabric. You can’t find the 16 count doubloon PTP fabric anywhere because I’ve looked. All the PTP fabric you showed is so pretty. Thanks for sharing. Seeing the fabric in person (sort of) is helping make decisions on what colors I would order in the future. I enjoyed seeing your WIPS. I love the piece by Jeanette Douglas. Hope it warms up for you. Did someone say birthday start?! I love little house on the prairie too. I had no idea they had a sampler! Must find it now! Great finds on the fabric and a vintage Singer Pinker! Love finding a deal. The wandering stitcher hit the jack pot with blackbird kits! So jealous! Getting back to my crafting after the Texas cold and all the decorating, l Want to join you all on a heifer board and maybe put a few tasks on it as well. It’ll be an 11 month schedule since I missed January! Stay warm and do what you love!

Sorry you had to deal with the ice down there but glad you safely made it home Callie! The Aida parade was so much fun! I stitch on all kinds of counts and those small pieces will make great ornaments or smalls for friends! Christy I loved your stitching you showed with the needlework things? Sweet Video Ladies! Enjoyed spending some time with you! Great haul Callie! Super finds! We've been in a deep freeze here in New York too. 3-4 degrees every morning and a high of 14. Suppose to start warming up to the 30's and 40's by the weekend. It's been a crazy winter for sure! We haven't had much of that ice that you got tho thank goodness! Hugs to you both, Carolyn

My house is on blocks. I fought with the cause of a town WATER PRESSURE dropped. I found out 2 days later it was settlement in my hydrant screens! All these FREEZING temperatures has me stressed...
