@Don’t at Me the Bleach Novels (Can't Fear Your Own World) actually reveal that Fullbringer aren't the result of Hollow attacks, but *instead* have a piece of the Soul King within them, which drives Hollows to attack their mother. So Fullbringer= Soul King Piece+Mother Attacked By Hollow.
@@kenctchannel Makes sense considering…it’s hell, probably the only place in fiction where nonsensical hijinx and purely disgusting writing, can be perfectly understandable
It's funny how in the anime, Ichigo's first fullbringer looks like four letter T fused together but in the manga, it's a literal swastica. I know it's because of censorship but still.
@@KaiserAfini you got it all wrong. the entire time since start of soul society ark he has been using only quincy powers, and then just a bit of hollow.
Really liked his 2nd form that is rampaging out of control when vs Jackie The way he used his spirit force to long range grab and choke Jackie Gave me the feel like he can use a form form while having the intangible "flaming spirit force" to be shapeshifted to anything he wants So he could basically do a long range Melee if he can form it to a long arm with a sword or used it to grab surroundings
Honestly the final form of his fullbring should have been the second form and his second form (the shinigami one) should have been his final form because it would be like he really is gaining his soul reaper powers back.
@@brianw8066 His power source is shinigami and hollow. They basically not seperatable and always have been merged since Ichigo's birth. There is more to it but it is so far manga only.
You know I always thought the concept of fullbring was really unique. The whole cherished item being the source of power and all the unique abilities it could have showcased. I feel like Kubo should have never put this in Bleach and just went with a story around this kind of power and people. It seemed to just really throw the story of Bleach off and was sadly just discarded all too quickly.
Uh no it felt like it was a completely different series. You lost like 90% of the cast and introduced a completely different power system. Narratively nothing changed. But these changes felt like a huge change of pace. Felt off.
@@Strider1Wilco I mean, the power system was essentially showcased early in the series with Orihime. Her cherished hair pins are where her powers were centered. Chad's "cherished item" was essentially the powerful body that his grandpa praised when used to help other people.
Ichigo has shinigami, hollow, Quincy, and full bring powers towards the end of the series. Kubo probably did that to at least make the full bring look like it was still relevant even though it really wasn’t after the fullbring arc.
1:24 imagine if they skipped to that being his tybw incomplete form and instead of waiting till tybw they made it happen then and then they would make it in tybw it would look how it is suppsoed to that would be nice
@@sulitngaba8672 That had more meaning to it. He was a reincarnation of Asura who relied on the power of numbers rather than raw strength. It also helped him perfect rasegan as well as other jutsu. I use to love bleach but I got tired of getsuga tensho after the third time…
those spinning that he was using as a fullbringer disks was a new attack. He uses getsuga while he was in this form and it looked completely different from those spinning disks. His getsuga in human form looked like it had electric properties. Why would you even expect him to learn dozens of moves after his training? He wasnt a fullbringer for very long and none of the other fulbringers could teach him new attacks because they all have different fullbrings. The main goal of his training was to regain his soul reaper powers. Also, why wouldnt he use a powerful move like getsuga tensho? Literally every anime protag has a signature move that they spam. Do you take issue with goku still using the Kahmehameha? How do you feel about Yususke and his spirit gun? Plus, he does have the cero, and he uses the getsuga gran ray cero in the last arc in the manga.
wait wait wait!!!!! in his second form his full bring zanpato has the space in between the blade....like his true zanpakto has, wow i just peeped that, was he taping into his true zapakto here vevn before the 1000 blood war arc?
Zangetsu is involved in two sense one zangetsu being the name of the single being that represents Ichigo power(which has two minds) also that his fullbring was merging with his shingami powers aka why the attack power of his fullbring was called getsuga tenshou and also why it felt like it from the start and took the form of zangetsu guard in the first stage because zangetsu is just the name of Ichigo kurosaki power,
the swastika is innately a symbol of peace, used in many religions including Hinduism which I follow. Hitler fucked that symbol up for almost the entire world
I think what OP is saying is that the Fullbring Arc is like the "Spider-Man: Far From Home" of Bleach. Like it started after the "Endgame" of the series that is the Aizen arc (excluding the filler arc that came afterwards in the anime), so comparing Fullbring to Aizen seems mid but it was a neat concept overall. I mean, c'mon, was Kubo really going to end the series with Ichigo being powerless?
I always thought it would be cool if he was able to use his fullbring powers in his human form after. It would be mostly pointless but still kinds cool.
@@drumanaut right? I just wish he had gotten to do something-ANYTHING - with them. Let them replace his shikai and be his new first level transformation for dealing with lower class foes, then had a modified form of his bankai that incorporates some features of his fullbring, which I think we sort of see when he gets his powers restored. But I wish they had just done more with it
They tried real hard to not make it obvious his swordguard is a swastika, the Hindu symbol for spiritual power, in the anime. People still strongly associate it with Nazi who stole the symbol and twisted it.
Did his fullbring even have an official name? I haven't read the manga, and I was disappointed he didn't have a name to summon for it when he used it. Ginjo did tell him that all he needed was a name now that he fully manifested it.
