For a bit of background, Vectors is a type of imaging format, along with Raster. Vector renders images using special geometry, so when you zoom in and out it doesn’t lose any quality or definition (like normal picture does).

Finally! You finally used Affinity Designer! Been waiting for your videos with that tool and this one looks great Gal! I'm surprised you didn't use any of your usual "noise" type fills/brushes to paint inside your shapes though (since AD has both raster and vector ones that do that)

Hi Gal, never used vector before and I'm trying to follow along with you using Vectornator. I can't understand what you did when you put the black onto the penguin body and then somehow masked it so that the black was only showing on the white body.. Is it something real simple?? Hey Richie! With Affinity Designer you can just open the layers menu and drag one layer on top of another to quickly apply a mask! 🙂

Well, when I working with Illustratir I’m like “what the f**** is going on?” And when I working with affinity I am like “It is the simplest to understand software in the world!” Because when I started to use them I just started to work and like in one day I was able to do my vector staff with that software.
