I was on this live show. It was amazing. Far better live than on record. This event completely convinced me that he is great singer. Matt has great sound indeed, but Stu is great afterall. Iced earth always had great singers, but Matt sounds best on studio records. Wow... even remembering on ths action reminds me the pain of my neck i suffered next week :D
@ArticNick Brent is one awesome drummer. He has great footwork, fills with snare he perfeclty using cymbals. I know Iced Earth only few months, but songs which he recorded he did perfect job on drums.
@Caught1nAMosh Thanks man. My camera is a little bit weird :D. It completly ignore the big noise and record just pure voice and instruments but without bass guitar :/.
@KakiztoXavier Matthew went out because he wanted it... and no one knows if he only wanted to take a little vacation... It means if he wants to come back, he'll do it! And the most of Iced Earth's fans knows he is the best vocals ever!!!!! LOL
Yeah Stu is alot better live then on the albums even when i saw him live when he was in Into Eternity but the new album didn't sound that great vocal wise because it was not just stu on it. They had different people doing it and they were looking for a certain sound. On their next album with Stu it will probably sound better.
The promoters screwed their job. Iced Earth is not as known here as it deservers, but after the concert many people told me that they were surprised that there was such concert ...
@TheSteve4m your opinion, I like Rippers vocals, but he never did overly well in any band I've heard him in, especially Judas Priest... That was terrible.
ripper ownes is the best singer in the World ever ever hands down'' rob Halford is the metal god'' but ripper smokes all them stu is not even in the same breath as ripper