Probably zangetsu, you know the same name as his hollow, Quincy and shingami powers all held same as fullbring having getsuga tenshou as the attack name
No because Ichigo mixed it with his shinigami powers before it could be named. Although it likely would be 'combat pass' as that is what he uses to initiate it, and Ichigo is not one to make up fancier names for stuff. That would be just like Ginjo, who uses his pendant 'cross of scaffold' for his fullbring. At this point it does not matter since he can no longer use fullbring standalone.
his first form was meh his second form was almost a living form of his original shikai before he went to soul society his third form looks like something alongs the lines of hell verse where the hell king granted him armor and his full bring shikai was a condensed version of his shikai but with a dedicated handle as before his original ShiKai was just the metal also ichigo had reishi spiritual restriction band across his neck
Arc 1: Ichigo, you're a human with spiritual awareness. Arc 2: Ichigo, you're a Human-Shinigami hybrid. Arc 3: Ichigo, you're a Human-Shinigami-Hollow hybrid. Arc 4: Ichigo, you're a Human-Shinigami-Hollow-Fullbringer hybrid. Arc 5: Ichigo, you're a Human-Shinigami-Hollow-Fullbringer-Quincy hybrid. I wouldn't be surprised if the Hell arc comes out and we find out Ichigo has some sinner blood.
A plan that went through and created a being that could harness 4 different kind of powers. Combining the powers of a Shinigami, a Hollow, a Quincy and a Human. The result? One of the most powerful beings in the Bleach universe, who rapidly matured. And... that is it. Ichigo is a strong Shinigami. Captain level. Not beyond Captain. And his powers are monotone. Nothing you wouldn't expect from a Shinigami. Actually that is a bit insulting. Shinigami learn lots of tricks along the way. Ichigo is a one trick pony. Blame that on his rushed training, it doesn't change the fact that his powers are super simple and straight forward. One trick pony with thin plot armor. For being the ultimate chimera that combines 4 fundamentally opposing forces, Ichigo turned out absolutely monotone. Ichigo developed his shikigami powers. The Hollow powers pushed the Shinkigami powers to a new height like a turbo booster, and were subsumed into the shikigami powers. The human powers recreate and support the shikigami powers. When Ichigo gets his shikigami powers restored ... nothing. Ichigo isn't any different than when this arc started. Being a Quincy probably made this all possible, but it isn't significantly different in any way from just being a Shikigami. In a lot of ways, the 13 captains of Soul Society are as or more impressive than Ichigo. The only thing that stands out about Ichigo is how fast he got to that power level, and if you dropped a strong willed shikigami into the same training, with the same opponent and same mentors he might of gotten the same progress.
@@MikeTheGamer77 I do like Ichigo. I dislike the convoluted backstory that provides nothing other than motivations for Ichigo to get revenge on a few major characters. Like what is the point of the super origin story when he doesn't make him different than any of the Visored?
Well, kaien is a good model for what ichigo as only shinigami would be, so yeah he's kinda just, twice that at half the speed. I mean, he certainly is way above captain level in power, but lacking the skill. In power he rivals zero squad or Yamamoto, or surpasses them by end series. But given kaien's speed and isshin flicking aizen around, I'll definitely agree his powers were just added together rather than multiplied
I agree, even hisagi manages to be more interesting than him when he only uses a normal sword most of the time. The best uses of shinigami powers are Byakuya in the social society arc, using his sword and its abilities as well as bakudo and kido and Flashstep/shunpo
I just wish I didn’t get tired of getsuga tensho after the third time he uses it. Ichigo used that ability more than Luffy has used any one of his attacks and Luffy is still using them after 20 years…
What's the point of ichigo getting new powers lol..the only attack he does is getsuga lmaooo..no kids, no different techniques inlook back and I'm shocked at how much I love this series despite the character being so one dimensional
he was using a different attack when he was using his full bring powers. those black disks were different from his getsuga. Also, he was trying to get those new powers in order to awaken his soul reaper abilities. His fullbring was supposed to naturally awaken his dormant soul reaper powers and then fuse the two. He really wasnt going into this with the expectation that he would learn 80 new attacks. Why would you even expect him to learn dozens of new attacks after his training? He was a fullbringer for a short period of time and none of the other full bringers could teach him new attacks because they all have different types of fullbring.
@@JoeDirtisawsome it's still a variation of Getsuga tenshou. It's also because Ichigo is always on a time crunch when he's training, there is also TYBW lore reasons why. You'll see what I mean
Ichigo literally ass pulls any and every power/ability in known existence 😂 Hollow, Soul Reaper, Quincy, Bankai, Full Bring, and fusions of all of them 😂 Dude had the strongest Plot Armor I’ve ever seen besides Naruto
it wasnt offensive since that symbol has been around far longer in Japan and means something entirely different. But you cant help that we live in a sensitive world where people are mostly mental midgets who cry over and over at stupid things.
@@ambro3075 See you are exactly the kind of guys I was talking about, throwing around terms like mental midgets and claiming people cry over stupid things meanwhile you got your panties all up in a knot and jumped on that bait like the sucker to whine the same empty argument because daddy took your edgy hate symbol away.

They ought to sue those censors for religious discrimination and bring back his real sword guard. But once again, in the name of equality, PC tramples on it, and on all art, beauty, and meaning.
@@ReeVoque yes. It's childish fear of appearances over truth, shutting down something that looks racist but isn't and consequently repressing a Buddhist symbol and much of the art and beauty of bleach. Ichigo's journey is not as strong with a meaningless X, nor the show as beautiful without that stylish eastern hilt, which doesn't have a damn thing to do with the insignificant filth of nazi Germany and their brief so called third reich. They don't get to keep controlling us. And most people raving about them today, are repeating their actions.
@@waldoman7 I personally don’t feel any kind of way towards its design. But most people I know who watched the show saw the swastika as a reminder of the Nazi party as well as the KKK party. If shonen is trying to make money, than you can’t blame them if they censor it to appeal to the general public. It’s their prerogative
what does this have to do with stands? I didnt see any huge spirits manifesting from behind them. If you wanna talk about discount stand users, look at the persona series and Ansem from Kingdom Hearts.
@@JoeDirtisawsome suit stands exist and dirty boots as well as ichigo' fullbring are essentially suit stands. Think ghiaccio, etc. Also dollhouse and others still exhibit stand like abilities
