Fun fact: For the first time, when Old man Zangetsu says “I am NOT Zangetsu” ichigo’s inner world starts to crumble. From his very first appearance, Ichigo’s Quincy powers always kept insisting that he was his Zanpakuto spirit. The first time he tells the truth, everything Ichigo once knew crumbles around him.
To this day favorite foreshadowing that the hollow was telling the truth was during the fight with Ulquiorra. Once Ichigo died and turned into that Vasto Lorde. The Vasto Lorde force pulled the blade to himself as if the Hollow and the sword were one and the same.
This. White was essentially something similar to an asauchi, albeit with hollow characteristics. It eventually became Zangetsu when Ichigo (unknowingly) imprinted his soul into it. It also probably explains why Zangetsu was similar to early Ichigo (punkish, likes to fight, etc.) in terms of attitude, albeit a bit more extreme.
From what I understood, the Hollow is his Soul reaper powers. But when the realization that King Quincy was acting as it, Ichigo refused to believe it. In my opinion, he manifested enough spiritual power to have two blades. One being his Hollow, and the other as the "Zangestu" he knew. In the manga, it wasn't explained very well due to Shonen restricting Kubo Tite with deadlines, which is why I'm thoroughly enjoying the anime. Kubo Tite has major influence and fleshing out with more story/plot that he could, as he has more time.
The hollow is the power of Soul king had been obtained because he want hollow powers after resurrected as Kaien. He thought by mastering hollow the realm could stabilize without him dissected. He would become known as Ichigo Kurosaki. His actions led to his mother dead. I think. @@Kagranth
His zanpakuto spirits are still there, but they exist within his zanpakuto. Meaning both of them are merged with his shinigami power. If not, then his quincy power couldn't be imprinted into his asauchi. Before he had his zanpakuto properly forged, he didn't have an asauchi, but because white was created by layering shinigami souls, that meant ichigos inner hollow was similar to an asauchi and merged with his latent shinigami power along with being one with the quincy power ichigo inherited from masaki since white is the hollow that infected masaki. That hollow, merged with both ichigos quincy soul and shinigami power became zangetsu. But now they are both imprinted onto an asauchi oetsu forged and created a true zanpakuto (shinigami sword with zanpakuto spirit imprinted into it) ichigos bankai allows him to combine them back into one (the form they originally came as) likely becoming the merged tensa zangetsu we saw ichigo train with in the dangai.
So the hollow they killed was vasto lorde ichigos hollow make sense cuase the hollow's spirit essence was with masaki and then transferring it to ichigo
Not quite, she was a servant, Uryu's dad was supposed to marry Ichigo's mom, but he didn't exactly fall for her, he fell in love with Uryu's mom, if I remember correctly he also renounced his position in the family.
It was the forbidden love, once ichigo's mom became impure they love Uryu's dad decided that the one he loved was more improtant than his duties as a quincy
That "Zangetsu" is not the personification of his Zanpakutou, but his Quincy origin manifested as a much younger image of Ywach. The true "Zangetsu" is the Hollow that always acts like a jerk, but is in fact wanting Ichigo to mature and grasp its power to the fullest. However, knowing that Ichigo would never take the words of a Hollow, true "Zangetsu" agreed to lend his power to Ichigo's Quincy side "Juha Bach", someone who has a better shot at communicating with Ichigo.
@saltissalty3498 that's why his fullbring was the absolute manifestation of quincy and his hollow is absolute manifestation of his zanpakutou It's also why his zanpakutou showed him how to use his bankai properly against byakuya

@nogirenaldi5084 ichigos zanpakuto was imperfect. The white is the sheath for his quincy power and the black is his shimigami power This is it's final form. His Zangetsu showed him the mask he would wear when he masters Zangetsu In vaste lorde ichigo died and Zangetsu became the horse. He was completely unhinged with full power and was in he'll which gives hollows a boost in strength. Ichigo can duel wield or combine the blade into one. His mastered form would be wearing the horn mask.
he´s the manifestation of his quincy powers.. remember his fight with Zaraki? the moment Ichigo stopped bleeding was his inner quincy power using instintively Blut vene.. the hollow ichigo is actually his real soul reaper powers - the real zanpakuto - zangetsu.. And since we know all quincy have one and the same progenitor - Yuha Bach, ichigo´s quincy power took on Yuha´s appearance..
