So here is my winter checklist to ensure you get THE MOST out of your visit here.

From USA, I had a long flight layover in Iceland, so I decided to extend it and I will be there for 2 days. This was so helpful for someone like me...worried of the cold and unknown but now I am so excited and look forward to my short trip there! By the way you smile and energy is so refreshing and so beautiful!

Hey I'm from Germany. My mum and me visited Iceland in the summer holidays (last year) for 12 days. We drove along the ring road and we just loved it. Iceland is the most beautiful I've ever seen yet! Hope we're going there in the winter months to see the northern lights!

As always, great video! And it's always so cute to hear you pronounce the Icelandic names. (: I'll be back in Iceland in two weeks, so looking forward to it. I've been living there for almost two years and I'm so glad to be able to visit my friends back there again and just to be happy because Iceland is and will always be my happy place.

Just back from a week away in Iceland and discovered your channel only yesterday! I have the total holiday blues and feel somewhat homesick for a place that isn't my home! We managed to do a fair bit of the list except from the Blue Lagoon, which we swapped for the Secret Lagoon on our Golden Circle tour. We loved it so much we're hoping to go again next year - so I'm glad I found your channel for some more inspiration for when we go away again ❤️🇮🇸!

Hi Sorelle, I'm a photographer/videographer from San Francisco, CA. I just booked my flight to Iceland ( Feb 7th through 12th) very last minute. So I wasn't going to plan anything for this trip until I stumbled upon your video. Thank you for the great info! I think it will help my 5 day long hitch-hike journey. Cheers!

I'd say so! This is basically mostly everything you need to know. Hitchhiking is pretty cool in this country as well. Just dress warm in case you have to wait a while in between rides :) Have fun!!!

An American, living in Switzerland (you asked....). Anyway, our second visit to Iceland was in Jan. of '17. We spent a few days in Husavik and did day trips to Myvatn and a few other places. It was great being the only people on top of the volcano or by the lake and/or ocean. So cool! We can hardly wait to come back for visit #3.... we love direct flights!
