Despite the lack of elevation we have here in Michigan, have you ever wondered where the longest downhill MTB trail is? Look no further... we found it! All the way up at the top of the upper peninsula, you'll find Copper Harbor. While the town is small, the bike scene is not! Climb, or shuttle, your way to the top of Brockway Mountain to start your descent on what I believe is the longest downhill trail in Michigan!
Starting on The Flow, we will use this as a connector to reach the first main trial. Upon the first intersection, you'll take a left onto Raptor Ridge. This is a very fast and flowy trail with a few jumps along the way. You'll cross over the road and continue on Raptor Ridge until you see the big wooden drop. From here, you'll jump onto Danimal and ride this down to Garden Brook. Take this all way to 41, where you'll cross over the road and ride Copper Harbor Loop back to town. This will long you a near 4 MILE descent!
Is there a longer DH run in Michigan? Let me know down in the comments! Im curious to know for both length, and elevation!
