I'm a soft water sailor, five decades in and a friend has offered to get me on the ice... I'm super excited. But might have to either be patient here in MD, for the cold... or travel west. Inches off the ice ...the feel of speed has to be a mind blowing rush. I am grinning just thinking about it.

My grantfather did it and i did it as well, it is going so fast! In the Netherlands it was common, now it is rare.
