I make boat seats for Crane interior Woodbury TN. We can make whatever seat you want custom vinals. We have scrap from an old Yamaha boat that might match that yellow green you have therr
That is an awesome build . I'm definitely trying to get one off the ground. I found a gen1, but sadly all in shambles .......no exhaust keys intake crankcase cover and the list goes on .I've got my work cut out for me
About how far would u say the left strut is from the tire, I just got a Gen 1 and the left strut is rubbing the tire. And yeah the people at Cajun maddogs are nice, same place I ordered from
same kinda question of k smoothz3. about to get one myself over here in Hawaii but was wondering how you extend and lower it more then they already come? I know its not just the shock, was thinking you take out the lower brace that comes painted black and get some sort of engine mount/frame bracket weld? looked on chuckuslife aswell no info on it...
+daily_risked you can get a lower shock that makes it look a little longer. The 11" seems to work for most but makes you a lot lower. chuckuslife.com has a whole shock section. Also please join the Chuckus Life Facebook Group so you can ask to see examples.
How well does the bike do with the Single Shock? I work for Lobo Scooter in Albuquerque, NM and about to pickup a 2015 but was thinking if I'm going to be modding the hell out of it, just get the 2014 we currently have. Worked on plenty but notice when I have the right shock removed it does drop a little. Didn't know if it was putting too much pressure on the hub bearing with the wide Tire. LMK. lol The one we have currently for sale (which we sell at least 5 a month) is the same Green as yours.
We have an active Facebook group called Chuckus Life and a website www.chuckuslife.com that has tons of info. If you go single shock I suggest a upgraded shock, a new hub short axle and a new wheel. the website explains this in detail.
I was wondering does the IceBear Maddogg Ruckus Clone have a Vin number, can I register these scooter with the local DMV. I am planning to get one of these, still undecided which one should i get, between the original Honda Ruckus or the clone.
Maces Mcloud I have a generation 4. ......it is licensed in Washington state, but at first they were hesitant to accept the MCO because the name of the company didn't come up in the computer. I told them it was a Roketa and they accepted that.
I happened to try this mod (removing the can enclosure) and the bike seems to breathe better but when I ride it now it starts getting choked up around 48mpg. It seems like maybe its bringing in too much air now. Should I maybe install a larger jet to get a richer fuel/air mix? Your Thoughts?
If you put a gy6 on a Ruckus then technically they are no different. The reason to buy a real Ruckus is for the Reliable Honda Motor. But if you take the motor off and out a gy6 on it then it's no longer a Reliable Honda. Ya dig?
My guess is he just bought a *BBK* (Big bore kit) pretty much a bolt on application. Just search ebay or amazon or whatever scooter site you know of for *GY6 171cc (61mm)* kit
I own one of these Gen4's. One cool aspect about this model is it already addresses many of the upgrades Ruckus owners pay $1000+ for but these come that way from the factory (straight style handlebars, longer frame, 150cc motor, etc). The overall quality isn't as good as a Honda but in my opinion its the best bang for the buck. Reply
