Ice Maker Not Working? Revive it with an Inlet Water Valve Replacement 

This video looks at testing your existing inlet water valve with a multimeter reader. Once it is determined that it is faulty, we will walk through the easy replacement of it. Once replaced, your ice maker will happily begin to churn ice again.
We may not be licensed plumbers or repair persons, but we are capable of making simple household repairs. Save on minor repairs like these and do them yourself. Of course, you are the best judge of your capability. :)
