This was the soundtrack song of my 87-88 school holidays. Playing cricket in the street after dinner (when it was cooler) with the neighbours, blasting out man of colours on cassette on the boom box. Awesome times in the 80s with awesome Aussie music too. We were spoiled for choice back then - icehouse, inxs, oils, noiseworks - so many good albums to play over that summer. Only repeated again in Sept ‘91 when we had that huge wave as grunge took off. Iva is such a talented writer, composer & performer. He brought together some great people to perform with him as Icehouse. Still one of my favourite bands.
This is the 2nd time ever I have seen this video! I remember the weekend it premiered on MTV, the New York offices had a fire and they lost a lot of their music media. This was included. This is awesome!
