Iceman Cometh is a 30 mile race in Northern Michigan that takes place on the first weekend of November every year for the past 33 year.
It’s history is matched by only a few events and it’s participation isn’t at all with over 5,500 racers!

Revisiting this video. Man. Iceman is just a different vibe. It's an every man race. It's a culmination of so much hard work for so many people. Pros or first timers. The love in this one is real.

Incredible promo for something motivational, fun, and that you love. Well done. I'm glad to see that social sport is still w/ us. Had my time in the "80's and on on first mtn bikes, t-shirts and baggy shorts, and the idea was to just have fun, friendly competitive nature to spice the play. Have a ball and make friends.

That was awesome! Always enjoy your story telling and your down to earth nature of sport. I grew up with the early 90’s mtb racing where it was intense but still welcoming. When that changed in late 90’s, I stopped riding altogether and switched to ultra trail running where is was just a band of crazies running obscene amounts in the mountains. Now I’m back to riding during Covid because of influence like you and others that don’t take it all so seriously but only when racing! Thanks

No issues with assembly for me ru-vid.comUgkxHL1v1R3NE5x4KiYfyt8dnQmyNYz7qi5L but I could see where some might benefit from using an experienced bike assembler/mechanic. I'm an older rider starting back after a 10 year break. This bike exceeds my capabilities and has been easy to get comfortable riding. I'm mostly on easy trails with almost no street riding and have not been disappointed with the performance of the bike. My fitness level is far below what I previously rode with and because of that the mileage is going on the bike slowly. While I'm losing weight slowly, the bike seems to tolerate my 220 pounds just fine. The bike has been used by several family members ranging from 5'5" - 5'9".
